I am so surprised that there is only one other review for this salon on Unilocal.I found this salon through the naturallycurly dot com website where he has more reviews. And another tip, when searching for curly salon and Doug, you may come up with Salon 5150. That’s the wrong Doug. Anyhow. I came here December of 2014 and have extra long hair. The Deva cuts as you know take about 90 – 120 minutes, especially if you have long hair like me. Dough was great about teaching me how to style my hair and what products to use even if they weren’t Deva products. I just wanted a trim and I got it. I was happy with my cut and have been wanting to come back but accidentally made an appointment with Doug at Salon 5150, not a Deva Cut. Needles to say, I live in San Francisco where Deva Cuts charge by the minute and Doug’s prices were way more affordable. Which is why I travel from San Francisco just to get my haircut done here (while visiting family). I will be coming back soon.

Doug cut my hair last week and it’s so easy to style on my own that I just love it. Today was a color touch up (roots) and I left more than satisfied. If you are looking for a stylist that truly knows how to cut curly hair, try this studio.
