I have had my rentals with CBE Property Management for about 5 years now. When I first started I had a few problems and met with the owner, Alex Horowitz, He then (within a few weeks) hired on Melissa Flores, Wow what a find. Melissa treats the tenants the way she would like to be treated. They call her with a problem and she gets right on it. In the 5 years my units have not been empty for than a few week total. They find great people to rent to. A few days ago Melissa and myself were to meet a roofer and guess who shows up, Alex, He tells the roofer, if we sign this contract I don’t want any surprises, No extra charges. He treats the units like there his own. I really appreciate all that Melissa and Alex do for me.

Saw an ad on Craigslist for a rental. I emailed a woman asking for a showing and inquiring about other details. Got answers to a few questions, but never a response about the showing. I emailed again inquiring about a showing, radio silence for 3 days. She finally got back to me, but I didn’t get the message in time for her showing. We set up a time for another showing, but she was unable to make it and asked to reschedule. I asked for a date and time, radio silence. I understand emergencies happen, but there was really no one else that could show the unit? Mind you this has been on the market for almost 3 weeks and I had been trying to see it for over a week.
In addition, in her emails there was no enthusiasm and in general she just didn’t seem in a rush to get the unit rented. I know if I was listing (and paying) my home with this company and they were this lax about showing it, I would be not very happy.

My family and I were in a bit of a pickle with our current house being put up for sale so we needed to find a house quick! Alex Horowitz offices crossed our search and we were blessed with his agent Sara Lopez! She was an absolute sweetheart through the whole process and made everything so easy. They ensured that our new landlords had the home in tip top shape and let us know what we had to do. Thank you to Alex Horowitz and his amazing associates.
