I was excited that there’s a Potato Corner near where I live ’cause I’ve always loved Potato Corner but I was disappointed that they don’t mix flavors. Unlike the one at Sta. Anita Mall in Arcadia where I used to go get my fries, they would combine any flavors you request (mine is sour cream and BBQ). So I only got my fries with sour cream flavor and after that I never went back. Plus the customer service is mediocre. Not very friendly.

I ordered JoJo chips with garlic and parmesan, but when I received my order, the lady gave me tater tots. So, I told her I did not order tater tots. She was kind enough to remake my order. However, I received terribly made chips. It taste burnt. The color of my chips was a darker shade of brown. Although in the picture, the chips seem ok, trust me, it tasted nasty and burnt af. I was dissatisfied with my order And mostly disappointed.

The fries I got tasted good, but the service was just ABYSMAL!
So I ordered the chili cheese fries (sans cheese) and asked the clerk at the counter whether I could get the jalapeños, sour cream and bacon bits at additional charge, and she said she will get the manager. I was thinking, «Are you freakin’ kidding me? You don’t even know whether the food that your work has doesn’t have this condiment or that condiment??? Anyway, I got the fries with the sour cream on the side (when I was expecting the sour cream to be ON TOP of the fries), and I didn’t see any bacon bits on the fries either. So, I mentioned to the girl at the front counter about the absence of bacon bits, and she said, «We don’t have them, sorry, sir.»
Okay, fine. If you don’t have the things I wanted, give me my money back. So, she gave me the $ 1.00 back I paid for the absent jalapeños and bacon bits, but all in all, the chili fries tasted great.
2.5÷5 stars for the horrific service.

MAAAAAN this place takes a LONG ASS TIME! They have one employee who man’s two different registers for two different restaurants located in the same booth. Wow. Poor kid was hustling back and forth between registers, taking orders, making drinks, preparing the shake, all while someones tots were burning. This place is obviously mismanaged, since it doesn’t take long to pop some potatoes in the fryer and shake up some seasoning on them. What takes forever is that they have some poor kid doing the work for 3 – 4 people. tsktsk… not coming back until this place is properly staffed.

I have been a customer here for quite some time and I always have a great experience when coming here.
Ryan especially is a great employee who is one of those employees that is certainly a future leader of his own business.
He’s one of those employees who you has a great personality and knows how to do his job correctly.
Highly recommend this place for some great snacks and delicious flavors!

Pretty easy to overlook this place in the food court, it’s right next to the Taco Bell. It was pretty dirty when I stopped by, there were seasoning crumbs all over the countertop.
[STAFF]
The cashier seemed almost annoyed that I was there, but once we got to talking he was pretty nice. I’ve never been here before, so he offered me a sample of the chili BBQ! Very helpful.
[FOOD]
As an avid potato lover, this place was like a dream come true. They had so many different flavors and options to choose from! The only negative thing I would say is that I wish the flavored seasoning was distributed a little better amongst the fries/​tots. Some pieces had wayyyy too much while some had like little to none.

I’ve heard about potato corner, I just never tried it until now. I was actually surprise, it’s pretty good. It’s usually at the mall but small location. If you look at the other signs at the food court, this is the darkest one. I tried the bbq fries, it’s pretty good, also added some sour cream powder. I’ll go back, want to try a new flavor out next time.

I would think all potato corner would have the same service but not here. One employee dropped my order and told me to wait a little more longer (I’ve already waited longer). When you drop someone order, you don’t tell them to wait, you go straight and remake their order! And don’t lie about the wait time! Also, don’t freaking chit chat while you work! You know there are customers waiting for their orders!

This place has definitely improved. And I’m happy about that. I dropped by on a Sunday since I was craving fries. I asked for extra cheese and they hooked it up with soooo much. Turnaround time was alot quicker than before… it was more than 15 before, now less than 5 min.

I was skeptical about this place at first. After all, it’s in a mall food court — not exactly the type of joint you’d expect good eats.
Oh, how I was wrong.
The associate here was really friendly. I ordered the jumbo combo that comes with a beverage and fries in chilli bbq flavor (it was just around tree fiddy plus a dollar and give or take a few coins). The associate told me it’d be out in 5 or so minutes.
I think they actually came out faster than the ETA, but I wasn’t timing it or anything. The associate didn’t give me any napkins, but luckily I am a tissue hoarder so I had some in my purse.
The product was a strangely fluorescent red like Hot Cheetos, but sparsely seasoned (so like a balding Hot Cheeto). Surprisingly, I was full from eating 4/​5ths of the fries. They were such salty, slightly sweet and spicy deliciousness. I don’t know why the fries were so tasty, but I crave Potato Corner on the daily.
tl;dr these are some next-​level addictive fries

This place is very good, despite the reviews to the contrary!
It’s just a small potato joint in the corner of the mall, how wrong can it go. Order, pay, and pick up!
That’s all there was to it. I didn’t have high expectations for the place so I can’t rate it badly. And especially because the fries are BOMB.
It makes up for the slow service because I understand if you want it fresh they’re going to have to fry up some fries for you. Understandable. And worth it.
Ignore the low stars. Don’t sacrifice missing out on this place because of it. Although pretty overpriced for some flavored fries. It’s the convenience of having it ready to go with no effort that makes up for it!

Who said Mc Donald has the best fries? Like me, you will most likely think that until you try Potato Corner. Especially their onion and sour cream flavored fries. I usually order them well done to get that awesome crispy taste.
This particular location was very clean and appeared organized. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The price is decent for what you get, many people think they are a little expensive. The medium size is a little under $ 5.00. Again, I personally don’t think that’s too bad cause I don’t mind paying for good food and services. In this case, it’s exactly that.
They are kinda addictive, every time I come to Brea Mall, I make it a routine to stop by this place.
Tips: It is so good to have it with the Philly steak sandwich. It actually enhances any sandwich that I order from there.

Just a while ago, I gave up going to Hot Fries at the Santa Ana Main Place Mall because of their rude employees. I felt very hopeless that I would never find another French Fry restaurant in Orange County. Well, thank goodness that somebody on Unilocal recently referred me to this place! After reading the good reviews below, it really convinced me that some people are very satisfied about this spot.
I ordered the Cheddar Style fries in a Mega Size for $ 4.45. The fries are very tasty tasting a lot like potato chips! The guy did put a great amount of seasoning and fries in my cup. Well, the reason why I gave 3 stars is because he didn’t smile much and respond «you’re welcome» or any other kind response. He also told me to wait 5 minutes for the fries to be done but it took longer than that. I might come back again if I am going to Brea again!
By the way, I saw a big sign saying «#1 Fries In The World» near the menu. Take that Hot Fries!

Potatoes for life. The perfect snack, meal or pregame for a night of drinking. Potatoes any and every way you want it. Here a potato there a potato.
Baked potatoes. Broccoli with cheese? No? Okay, chili and jalapenos? No? Alright then butter, sour cream and chives.
Not a potato lover? Fries your thing? Fries galore! Chili! BBQ! Chive! Onion! Small, medium, large, extra large and ginormous.
Ketchup is free, everything else is an added charge.
I would have given four stars but I was unhappy I waited 20 minutes for a baked potato and then even though I asked and paid for extra sour cream and chives I felt like I got a regular amount. Bummer.
Def share with a friend. If not for your wallet then for your artories.

This place reminds of the Philippines. They had a small booth in front of my high school and I use to buy some before heading home. Glad it’s available here and close to home.
I ordered regular fries with half bbq and half sour cream flavor. The fries were fresher and the seasoning was prefect. The portion was great too. My daughter loves fries and she was in heaven.
Customer service wasn’t bad considering they just opened and was ready to serve. Fast friendly service. Good was ready in 5 minutes. No complaints here.

SAME SLOW AF SERVICE!
I decided to try this place again to see if things have improved. Nope, still waited 20 minutes for a basic order.
Some people who ordered AFTER me received their orders BEFORE me. Like, oh, okay then.
Seriously I hope this place shuts down and a decent place takes its spot. Idk if there is a manager here but if there is they need to gtfo of the mall because the service here is sooooooooo awful.

Service is a miss. The Asian dude taking orders hates his life. He doesn’t smile. He hates making potatoes and sprinkling flavors onto them.
It took FOREVER. I get it’s made to order but it took over 10 minutes to get my order. It takes 2 minutes max to fry the potato. It felt like they were growing the potato and peeling and then dicing and then frying. It was crazy.
The actual potato was good sour cream and BBQ Mix is good. However, they did refuse to mix the two flavors for us but just be adamant.
