I’ll preface this review by saying Debra is awesome. She provided fantastic customer service and was very knowledgeable about the shoe inserts I needed to buy. She made sure I got exactly what I needed. My experience at this store was excellent.

I’ve been a customer of this store for 12 years now and have never had a problem until I tried to return a defective hoodie that was a Christmas present for my husband. He wore it once and the first time he washed it the zipper broke off. When I called the store I was told they would exchange it if they had the product available. When I visited the store I was told completely different. I was given a form to call North Face warranty department and deal with it on my own even though I noticed they had a replacement hoodie on the rack. I now have to send the item directly to North Face, pay the postage to do that, and wait 3 weeks to get it back. I will not shop at North Face in Breckenridge again due to the POOR customer service. It makes it hard to promote shopping small business and supporting our local families & economy when this is how a customer is treated.

I just got off the phone with the owner of the North Face store on Main St, Susan, who lacks professionalism and the ability to run a business. I spoke to her twice on the phone and I thought I was talking to someone who had little interest in working there. Once she revealed herself to be the owner, I was speechless and just hung up, knowing that she made it clear that she could not solve my problem. I just hope my package arrives so that I don’t have to call the store again. If I was the owner, I would be embarrassed by how I handle customer service, the lack of enthusiasm of how to deal with any problems that arise. It is not good for her business and certainly not good for the brand. And yes, I will let the corporate office know of her actions or lack of.

Incredibly friendly and helpful service! We were greeted warmly upon entering and told to let them know if we needed help. I asked if they carried women’s flannel shirts, after determining their winter boot selection(my actual mission) was pretty sparse. The saleswoman promptly showed me a few, and after not seeing my size in one I liked she was quick to go in the back to get my size. Unfortunately, I didn’t love it, and for $ 65 you better love it, but she was gracious and understanding. Decent selection of everything from coats to clothes to ski goggles. Worth checking out while shopping for your winter needs.

I visited this store two weeks ago on the the weekend of March 26 – 27. Got a great Ski backpak on sale, and went the next day to buy some more things for my wife and store had a sign that said closed for remodeling. I had great service, but not sure why not announce things like this to customers. ahead of time.

When you’re skiing and lose or forget some of your gear in Breck check out this store. Independently run, the service here was topnotch the three times I had to stop by. Also, for a small store by Texas standards they carried a huge selection of merch. I will also say that I’ve never owned anything North Face before and only based on the recommendation of a family member did I go here and buy, I will say the hype lived up to her recommendation. The only con I can say of this store was they didn’t take AMEX. I know the deal with the higher fees, but I like my points dammit.

Don’t know where these guys are coming from, but not only is this a true The North Face Store, but it’s one of 35 Summit shops which carry special The North Face products that not everyone can carry. We’re what’s called a partner store. We are privately owned but partner with The North Face in offering products that only The North Face company uniquely offers tried to click in as owners, but hopefully this will help. Please go to and if you click in on the middle of the home page you can take a virtual tour of our shop. Looks like Rick R., the local, should give us a little more info as to why he believes what he wrote. Not sure what happened with Kay B. Maybe you were having a bad day. Considering that we own the Columbia store in town and a ski wear outlet store, The Main Street Outlet, where we sell all major brands, we welcome everyone. Wish that we could have a chance to speak to you Kay… sorry that you had a bad experience, but how about giving us another opportunity to see if we can help you. We’ve won all kinds of local awards for customer service, so folks give us a chance rather than going by these reviews and see for yourself.. and Kay and Rick how about giving us another shot and let us try to fix what you’re not happy about. don’t get me wrong, north face stuff rocks, but never ever in my life have i felt so unwelcome in a store just because i wasn’t wearing their product! please! as if i’m going to buy anything after you’ve glared at me, then proceeded to greet the next north-face-toting customer with a, «oh HELLO welcome to NORTHFACE how can i HELPYOU.» no thank you.
