Ordered the lunch portion of line caught trout with side of green beans and broccoli, salad included. It was delicious, good portion size & veggies were cooked properly. Hubby ordered the lobster lovers dream which he enjoyed very much Good service not crowded.

Excellent service! Even on Valentine’s day, the wait was only 40 minutes. All people working last night were great. We had not one single complain. The service, the foods were amazing! We highly recommended.

Had a great experience here and some delicious food with great service. Our server Alex was awesome and attentive. We could tell he’s been doing this for a long time. Ordered the sampler with shrimp, crab and lobster tails… AMAZING! I try to leave reviews only when I experience great food or excellent service(to combat the negative Nancy’s out there) and Alex deserves some major credit, he’s awesome! Everything was perfect! Will be back!

Came in with my boyfriend and had the best server ever! Thanks to Alec, we enjoyed an amazing dinner and amazing service. I’m also in the customer service field, and always expect the best service and that’s exactly what we got that night. Can’t wait to go back for the cheese biscuits. Ugh, so bomb! Thanks again, Alec! You rock!

I haven’t been back to this place in over 20 years. We used to dine here often when I was younger. Now with so many seafood restaurants available from the casual(Boiling Crab) to high-end(McCormick and Schmick) and many other trendy places, Red Lobster seems so outdated. Having said that, I was pleasantly surprised with the overall experience when the GF suggested that we eat here. We were seated quickly. The place was relatively full on a Thursday Night. The waitress was polite. The biscuits were pretty tasty. I had the 4-items deal where you get soup, salad, entrée and dessert. I had Clam Chowder(buttery), Caesar(fresh and not drowned with dressings), Salmon(soft and tasty) and brownie a la mode for $ 18.00. That was not bad at all. Was it amazing? No. Was the dining experience spectacular? No. Was it exactly what I had hoped it would be? Yes.

I went to this location with my sister, my sisters boyfriend and his sister tonight for dinner. Pros: We were seated quickly A waitress attended to us promptly and our food came in a timely fashion. Cons: From here, things went downhill quickly. While my sisters meal was decent, her boyfriend ordered lobster and got horrible food poisoning! He said later it tasted gamey. To add insult to injury, one of the gift cards that we tried to use(which were compensation for bad service at the Monrovia location) turned out to be a dud. We were so embarrassed about it that we spoke to the manager about the issue and he was at least nice enough to comp the rest of the bill. Needless to say we won’t be back. ETA: I got really really sick too.

Was honestly very surprised on how well our meal was here. We did the 4 course meal and got a delicious salad, soup, salmon and chicken Alfredo, and they come with a brownie desert. It was fairly cheap and well worth it. Everything we at was delicious and the red lobster bread rolls were unbelievable.

Red Lobster is always a yummy place to eat. I cannot remember ever having a bad meal from here. With that said, the food isn’t high end restaurant quality either. They have a good assortment of seafood and it is cooked correctly. This last time I have the plank grilled lobster with salmon and shrimp… Wow, it was amazing! I will definitely be returning for it.

I always used to come here and I remember that the presentation of their entrees used to be a lot better. They used wide dishes and didn’t cram all their food on one small plate like some cheap fast food place. Don’t get me wrong the food was still good but the service and presentation of food has significantly dropped as of late. Everything felt rushed to me

I haven’t been to Red Lobster for perhaps 20 years and when I said I wanted to come here for Christmas Eve dinner while visiting in LA, my family laughed. Well, it looks like I got the last laugh this time ’cause everyone loved the fish platters. And those cheese biscuits! Plus I didn’t have to spend a fortune on dinner for a hungry crowd. True, it’s not a fancy place, but we were seated at a large booth and were able to relax and enjoy each other’s company. The service was fast and friendly. The illustrated menu makes it easy to choose exactly what you want. Actually, you could say it made it difficult to order because everything looked amazing. When our plates arrived, we were not disappointed. The meals came with healthy options as sides like brussels sprouts, salads and asparagus. The veggies were cooked perfectly as was the abundant portions of delicious crab, shrimp, and, of course, lobster. We joked about the amount of butter for dipping that came in a bowl on everyone’s plate. Among all of us, there had to have been over a pound of melted butter. But the shell fish was seasoned nicely and very tender. All I needed on mine was a squeeze of lemon. So good! Bang for the buck, this was an amazing night out.

First time coming to a Red Lobster ever and I was hooked. I came here to try something very different than what I usually eat since my late lunch at home today was very disappointing, I know my lunch has nothing to do with lobsters, but I gonna say something about it. For that, I get to have something very nice for dinner to finish up the first day of 2016. They have some great and delicious food including some stuff I’ve barely eat nowadays. I ordered the lobster tacos which includes rice and an side salad. I’ve also ordered an cup of lobster bisque soup. Lets start with the lobster bisque, it was a hot, fresh, creamy, and delicious. Salad was very good too. And now the lobster tacos, I really love the idea of having lobster meat in the tacos. That’s an first for me to check out. I have to say that the tacos was awesome and it has some good kick to it. Not kidding at all. Service: Josselyn(Server) was very polite this whole time I was here. Love this server! She made my night a lot better. Price: Based on what I had for dinner, came out to be about $ 25. Red Lobster can be expensive though, but I didn’t go crazy just yet, so I got lucky. Overall: This place is so good. I’m giving this place an 5 stars. Well done Red Lobster, I’ll be coming back here soon. Great way to start this New Year. ~Thanks for reading!!!~ –Christopher M aka Mr. Elite–

Really bad. Crab had no taste, and not much meat. Scallops were ok. Roasted brussel sprouts were fit for the garbage. Fried shrimp also tasteless. I kept putting butter on to get some taste out of anything, and needed to eat the day old cheese rolls to fill up. Also, they’re still serving iceberg«lettuce» in salads. That passed muster in 1980, but not in this century. Red Lobster has simply not grown up with the rest of us. We know that most chains get their food from a Sysco truck, but the successful chains disguise it. Red Lobster never bothered to learn how. This location survives due to residual traffic from the mall.

Been having lunches here with friends for years. Lately I’ve noticed that the flavors have become quite bland. The shrimp scampi has no flavor at all! I’m not sure how they can do that but I guess if try hard enough you can take the flavor out of anything! I’ve brought it up a number of times but I guess no one’s listening. I will probably go back but it will much less often. On a bright note our server, kathy, was wonderful! This girl was one of the best that I’ve ever had! We had better service then I’ve had at high end restaurants!!! Well done!!!

Very first time in any Red Lobster, and was impressed. I mostly went for my boyfriend, he loves seafood, me not so much. Their menu has good options for the non seafood life, and excellent options for the seafood lover obviously. Our waiter was very nice, even while it was crowded(we had a 40 min wait on a Friday evening) he made sure we were well stocked on our drinks and bread. The bread. The famous cheese bread I had heard of was more amazing than I could have thought. It melted in my mouth, I could have eaten that all night, but instead we both ordered the 4 course deal. More for than I could handle, but not enough for my boyfriend. He ordered the endless shrimp as well, and I eventually tried it, not bad! The only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is because I dread seeing the lobster in the tank, just waiting for their fate. I know it’s all part of life and they are there because it is what the restaurant is famous for, but damn, gets me the gut everytime.

I’ve only ever come to eat at a Red Lobster for their all you can eat special, Endless Shrimp. My two favorite flavors are the garlic scampi and wood fire grilled. The shrimp they use are pretty small, smaller than the usual cocktail shrimp so don’t expect something that you would get at a Vegas buffet. The first round of Endless Shrimp comes with a salad and a couple of sides. For some reason their string beans and rice pilaf always tastes a bit off. I still can’t put a finger on it. Their cheddar bay biscuits are pretty tasty, but eating them will definitely cut into the number of shrimp that you’ll be eating. Service is usually pretty good at this location. The waitstaff have always been friendly and quick. The parking lot is pretty huge and located in the Brea Mall parking lot, so finding a parking space should never be a problem.

The food is decent for what it is but the hostess seated a large and very loud group extremely close to our party of two so needless to say our lunch conversation was non existent. We amused ourselves by looking at the two flies that were buzzing around our food. We asked for the manager who was totally inefficient in addressing our complaints, making excuses for the hostess and telling she would call pest control(?) to address the flies. Basically since our meal was almost over, she said it was our fault that she couldn’t help us because we didn’t let her know earlier about the problem. Can’t believe they pay her to manage the restaurant! What happened to customer service? We told her we would not return and she didn’t seem too bothered by that. I guess she figures she has enough customers who like flies.

My first and last time going to Red Lobster. My trip to Red Lobster started after I saw the commerical for pretty much an all you can eat endless shrimp deal. It seemed too good to be true for the price they were charging. and it was too good to be true. The size of the shrimp were no bigger than a

Unilocal challenge 20155⁄365 update Slippery Shrimp Slippery Shrimp Sliding on our table Slippery Shrimp Slippery Shrimp Oh no, its been eaten by a Chicken Breast, chicken breast Oh no it was eaten by a Sirloin steak, sirloin steak Oh no, duh dunt duh dunt It was swallowed by a Lava Cake Oh No is right!!! And the only thing doing the swallowing was us. Located in the Brea mall vacinity in the back lot somewhere with plenty of parking. Now, if your a seafood snob or steak lover, who enjoy dropping $ 100 a plate, you may not find your match here. If your into a solid meal under $ 30-$ 40 a plate, then you will find your match. Or a cheap date like me who digs $ 15 chicken dinners. We have always been pleased here with food and service. We started off with some of those cheesy bisquits. Followed by an appetizer of mozzarella sticks with maranara sauce. Out came our salads, along with more bread. I opted for the house salad with a blueberry basalmic dressing. It was very sweet, but fresh grounded pepper complemented the sweet dressing nicely. Finally our entrees arrived. I ordered the maple glazed chicken with rice and mashed potatoes. The sauce was sweet and simple and my potatoes nice and creamy. The beast had a create your own combo with fried shrimp, steak and rice. The steak was cooked perfectly, medium well. Since we were already full we decided to get the Lava cookie topped with ice cream. Why not. The cookie was just okay. It was more cake like than cookie and filled with chocolate. A little on the dry side, maybe cooked a minute to long. But we finished it quickly. I even made a video of it. Tawney, our server was amazing and executed one of the best experiences in a while. From the moment we sat down, till the moment we left, her service was right on target, appearing right when we hit the last sip on our drinks, to the moment we needed more maranara sauce or extra bread. As we were eating I joined the email club and scored a free coupon for a appetizer or desert up to $ 12.00. They honored my email and credited our bill for our desert. Dinner for 2, with lemonade, appetizer, salad, 2 entrees with our free desert coupon cost us $ 54.00. Plus tip. 5 star service for sure. Solid 3.5 to 4 stars for food and price. We are fans, and will return. Updated review 2015
