Great place to have a church picnic. Parking may be a little tight.

I love Olinda Ranch Park! I discovered it while looking for the Olinda Oil Museum Trail. It’s beautiful, very well kept up and you can walk a 3 mile loop if you start at Wildcatters Park at Blackstone. Just s beautiful neighborhood & park, I walk out here almost every week. You can cross the street and walk right into Carbon Canyon Park, there’s a great hiking trail at the back!

Great little family park! I love the little flat trail alongside it! It appears to be mostly traveled by humans & horses, but saw bike tracks which isn’t an issue, since it wasn’t crowded at all. It’s across from the two populated regional/state parks and this one a community park that serves all the families in the surrounding neighborhood. There’s a lot of beautiful flowers and trees that offer shade in most parts. Also has a sidewalk side by side, so you have your pick of walking, jogging, etc. We tracked it and it said(not sure if accurate, but just approximation) of about 3 miles round trip. Park offers picnic areas, basketball courts, field big enough for soccer & probably softball, skate board area and benches through out to soak in the peaceful beauty of it. Ideal for a small picnic for small family/couple. Aside from the two big parks, one of them offering tons of trails, I believe it’s also not too far from the Oil Rig trail & museum. If your in the area, check it out. Special trip would be because you have the other options of other bigger parks. Big plus is it makes you feel like your far away from the city(which essentially you are, but nice to know downtown Brea’s not too far and you can indulge in the restaurants and entertainment. Appears to be doggy friendly(rules listed upon entrances) I would assume the trail for sure, and it appeared most people picked up after their pets, it was very clean. Parking appears to be a challenge on holidays and probably on spring/summer times. Restricted parking on residential, you might have to park far for this one on weekends. Parking lot appeared to be small.
