Took my parents to Anthony’s while they were out visiting and had a Lovely lunch there. Service and Food was Awesome. Everyone was very Pleased with the meal and surroundings~:D

Stopped here for dinner on our way back to Seattle and had a wonderful experience. My partner had the salmon and I had the ribeye steak. Both were very good with the salmon being the best I’ve ever tasted. The waitress was very nice and personable, and was knowledgeable about the area. Our table was along the tall windows and we had a nice view of the harbor.

I like Anthony’s at other locations, & this is good too. Not exciting but very good, very consistent, great location, excellent service. We enjoyed the Tuesday wine deal with our meal. I ate every scrap of the mildly odd signature heart of romaine salad (a half head of romaine presented whole topped with yummy blue cheese & hazelnut dressing) & we split a 10 oz steak with tempura prawns, both properly prepared, served nice & hot (even on the deck) with lightly cooked sweet pea pods. Perfect.

My wife and I had dinner here on a really busy Saturday night so I was wondering how the food and service would be, both were great. We had a very good waitress who was friendly and very knowledgable about the menu. At her suggestion we each had the seafood cioppino and it was excellent and very fresh. They had fresh in season strawberry shortcake so we took one to go, they put everything in separate containers for us so it wouldn’t get soggy, we had it later in our room and it was great also. This place is right on the water and the views are great from every table. Nice full bar with good selection of local drafts and tv to catch the game. Overall this is a great place to eat!

Mediocre food. Great setting and sea views.

The food was very good. The chowder served in bread bowl was excellent. BUT I am writing this review due to the character of the Manager John Canda.
I had notified the restaurant that I had left my Harley Davidson jacket at the bar. They said they had it but when I came to pick it up no one could find it. So, John, the Manager, said he would make it right and he did by purchasing a similar jacket. I was very impressed by the way he handled the situation and will be back to Anthony’s not only for the good food but for his and his staff’s fine service.

Absolutely delicious food with a beautiful view and excellent service. Definitely a great place for dinner. It isn’t terribly expensive, but will cost a bit (about $ 60 for a dinner for two), but completely worth it.

Food is ok. One thing I don’t understand is why it’s so cold inside, they set the temperature so low so soup and food get cold very fast. The chowder is salty but the shrimp BLT is good. My mussel and chip is ok, on the small side. Services is not good though, we are asked to wait outside for 20 mins eve though there are plenty of empty tables. I have to ask to fill hot water to avoid drinking cold tea.

The food was ok… the waitress was a bit rude and seemed like I had inconvenienced her on this sunny day with my business. I worked in the service industry for most of my life and I would never talk down to people. Good location good food service needs to be updated.

Don’t come late (after 8PM on a Monday) had the worst experience ever. Jaclyn was the slowest and just rude. Food was good but service sucked. Been coming here since they opened and 99% of the time it’s a good day. So unfortunate they have to have an excuse for everything.

Anthony’s at Bremerton is one of our favorite restaurants ever. The view is fantastic, the food is awesome, service is top notch, and we’ve never waited long to get a table and our food.
We arrived at 5pm on Easter Sunday and we were seated immediately. I ordered the Hawaiian Ahi Nachos while hubby ordered Alaska Tacos. My food had the perfect medley of flavors — a little kick from the ginger, sweetness from the mango, blending well with sesame oil. I’m not a wasabi fan so I skipped it but hubby said it was even better with the wasabi aioli. For dessert, we had Melting Chocolate Cake. It was ok, I’ve had better.
Overall, it was excellent as usual.

This review is based on my experience during the daily 3 – 7 happy hour. (My rating would drop one star based on the normal prices.)
Barbecued oysters on the half shell was delicious; very well flavored. The bartender said that March is oyster fest, so it was a great time to visit.
Clam chowder in the bread bowl was really good. Nothing to complain about with the chowder; the bread bowl was hot and crispy (excellent!).
Only real criticisms:
Even during happy hour, at $ 7.50/glass, the wine (Château Ste Michelle’s Sauvignon Blanc) was a bit pricey. Also tried Anthony’s own chardonnay; wasn’t a fan. It was overly sweet; not what I expected at all.

We used to frequent Anthony’s in downtown Bremerton often when we lived nearby, but we moved a lot farther away about five years ago, and don’t get to that side of town much.
However, my young (20) cousin and his girlfriend were visiting this past weekend and at Pike’s Market in Seattle, on Saturday afternoon, he dropped to a knee and popped the question! His mother and I knew it was going to happen, so when we all drove back to Bremerton we were so excited and wanted to celebrate. Called my husband and told him to make the reservation, which he did, for the five adults and three of our grandchildren which wasn’t our cup of tea but it was either take them or stay home.
We told our waitress right away what we were celebrating, and since the young couple was under drinking age I asked if they had a bottle of sparkling cider. At first she started to shake her head no, but hesitated and suddenly recalled that there «might» be a bottle in the basement. My hunch is that after checking with her manager, someone went and bought one. First class – beyond the call of duty.
And for the kids they brought s dish of cut up mango! Amazing. When the food arrived we had a bit of a problem with two of the dinners and immediately the servers took them away. She returned in about 10 minutes with new, perfect steaks. In the meantime, the manager appeared and was very apologetic, saying the meals were removed from the bill.
At the end, they presented the cousins with a dessert on the house. So. Five stars across the board. Well done.

I’ve always gotten good service, good food and great views. You can’t beat the deck overlooking Sinclair Inlet on a sunny day. They also have a great $ 10 menu for lunches; one of the best deals in town.

Great service, first of all which is always a good start to 5 stars. The view was great, right next to the water. We started with the cup of clam chowder and blue cheese and shrimp salad both of which were delicious. I had the Dungeness crab toast which was to die for! Rich and creamy but not too rich and the slaw complemented it well. You could tell that it was freshly made. My aunt ordered the fish and chips which she enjoyed and they looked crisp on the outside and tender and flaky on the inside. I got the molten chocolate cake with ice cream and raspberry sauce for dessert and my aunt got the cheesecake — both were delicious. I just found out they have a location in Edmonds also, much closer to where I live, so can’t wait to try!

Conveniently located steps from the Bremerton ferry terminal, a one-​hour sail from Seattle; ferry fare is a reasonable $ 8 round trip, $ 4 for seniors, though I believe these are going to go up slightly later this month. Airy, bright room with a Sound view from every seat. Decorated in light wood, rust and light blue. Open kitchen.
As befits the location, the menu is mostly seafood, plus a few other entries such as a burger, BLT, and teriyaki chicken.
Happy hour 3 – 7 daily, featuring a $ 6 bar burger, and some other specials at $ 7. Happy hour beers (see below) $ 3.50 or $ 4; $ 3.50 well drinks; wines by the glass at $ 5 to $ 7.50.
I ordered the Hawaiian ahi nachos; the waitress made sure I knew what I’d be getting into, since the dish really isn’t much like your conventional nachos. But I was delighted with what came out of the kitchen: an attractive presentation of five hexagonal taro chips topped with ahi sashimi, pineapple chutney, wasabi aioli, shaved ginger, and a chive garnish.
Anthony’s features an excellent selection of eight Pacific Northwest craft beers on draft, plus five bottles (including Bud Light and Corona, for the heathen). I tried two brews:
— Hood Canal Brewing Co., Kingston, WA, Bywater Bay ESB. Bright copper color, medium head. Weak hop nose. Taste mostly bittering hops, overwhelming the malt base. Strong «pencil shavings» note at the front; long, bitter fade. So-​so.
— Boundary Bay Brewing Co. IPA. Reddish copper, heavy head. Moderate bitter hop nose. Strong but not overwhelming bitter hop front, well-​balanced against the malt base. Long fade.

This was basically the only option we had since many other places were closed or didn’t have outdoor seating (we have a dog with us tonight), and the only other option was the Belgian fry place, which wouldn’t work since I’m gluten-​free. Clientele is the typical for these tourist seafood places, and so is the waitstaff (seasonal and young).
While our server was distant (we had to ask the food runner and busman to help us several times), the food was really good. Proportions were quite large, and on par for the price. Plating was somewhat plain, but that’s about what I expected; this isn’t a place with flair, instead it caters to the typical image of dock-​side semi-​upscale seafood (almost always populated by tourists).
The Chop Chop salad was recommended to me after requesting the Cobb and being informed that it was not gluten free. In fact, they have a menu specifically for individuals looking for gluten free options. And, astoundingly (and much to my surprise), our server offered for gluten free bread to be brought out alongside the regular bread! I haven’t had this experience at any restaurant other than gluten free-​specific ones.
We noticed that another server in our area was very active and involved, so I’m not taking too much off for that aspect of things. Though the busman and buswoman in our area were a bit goofy (if you’ve ever worked this position, you know why), they were very friendly and helped us when we needed. Beyond expectation, the food runner was very helpful and did his job quite well (and some of the others’ as well…). A star off for the times we waited or were unable to get anyone’s attention to get silverware, butter, ask questions, etc.
Surprised and happy, I would recommend this place if you visit the area!

Waitress was attentive, but I had to ask for a refill. Thus a ding. The bread was good. Halibut, salmon, clams, scallops were all excellent. Peach lemonade was good. New England clam chowder was delicious.

While I did have a good time here, the food wasnt great. Its in a seattle suburb, oysters should be mandatory. I was told they were out of season. Not sure what this meant. Ive been to oyster houses all over and 1 different one on this trip. Never was told that anywhere.
Next I got the calamari with a lemon aioli. The calamari was fried perfect. But the aioli was not great. Really watery in flavor and consistency.
The bartener was cool. We got a little loud at times and she just let us do our thing.

Good deal. Came here on a weeknight and got the Sunset Dinner menu before 6pm. 4 courses for a little under $ 30 including tip!
Walking distance from both the Hampton and Fairfield nearby, so don’t have to look for parking if you’re staying at either. Servers and hostesses are friendly. Service is a little slow – it might be a bit understaffed. But atmosphere is nice, and food was good for what it cost.
Salmon croccatini: good, crispy
Clam chowder: a little on the salty side
Northwest duet: pretty good. Looks small at first but definitely filling and tasty
Chocolate mousse: it was alright. Dessert is not their strong point.
I would come here again on that deal, I was stuffed silly. But if you’re looking for quality, it’s not the top of the totem pole.
