If you’ve always wanted a place you could go and have all of your green thumb questions answered or if you go with an idea and you need someone to guide you for a landscape project or just a way to beautify your yard, this place is it. Mike is the owner and the most knowledgeable gardener. He is so patient and always makes time to hear you out and make suggestions and walk you around the nursery. Never once have I felt rushed in all my visits there. I have bought two citrus trees from him (which are doing beautifully) and also planted an entire butterfly garden with plants from his nursery. The quality and the price are unbelievable. My latest project was a Mother’s Day gift to myself which he helped me throw together in about 10 minutes because he’s so creative. It’s like he was reading my mind and new exactly what I wanted. I’ve included a picture so you could see it. I won’t go anywhere else for my plants ever again. The big box stores have nothing on Mike!

Great family-​owned nursery! Mike was so helpful and friendly. We showed him what area we were buying for and he came up with so many different options for us. We will definitely be back for our next project!

I had a fantastic experience here. I came in looking to start some container/​herb gardens. I met AJ and she was AMAZING. We had so much fun. All I told her was it needed to smell good. She showed me tons of options and explained everything. We had a blast. I picked out what I wanted, provided the pots and she put it all together. It was MORE than I expected in service but MUCH LESS cost than I expected. I cannot wait to go back, I am already making plans for more projects. I also met smile, the owner, and he was equally friendly and helpful. What a gem!

I swore that I posted in here before but I have been to this nursery three times and each time have been extremely satisfied with not only the quality of the plants but the friendliness of the staff and the exceptional pricing. I highly recommend you check it out. I refer all of my friends and family to this nursery.

If you want to have a HUGE selection of plants and to speak to a knowledgeable arborist/​gardener, you definitely have to come to Greenland Nursery and meet Michael the owner. Obviously, Greenland Nursery is better than the gardening section of Lowe’s/Home Depot; But Greenland Nursery is also better than the more upscale Armstrong Nurseries.

After getting a list of drought resistant plants from
, I brought in the list to Michael and his partner/​employee; They were able to give me the pros and cons of all the plants and also offer me some additional choices that were specific to my preferences. Considering the knowledge that I gleaned from them, Greenland Nursery totally deserves my business. Plus, the prices are reasonable. Also, Michael has been designing landscaping for years and brings in tons of experience. Besides trees/​plants, Michael also does work with pavers.
Cons:
1) Greenland Nursery is on a huge lot on the corner of Lambert and Valencia. The entrance is through an almost hidden driveway only on Valencia. I had to drive around a few times to find the entrance.
2) Keep in mind that Greenland Nursery is a small business. I don’t expect Michael to live there ²⁴⁄₇. Make an APPOINTMENT if you want to be certain of speaking personally to Michael the owner.

Had a wonderful experience with Michael. He was knowledgable and helpful, answering any questions I had and making good suggestions.
I had planned to purchase at Lowe’s but was disappointed in selection and found myself here. For the same price I had budgeted for there I was able to get much more, and the plants are more mature.
Very happy! I’ll be back again when I start the next project.

I’ve been to Roger’s Gardens. I’ve been to OC Succulents. I’ve been to Home Depot/​Lowes. If I knew Greenland Nursery existed I would have saved a ton of gas and a ton of money.
This Place has enormous inventory of drought tolerant landscaping. The kicker is the wholesale prices or ridiculously low. Plants that I expected to be 50 — 40 dollars were 14.99!
This place is truly a diamond in the rough. A must visit before the public catches on.
A nice Thai Lady helped us out. She was extremely knowledgeable and gave us great tips on planting our newly purchased plants. My wife is picky when it comes to choosing plants and the sales lady was very patient and walked us through the nursery.
They had a special on baby palms for $ 5. Enough said.

Staff is super nice, the one that ruins the atmosphere completely is the owner. He is super negative and treats his own employees with no respect or professionalism what so ever. He seriously should be reported. I was outside and I could hear him screaming at the top of his lungs to whoever was in there… It was sad. And all employees looked embarrassed and scared and I don’t think he even knew I was there… No one should ever get treated that way and even though employees were great, it’s his business so I’m giving one star.

I love this nursery, i will never go to the big chain stores again. David is so knowledgeable about all the plants and took the time to show me different types of plants that i have never heard of. The prices are cheaper then anywhere i have gone to in orange county, the selection was fabulous. I have been in the morning and afternoon, i have never been disappointed with the service. They will put plastic down in your car and even pack all the plants in for you. I can not express how happy i am about this place.

My husband and I visited Greenland Nursery this past weekend with our plant list and diagram in hand for our phase one landscape remodel. We meet Mike the owner who was eager to help us with our project. We explored the entire nursery looking for the perfect plants. Mike was extremly helpful and knowledgeable about the various drought friendly plants we needed. He also offered suggestions for alternatives to what was listed on our plan. Awesome experience. Very Disorganized, Employees have to call owner to get prices on plants, they could not get ahold of him and so I left. The employees were very apologetic and told me it has happened before. The owner had one employee working the nursery i saw two others in the back on the tractors and watering. This poor guy was all alone out there with no backup and about 5 people walking around the nursery with all of them needing help. If you need customer service this isn’t the place. there is many more who will go above and beyond to help you.

The owner is Michael Green. He is knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. His prices are quite reasonable and he provides excellent services. The nursery is located in a convenient location with easy access. The inventory is varied and easy to inspect. If you have questions he will be more than happy to answer all inquiries. He is moving from a Norco location which will definitely benefit Orange County.
