Five stars for this location. I have eaten there several times. Went tonite with the wife. The food was good… the service was excellent. Out server tonite was Vahn. She was very pleasant and very efficient. Wish we were all like that. They showed a roast beef au jus on the menu but was out of the ingredients. I was disappointed but hey… I’m at THE place for chicken and dumplings… so I was happy.

Worse dining experience I have ever had anywhere. It started with a 25 minute wait to be seated. Once we were seated our server was totally atrocious. The server forgot most of the food we ordered. The food that was brought to the table became cold as we waited for our other food to arrive. We sat there with empty glasses as she did not bring or offer refills. Some of the food was not cooked properly it was still raw. I could go on and on. Manager tried to make it right by taking care of our bill. I will never dine in this establishment ever again.

Cracker Barrel is a good place for a country breakfast. Good service, good food, clean restaurant.

Horrible facility and service. Poorly managed. Bathrooms were disgusting, service was very poor. No refills, no attentiveness at all. Go on to Douglasville or Anniston. They will be worth the wait

On the way home from our road trip, we decided to visit Cracker Barrel. Neither one of us had been in years. We had been driving for hours and needed a bit of a break. We also hadn’t eaten all day, so we wanted a full meal. G ordered the meat loaf. He almost always orders meatloaf anytime we go out if it is on the menu. It was good. We both ordered the same sides of okra, greens, and mac n’ cheese. The okra was nice and crispy. The greens had a good flavor and plenty of meat. The mac n’ cheese was just ok. It wasn’t the oven baked kind. We also had corn bread. It was good, not sweet at all. I prefer the non sugar version. For my main dish, I had the chicken fried chicken topped with sawmill gravy. The gravy was good, as was my meat. Cracker Barrel is a good staple, especially for chain restaurant home cooking.

Food was good. Out in short order. Had the meatloaf and the turnip greens were excellent.

Very impressed with this Crackerbarrel. They have cute merchandise as always in the store. We stopped while traveling at about 745pm on a Saturday night. We were seated quickly and greeted by our server, Christian. He was polite and appropriately attentive throughout our meal. He offered us a to-go plate and to-go drinks at the end of our meal. Our food was brought quickly after ordering and piping hot. The food was delicious.

So I don’t normally love southern food but Cracker Barrel knows how to chicken-fry a steak. You always know what you you’re going to get, and if you get it with a side of fried okra, all the better! In addition… Cracker Barrel has some pretty interesting stuff on the wall, a game at each table, AND one helluva gift shop out front, complete with books on tape for all your road tripping needs. The ol’ CB does country cookin’ right.

Had dinner last night with 10 friends from church. Sat at a long table. Waitress took drink orders from end of table. When she finally brought the drinks, she served them from the end of the table. Yes, we passed the drinks down the table. Same thing with the food order. My chicken livers were so overcooked and hard, i couldn’t eat them. I told the waitress. She brought me some more livers(after I had finished eating) and they weren’t much better. I showed them to the manager and she said, «Thanks, I will tell them to check the timer.», and she walked away. Seems like no one cares about service or quality of food.

I will give this place no stars if I could they will bugs in the turnip greens the food was cold the wait staff was really attentive and helpful my wife nearly threw up at the table the mail turn out to be free of charge do today infestation of a turnip greens how was highly recommend staying away from any vegetables are turnip greens on macaroni and cheese at this place due to the fact that it just seems like no 1 cares about the quality of the food although the manager was very helpful and nice after we pointed out the description with the food
