First time here… Orders the original milk tea boba as recommended by the guy at the counter. He was polite & quick with my order. But, i have to say it was really plain & I could barely taste the tea. My advise would be to, ask for more TEA vs milk.(I asked for easy boba)

Any tea here is the best compare to any other fast served tea related chain stores. It takes a while to prepare but it is definitely worth the wait. Food is authentic Taiwanese food. Free wi-fi and best place to have a quiet afternoon for yourself and friends. :)

I don’t understand why this place has such a great review. As a Taiwanese I find this place to be a disappointment. We came at lunch time, there are 2 other tables and we waited for 40 mins for our food. I got the Taiwanese chow mein. The only thing Taiwanese about it is the name. The flavor is very boring and salty. They’re missing the main indigence of any Taiwanese dish… GARLIC. My friend got the curry chicken and he even said it’s bland. As a warning they add mlik in their slushy drinks. I got the Passion fruit slushy and it has milk in it. It should’ve been called a smoothie! I’ve never been to any tea place that adds milk in their passion fruit slushy. Also there are no add on choices other than boba. No small boba, no aloe, no grass Jelly. The reason I didn’t give this place a one star is they have decent tea.

Huz and I came one evening and were welcomed by an older man and woman who were very friendly. Atmosphere — Clean, neat, quiet, welcoming. Drinks — Grapefruit kombucha was nice and refreshing. It is home made! Roasted oolong iced tea was a star. Huz and I tasted a subtle sweetness and the high quality of roasted oolong was evident. This was our favorite. Food — Will def come back and try some of their entrees.

Today, I had the iced pomegranate tea with boba. I usually am skeptical of getting boba drinks at places that don’t have boba drinks as their main items, but this was good. Since their specialty is tea, it was a pretty damn good tasting tea. I can taste that the tea was fresly brewed and not just water, powder, and boba. Also, the boba tapioca balls had a nice balance of soft and firm texture, which made the drink really delicious. My wife and I wanted to go again right after we finished our drink. This place is great for people who like hot and cold tea. My wife and I are definitely coming back.

There are so many outlets which makes it a great place for studying and doing homework! Their classical music is nice too!

Gave it a 4 cause my wife likes it… however to me is just mediocre; the number of selection is rather limited; It reminds me of the old tea-station in Rowland. I mean, the taste of the Chinese food aren’t impress enough to get a 4 star rating. Since the price is bit at the lower-end, I guess you shouldn’t expect much from mom&pop shop? But the drink however is different story. Haven’t try their boba, but the green tea/milk tea selection reminds of Taiwanese tradition style with tea flavors over the milk… which is GOOD! Herbal enough to call themselves tea house. hands down. The service is good, can be little more friendly, it’s quite and not too much traffic if you need to study(not sure about wifi) or have peaceful afternoon tea…**finally actual Chinese/Twn food here in Fullerton/Brea

Been coming here for years. Always my go to. Food here is good too. I always get the mince pork. Taste like homemade. Place is clean. Not much to complain about except they don’t open too late like other boba places.

Ordered pork fried rice, sausage fried rice, dumplings and curry rice, all dishes were very salty to the point that were hard for us to finish. Rude and slow services. Afterwards, one of our friend had diarrhea. The $ 32 tea pot they sold as new was used, defective and broke, very dishonest family run business at this location. Avoid this location.

DONOTCOMEHEREFORBOBA. Do come here for amazing tea and tea-related foods! Free wifi, very quiet atmosphere(and classical music), amazingly flavorful and fresh tea. A little pricey, but the PERFECT place to study all day. I got the jasmine green tea and it was tasty because I love tea. If you like SWEETANDTEA-FLAVORED, get the slush. My boyfriend got a green tea slush and it has a really good balance of sugar and tea. The«simmer sample,» which is a plate of beef, seaweed, and tofu in a yummy special soy sauce, is very good! Definitely going to become a regular here.

Food is okay, some cooked fresh by the owner Iced teas are pretty good. Others not sure Wait for food is too long, up to 30 minutes since its literally the owner cooking during lunch time. Hire more people if need be. Service is bland. People have serious faces and no smiles, no greetings. Order pay serve get out. Very very clean and organized restaurant plus relaxing classical music. Feels almost OCDish of the lady owner. BIGGESTNONO: they have pet parakeets or birds in cages in the back room constantly calling. Very disruptive. AMBIENCEOUTTHEDOOR. keep your pets at home. Parking is plenty.

I won’t mind coming back, but I won’t mind going somewhere else either. PARKING Located in a plaza along with other small businesses, so they share a parking lot. Did not have trouble parking at all. INTERIOR/EXTERIOR If I am new to this area, I don’t think I would take too much notice of this little Taiwanese shop. It is located in a plaza across from Brea Mall and before State College. There are plenty of tables available — there are people who come by for lunch, short catching up with friends, or those that want a quiet place to study. Interior is very simple, almost plain. I do love their bar area where there is a huge display of teas! MENU Despite the peaceful atmosphere, something about this place does not welcome me with open arms. In terms of food, their portions are very limited. With the price you pay, it was not worth amount you get. The boyfriend ordered the Popcorn Chicken with Rice when we stopped by in the afternoon to eat. There were only a few pieces of chicken and rice. An egg and a small side of cabbage was included, but it was not something that easily fills the emptiness of the plate. You know that feeling you get when you open the bag of chips and it is 40% air? Well, it’s that kinda feeling here too. I got the Green Onion Pancake as an afternoon snack and I loved it — it is a good snack to share, but eat it while it is still warm! SERVICE Service is very… quiet. They aren’t rude but they aren’t exactly friendly either. It’s just taking your order and dropping off your items. We entered the shop and did not know whether we were suppose to order up front, wait to be seated, or take a seat ourselves. There was no indication whatsoever, even after they have acknowledged our presence. We ended up taking a seat and someone brought us our menu. I asked for recommendations because there wasn’t anything I particularly crave, but I didn’t get much feedback. It made me uncomfortable that there was a lady who came in with a parrot. She sat in the back table and seems to know the owner. Whatever, we were done and leaving anyways.

This is my go to spot for a quick Taiwanese style lunch and fresh, premium quality teas. I usually get the popcorn chicken plate or Formosa sausage plate with their oolong teas, black teas or green teas. Now they have kombucha! Such a lovely little mom and pop spot. The décor is cozy and they usually play classical music good for studying or grabbing a quick bite with friends to catch up. Located near the Brea mall.

My reviews are based on solely Oolong milk tea and minced pork rice that I ordered. My expectation was for a Taiwanese restaurant that will serve better quality tea and bubble tea. Just when i walked into the store and noticing there’s jars and cans of high premium quality teas, my expectation is even more higher. What I had that day was made by the lady owner herself, it taste like just milk and sugar!(Was way so sweet). I have not even tasted any Oolong tea at all which I’m buying for. As for the rice, it came in a small to go box, the side vegetable and minced pork was way salty and I cant barely eat. Such a huge disappointment and I ended up throwing my $ 3+ cup just like that. I rather drive to the nearby Lollicup and get my bubble tea there and I don’t think I’ll be back for any of their bubble tea at all. My good advice is ask for a sample to taste before you buying it, hope this helps.

Ordered the minced beef and black milk tea… Rounds up to $ 10. TINY tiny tiny portion. Not cool that I’m still hungry after spending that much for lunch. Food was sub-average, compared to other Taiwanese restaurants. The milk tea was watered down and sweet. This is the second time I tried this place. I will likely not go back.

Came in for some boba milk tea since I was craving some on my way to work. I was greeted by a older gentleman. It seemed slow considering I came on a rainy day. I ordered a large boba milk tea. My total came out to $ 4.86. Now that is very expensive for some boba so of course after that I was under the impression it was some fantastic boba milk tea. When I received my drink and took a sip of it once I got to my car, so the let down began. It tasted very bland almost as if it was just water. The boba was a little hard but not as bad as volcano tea’s boba. Service was fine but the tase was bad. The place here is also very clean and looks nice and tidy.

Another Taiwanese place, Woo Hoo! I like Chinese food, but Taiwanese cuisine is probably one of my favorite of all the Chinese cuisines. Here’s the rundown: Green Onion Pancake — Yum! I like the green onion flavor on this one. Think quesadilla without the cheese and green onion instead, lol Popcorn Chicken — This one was just okay for me. We usually get this not spicy(so the boy can eat it too) and I just add togarashi to it. The flavor was a little weak IMO. Minced Pork — I liked this dish! It came with an egg(over cooked unfortunately) and mustard greens(the bomb). It was on the small side, but it did the job. Chinese Sausage — Yum Yum Yum. The Chinese sausage was very good. This dish came with some cauliflower, omelet & mustard green. A good complete meal. I’m a fan of this one! Beef Stew Noodle Soup — I judge all Chinese noodle places by this dish. Midastee PASSES with flying colors. This was good. I love the hearty flavor of the broth. Yum. They were not stingy on the meat and it was tender. The noodles were perfect. Delicious! Mango Slush w/Boba — This drink was good! I’d get this again. I know they’re more known for their drinks, but try the food. It’s GOOD!
