Today was my second visit to Ray’s and again was not disappointed. Easy, quick and economical.

I’ve come here 3 days in a row with my co-workers and i LOVE it. The staff is so friendly, and quick. They greet you very politely over the phone, she also remembers your name. I’ve gotten the California Turkey Club w/the cucumber salad(it’s delicious). Also the chicken quesadilla with the homemade salsa :) My friend has gotten the Balsamic wrap and it’s been good. The roast beef sandwich was alright too dry with the sourdough bread.

Excellent place for breakfast. The people here could not be nicer. OMG the best service I’ve had in years. Food was fresh and delicious. The breakfast burrito was excellent. The prices are ridiculous… so cheap for what you get. $$$$ what a bargain. I would definitely come back here.

I used to come here when it was Paradise Café so I thought I would see how this compared. A friend told me not to bother but I can be a little stubborn. First thing I noticed was that the place was empty, Paradise was always crowded at noon so this threw me off a bit. They have some of the same menu items and my favorite was always their chicken salad sandwich on Squaw bread, so that’s what I ordered. I could tell it was similar but not as good, tasted like there was something missing. I think the best part is the very friendly and accommodating staff. I love people who like to chat it up so this café was comfortable for me. At this point I think I’ll say, you should probably give it a try for yourself and judge it on it’s own merits since I’m comparing it to the café that was there before.

Cool trendy little spot. Clean place. Now for the food. Omg great food! Tastes perfect and well balanced with all their ingredients. I got the Turkey Pesto Panini. Very good sandwich. The sun dried tomatoes added the perfect touch. Also got the Roast Beef and Gouda. Very good panini sandwich. Also their cucumber salad and potato salad is amazing. They make them in house with garlic and vinegarette. Plus the people that work here are very friendly and nice. Def will come back here!

I went here for lunch and had a turkey sandwich. Nothing too special but everything was fresh and the service was nice. A quick place to grab a bite, but easily missed if you don’t know the area

I visited this place recently after seeing so many great reviews people put up but after visiting, i’m disappointed. Compared to how much you pay for their brrakfast the food portions are small and the quality is bland.

Still coming here and still loving it. I have convinced everyone that I work with that this is the absolute best place to have lunch. The food is always fresh and absolutely yummy! And Vivian is still as sweet and friendly as ever. I would think the girl is sick of me by now but she is still super friendly and the epitome of customer service.

I love Rae G! They always have fresh sandwiches, soups, and salad. Everything I’ve ordered on the menu has«homemade» taste to it. They have a made in house balsamic vinaigrette dressing that I could literally drink if I could! Pricing is cheap and Vivian that works the front is always very friendly and nice. Customer Service is always on point!

Great customer service! The staff was very welcoming and kind. I really enjoyed the iced latte I ordered and for the price it was well made. I definitely will return to try their sandwhiches. There’s plenty of parking in that area and I went during lunch time.

I don’t review places unless I’ve been there a couple of times so I can really learn the restaurant. I work very close to Rae G Café so I’ve stopped by for lunch many times. Its a family run joint and is of course friendly and a bit more expensive. Rae G Café has its flaws but its personal touch and delicious menu make some of the things I used to mind seem not very important after that first bite. +Clean environment +Good parking +Friendliest Service ever +Great Sandwiches and Salads +Great potato salad –Price is high –Food takes awhile even for salads Rae G is a great sandwich shop with good salads and side dishes but I wish the food came out a bit faster and that there would be more creativity for the sandwich of the day. The prices are a bit high so if you are going to be charging me a good amount I except some interesting varieties of items on your menu along with the classics. I will be returning soon to Rae G Café and I hope they make my sandwich on time!

I had lunch here today for the first time. The owners are very kind and efficient. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. I had the goat cheese Panini. It was delicious. I would like to return and try a salad or another sandwich. This is way better than subway, togos, corner bakery or panera I thought the prices were good. The quality and freshness of the food was excellent.

I come here at least twice a week. My office is a quarter of a mile away. I have had the pastrami panini, tuna melt, chef’s salad, tuna salad over mixed greens, pasta salad(my favorite). Everything I have tried has been delicious and fresh! Rae G’s never disappoints! Vivian works the front counter and is a sweetheart! Great customer service.

My co-worker told me about this place, and it was a hit! I work around the corner from this place and it will become my new lunch spot. I had the grilled veggie wrap with a side of pasta salad. The veggies were fresh and tasty. My girlfriend had the tuna wrap and she said it was one of the best tuna wraps she’s ever had. The service is superb, extremely nice people. If you work around the area or find yourself nearby skip subway and togo’s and give this place a try. :) By the way they will deliver on orders $ 30 or more.

I personally like this small café because it feels very homie and business seems to come from a lot of loyal customers. Warm and friendly service too! I would be a loyal customer if I didn’t live so far away!

Saved my 100th review of 2013 for a good one!!! I LOVE Rae G Café. Love, love, love. Food-wise, I would have to say Rae G is about a 4. But it is the AMAZING service of the wonderful Vivian that makes this a 5-star joint. The interior is simple: a few tables, a TV set on the news, overall not a huge interior, but a nice homey feel. What are my absolute faves? –Tuna Melt: delicious, juicy, tuna filled, cheese covered panini. When it comes to paninis, this takes the cake. –Chicken Avocado Quesadilla: I really don’t know what makes this so delish! But I LOVE this quesadilla! Thick cheese, whole wheat tortilla, grilled onions, huge chunks of chicken, creamy avocado, super juicy. All I can say is YUM. I have also been so blessed to have had the oh-so-rare, melt-in-your-mouth, delectably elusive bulgogi panini back in 2011, I believe it was. Haven’t seen it back yet, but keep an eye out! Other notable items are the cold counter salads(my co-worker LOVES the pasta salad) and tasty soup offerings. Be sure to also check out the combo of the day! Finally, Rae G also offers delivery service and I know they serve as a go-to spot when it comes to office catering. Usually we order a variety of sandwiches and an order of the pasta salad. TL;DR: Love Rae G for the service(yay Vivian!). Check out the tuna melt or chicken avocado quesadilla. Deeelish!

I often wonder how businesses come up with such clever names. Since, this small mom and pop shop café is Korean owned, I’m going to take a stab at this and guess that Rae G. is the owner’s name. Add the one word which cements this place — Café, and VOILA! You have Rae G. Café. If my father’s Korean name is Tae K, then you know where my logic comes from. Putting all the rambling aside, I often go to this quaint sandwich shop for lunch. They have organic salads, quesadillas, wraps, and paninis — all decently priced. They used to have a Bulgogi Panini, which was pretty tasty, but I was informed during my last visit that the overhead cost was too high to continue selling them. DARN! I know small businesses are not easy to maintain, so I can understand that. I ordered the Pastrami Panini. Made simple, fresh, and to my liking, the damage was $ 7. I know paninis normally average around the 9 to 10 dollar mark, so it’s a no brainer. Vivian, who works the counter and the dining room, has a positive attitude and a winning smile when greeting customers. The service is really great and it’s what I like the most about this place. My usual is their potato salad(BOMB!) and the Turkey Club Sandwich. Their heroes are always clean and neat. Similar, to something that I can make at home, but with better ingredients and presentation. I’ve been meaning to try their organic coffees as well, that come highly recommended. Being close to work, it saves me a lot of time, and makes my lunchtime worthwhile.
