Love this place. Ahi Crunchi salad my favorite salad Ever !!! The service is amazing and is always clean sometimes a little loud but I can handle that just because of the great food

** I normally don’t write elaborate reviews, or even reviews of such. If I could, give this place negative reviews. I wrote them through their corporate website about the shit service I had, no reply so here’s to Unilocal! Came to eat one night with a friend, I was told the wait was gonna be about 15 – 20 minutes. They give me a pager and I ended up waiting for almost an hour… Like seriously? Apparently they forgot to ring me, and I only found out because I went up to the host table to see what was up. Ok cool whatever. wasted my time. Get to our table order some beer and appetizer… the beer shows up about 20 minutes after we ordered(yeah at this point i’m keeping time). Like seriously? 20 minutes to pour 2 beers? It wasn’t even that busy… Then our appetizer comes out, was some sort of seafood dip, sadly it was as cold the shoulder they gave me. You could tell the cheese was supposed to nice and warm and gooey, but naw man. cold as my ex’s heart. I was about to complain but my date just told me to not to. So I didn’t. Then comes my soup. Ordered the french onion soup, and guess what?! COLDAS F*CK. The cheese on there was colder the beer. not to mention the room temp soup I got. This I complained about, switched to chicken noodle soup, it was just as disappointing. Honestly you’re better off somewhere else. really isn’t worth waiting for crap service and mediocre chain food.

Place is predictable. Got the salad and soup, they finally got it right and sent it HOT! Service was good except for the girl that would bring the dishes would just throw them. Too tired to care so we just let it go. Wife order the crème brûlée and they brought us the wrong one. Oh, well. They have stepped up their service from last time. Good to see.

This Yardhouse is by far the best Yardhouse I’ve ever been to. I’ve been coming to Yardhouse since the beginning. They have fallen since they sold their shares. But this Yardhouse by far knocks all other YH out of the park. The service is impeccable. The food, always right, always hot, and always served with a smile. I literally drove out is my way to come to this YH. They truly need to train other YH’S about customer service, and food quality. Way to go Yardhouse Brea! Thank you for being awesome!

Stellar service, delicious food. My Jambalaya was perfectly prepared! Overpriced for the tiny 5 ounce happy hour drinks @$ 10 each… ouch! But, we had a blast Thursday night with our cute, fun-loving waiter. Will definately be back≠P

Heather our waitress was amazing! Attentive and very friendly. There needs to be more Heather waitresses out there. I’m disappointed the Yard House has discontinued the dark beer Golden Draak which I hear is now available at Vons(Bevmo too I’m sure). There is a light beer which tastes exactly like fruity pebbles(seriously) that is awesome. Visit during happy hour(4 – 6) and save some $$.

I went here today for my post birthday lunch with some friends and I’ve been wanting to eat here for a while now. Since the Long Beach location had the Grand Prix going on and didn’t wanna deal with bad traffic we went here instead. Their menu is huge so it took us a while to figure out what to order but we did get started on their lobster, crab and artichoke dip appetizer. It came with pita bread slices and tortilla chips. We all liked it a lot. I decided to get their rib eye and shrimp entrée since my friend told me he’s ordered it before and said it was pretty good. I was having a hard time between the steak or getting a seafood entrée. Well I’m glad I went with his recommendation because I did enjoy my meal. My only complaint about the entrée was their broccolini. It would’ve been nice if they cut it in half since the steak knife that was provided wasn’t that great. I really did enjoy the sauce that came with it and the 3 huge shrimp on a skewer was nice too. The mashed potatoes were ok nothing too memorable and I didn’t get the grilled tomato and why it was served with it. My friends ordered the southern fried chicken breast and the other got the spicy jambalaya with noodles. Both said their dishes were fine. I also ordered a blended strawberry margarita which was ok but I’ve had better ones elsewhere. Our server was Brynn. I thought she did a fantastic job on taking care of us today and I appreciated it. Food, atmosphere, service were all on point. Definitely will be back again.

Wow Yard House. surprisingly impressed me last night. Obviously everyone knows the beer menu is pretty extensive. I got to drink one of my favorites Leinekugels Sunset Wheat(fruit pebbles beer) if you never tried it I suggest you do. But the main star was the food! Truffle fries to start were pretty good and my main entrée the spicy seafood and sausage jambalaya was bomb! I’ve had authentic bomb ass jambalaya gumbo and all that when I was in Louisiana so I know good cajun food and this jambalaya was actually really good. I’ll definitely come back to Yard House to grab some food and beer in the future as well. The bad ratings always made me not want to go but hey cant impress everyone.

Located in very nice area of Brea. The restaurant is large and spacious with plenty of seating available. The staff was attentive and friendly and the Menu are filled with plenty of good option to choose from. Ordered Items: Chicken and avocado Burger, Michelada, Queso dip appetizer and the ice cream trio platter for dessert. We first started with an appetizer which was the queso dip. The cheese was a bit too chunky and they only served it with about 5 chips to come along with it. The display was not appealing and not proportionate to the amount of cheese. There was too many cheese and only a few chips. Next, I ordered a michelada which was not good. It was just a beer with salt and lemon on the glass rim. It didn’t contain any tomato juice or the bloody mary mix. It was plain and not good. The chicken and avocado burger was my favorite item. It was served with plenty of fries and a side of ranch. The burger was pretty large and filled with plenty of avocado. The chicken burger has to be in my top 5. The dessert was a it too sweet, but also good. Overall, the experience was nice but I had higher expectation for the food. The atmosphere and the location deserve a 5 but the food could’ve been a bit better.

Atmosphere: larger style Yard house, booths, tables and bar available. Orders items: happy hour queso, lidmens, grilled cheese and tomato bisque and dessert trio. We were nicely greeted when we walked in and found our group quickly. Once we sat the service was slow. Once we ordered some drinks, it also took a while to get to the table. We ordered some apps and our entrees at the same time. Shortly after the queso arrived, I was not a fan. It was extremely greasy and had a bunch of green peppers just thrown at the bottom and the chips and tortillas services with it was not in proportion. In the middle of this I asked our server for a glass of water 3 separate times and it took the third time for him to actually bring it over, and with that water I didn’t get a refill as I would of liked. Then the grilled cheese and soup came out within a couple minutes a of that, also SUPER greasy. I was face deep in my soup and there was a large club of oil in the middle of that. Grease aside, I still ate it. I was a big fan all together of this meal. But the dessert trio was amazing! I loved the chocolate cake was amazingly warm and chocolatly.

Old reliable … I have been to this location and several others dozens of times and maybe once was the food off. I live very close to this location and even had my first date with my wife here. I’ve taken my mom and sister and in laws and friends and always enjoy myself. I like the layout, the music, the games on tv the staff, the patio and the overall comfort. They have a great selection of beer and liquor so it’s perfect for watching games or just drinking and apps with buddies. Favorite menu items include the seared ahi, fantastic tortilla soup, orange chicken and turkey cheese jalapeño sandwich. But I have tried lots of stuff here and liked almost everything. I’m sure some people could get bothered by the parking situation and long waits but I walk there and don’t go on busy Friday nights. Keep up the good work oh and Jeffrey is a great owner!

I came here on a Wednesday night for dinner with my boyfriend. The parking lot right behind the restaurant was crowded but you can also park in the structure across the street. The restaurant was pretty busy for a week night. We came here at 6:30, so missed out on early Happy Hour specials(ends at 6pm and starts again at 10pm on week nights). We were greeted right away and seated at a comfy booth. The waitress came right away to give us the menu. For drinks my bf and I tried two dark beers(sorry forgot the names). For appetizers we ordered the onion ring tower. I love their batter for the onion rings. It was very light and crispy and deep fried to perfection. I ordered their Buffalo wings(10 pcs). There was nothing spectacular about the wings. My bf ordered a sandwich that came with a sweet and tangy dipping sauce which helped flavor the bread and sandwich. Overall the drinks and food were good and the atmosphere was very lively. It’s a good place to go with your date or a group of friends.

My usual go-to’s are their Truffle Fries and their Jambalaya made with Spicy Jasmine Rice. The fries are always consistently good-crispy but overcooked with just the right amount of truffle to each fry. Their Jambalaya is always consistently good as well. The sauce had the perfect level of heat with a good amount of peppers, sausages and crawfish. It also came with 2 giant shrimps on top as well which were very juicy but a bit salty for my taste. I would definitely recommend getting the Jambalaya, it has such a huge kick of flavor and you can choose noodles or rice. It’s a bit pricey but the food is good. If you’re wanting to munch on appetizers, check out their happy hour :)

Visited this location on a Sunday evening, I was expecting it to be packed due to it being a 3 day weekend and it being DTB, but it was not. There was no wait time for us, but I did see that larger groups were waiting to be seated. The service was good and the host and waitress were very kind. I love the dim lighting in this place, it’s easy on the eyes and it sets a good ambiance. Service was prompt, all drinks/appetizers and meals were brought out in a good timely manner. Drinks: They have a wide variety of taps, and mixed drinks or wine. I had a Citrus Crush. I am a Vodka Tonic type of girl, but I opted out from my usual selection and tried something new. It was pretty good. Lemon vodka, monin mojito and fresh mint. Good amount of vodka, so it was balanced. My friend had an Uinta Detour Double IPA … gross in my opinion. Appetizers: Shiitake Garlic Noodles and an Ahi Poke bowl. Shiitake Garlic Noodles: Very tender and slithered well from the fork to your mouth and beyond. Very flavorful, but if you don’t like garlic then I would stay away. Luckily we both are garlic lovers so this was a perfect starting dish. Ahi Poke Bowl: Marinated raw ahi, avocado, carrots, daikon radish, macadamia nuts and crispy wontons. Tasted very fresh, and was full of flavor. It was a perfect mix and it went very well paired with the Shiitake Garlic Noodles. Grilled Korean Pork Belly tacos. I am not sure what I was expecting, but I was expecting more. The tacos were tiny, and I think they held back on the kimchi. It was a bite size tease. I was disappointed. So if someone wants a bite of your taco, they will leave you with nothing. I am not saying not to share, but well. yeah. just don’t. I speak from experience, my taco was bitten into and I was a little sad, like«you probably took all the kimchi» is what I thought. The beans were good though, they had yummy cheese drizzled on them. The spicy rice was okay, not spicy IMO and salty, but I like salt. Orange Peel Chicken I stole a few bites of this. The presentation was messy looking, but the chicken was pretty good. It was a good portion, I wouldn’t say it’s a sharing size meal, but it doesn’t hurt if you do. The chicken was tender and the orange glaze was just right, combining it with a few bites of brown rice it makes for a tasty meal. Dessert doesn’t make it on the picture because I had candy in my purse and that was my dessert. Overall this place is nothing out of the ordinary. I think next time I will just get items from the appetizer section. It’s cool for groups, or one on one time. It is also next to a theather so you can always go watch a movie before or after. Parking: Located in the back area(no charge) Pricing: Affordable dishes range from $ 9– $ 20ish Customer Service: Great Clean location Variety of drink options XOXO B

I love coming here for their truffle fries !!! Sometimes the service here can be a hit or miss but it definitely a good environment for variety of foods and birthday celebrations. Foods I recommend: Lettuce crunch wrap: If you looking for something on the lighter side this is the best ! The chicken is moist and the specialty sauces it comes with adds the topper to this appetizer. Chicken nachos: This is a great starter to share because the portion of this is enormous ! Truffle fries: This is a must, I order this item every time I come here. I would also substitute the regular fries to truffle fries Truffle burger: One of my favorite go to burgers here. Although they have recently changed the bun to this entrée, which made me sad. The old bun was definitely much more appetizing. The new bun is like the ones you buy at the store for bbqs.

The Yard House never disappoint! I’ve been to a lot of Yard House location and I am always pleased with food and service. I noticed the restaurants nearby were empty while Yard House was pretty busy on a weekday and that’s a good thing. Parking located at the back of the restaurant. Ample parking. Service was great. We were greeted with a smile and was seated right away. Our server was nice and attentive, and she gets 5 stars for calling me «hot» ^_^. We had… –CALAMARI– We always get calamari. I like the portion, the breading was crunchy and calamari was tender, but It was just a tad bit oily for me. I’d still get it again though. –FISH and CHIPS — El Hubby enjoyed it. Batter was crunchy and fish was flaky and firm. It was delicious with the malt vinegar. It came with 2 kinds of sauces and a side of skinny fries. Just like the calamari, the fries we’re a tad bit oily. –LOBSTERGARLICNOODLES $ 22– Yuuuummmmy!!! I’ve had it once before and it was just as delicious as I remembered. Lots of shrimp, shredded real crab meat and some lobster meat. It had a strong seafood and garlic taste. Very heavy on the tummy. I was very satisfied. They have a huge selection of beer. El Hubby had 2 kinds and I don’t remember their names, but he said they were good ^_^. I’d come here again in a heartbeat!!!

I usually come to this location for celebrations with my fraternity family dinners. they are always nice is accommodating our huge group! I’ve been to other yard house locations and let me tell you i think this delivers the best on service and food quality. my only recommendation is to come during HAPPYHOUR! omg literally such good food, large quantity at extremely affordable prices! happy hour times(food priced at $ 5,6,7,8): monday-friday 3:00 — 6:00pm sunday-wednesday 10:00pm-close some of my favorites: –onion ring tower($ 5): BESTTOSHAREUGH so good!!! comes with two dipping saucing and perfectly cooked onion rings –chicken frachos($ 7): OFFTHEMENU… technically its chicken nachos but instead of nachos get FRIES! same price and even more delicious. i was recently introduced to this and was blown away. the side of the platter for $ 7 is mind-blowing. could feed 4 people that are HUGE eaters. theres LOTS of chicken as well as topping to come with. HIGHLYRECOMMEND –classic sliders($ 8): comes with four basic sliders with cheese with lots of fries on the side. i love sliders so these are always cooked to perfection. they are basic but i like basic so get the sliders if you’re not looking for something crazy COMINGBACKSOONFORSOMEFRACHOS!!!

So this week’s Happy Hour took us the Yard House in Brea. I suffered through everything traffic threw at me, from Irvine to Brea in 75 minutes on a Friday at 4pm! But made it here at 5.15pm and quickly put in a name to try and make it before the end of their 6pm happy hour! Parked in the back(with veryyy limited parking spots b/c of valet parking) Had a wait for about 5 – 10 minutes(pretty fast actually) and got seated. Our server came quickly and asked us if we could get anything to drink. I knew I wanted the fruity stuff today. I believe it was an angry orchard cider(mhm). It tastes sweet(which is good) but the flavor was just alright for me: P Then came everything else. Appetizers Moo shu egg rolls:($ 5). They were interesting. They had the deep fried exterior, and the cream cheese in it made it enjoyable. There were only 2 egg rolls(sliced in half) and then a lot of crunch stuff on the bottom, which made it «seem» big. It’s a good price for happy hour, but regular price? Yikes. Chicken nachos– The chicken, bland like it usually is): But you have guac and beans and sour cream and cheese and salsa. Take out the chicken, everything else tastes amazing. Make sure that your chips get enough dip! You’ll love it! And for $ 7? You’ll think it were a steal! Ham and pineapple pizza($ 6) — Bigger than BJs, but sadder looking and looked like it had just come from one of those freezer boxes. And one of the sides wasn’t even cut .____. Don’t get, don’t try. I’ll try the onion rings next tho. It looks fun! Good service, as the servers come by regularly to check up on you. The only thing is when it gets dark outside(530pm in November), it’s still dim inside so it’s hard to see. … or am I going blind?

Popping location! It’s located in downtown brea and I loveeee downtown brea! Our waitress was really nice. If we didn’t get our food and drinks out on time, she’d personally get it for us. We asked to sit outside because it was super loud inside(although outside was boiling hot so probably not a good choice.) The patio area is huge! I love it! They have parking right behind the restaurant which I had no clue about so I parked across the street in the structure. We started with the calamari. It was really oily, super disappointing! I’ve never had oily calamari and I’m not a fan! I got the half Mac and cheese without bacon and with pastrami. I love pastrami and with the Mac and cheese it was on point! My sister got a shrimp street taco which she enjoyed and fries and my friend got the surf and turf burger which she devoured! Most of the food is always lovely at the yard so can’t complain! My friend and I also got the Riesling which was amaze as always! My sister got a black tea something drink and she liked it too. Keep making me smile yard!

We just left Yard House a while ago and this time my visit here was a fabulous 5 stars! Service, ambiance and food was excellent. I didn’t know Yard House had a happy hour on the food until the server mentioned it. Our meal was 53 for 4 people including an appetizer. We chose chicken egg rolls as an appetizer, at least I think that’s what my daughter ordered? It was delicious, came with a dipping sauce and served really pretty. I ordered a chopped salad, I’ve added a picture so you can see how nice it is, something I recommend if youre watching what you eat. We had wonderful early dinner and plan on coming back for more.
