Denny’s

Went here for their veterans day special and wasted 2 hours waiting left without getting food because the guy in charge of the waiting list never called the name of our party and skipped us and when confronted about it he told us we would have to go to the end of the list thanks dennys for wasting half of my day all I wanted was a waffle but now it’s too late in the day to even do that

We only ate here because we stayed at the hotel behind it and breakfast ended at 9am and you got a 10% discount with your hotel key. It was one of the better Denny’s I ate at. Your typical Denny’s food. It was good, mediocre. The staff was great, very friendly and attentive.

Service was terrible. Waiter brought 5 adult cups for 2 adults and 2 kids with 4 straws. Prices have literally doubled in the past year. Cheaper to eat at almost any other breakfast place in town and you’ll get way better food and service. Don’t waste your time here.

Denny’s is our go-​to place for brunch whenever we feel lazy to cook. They serve hearty meals that always leave us more than satisfied. Their servings are huge which is good for us and our strong appetite.

Such poor service. Ridiculous. Waited over 20 mins before he even took our order. He was just way over worked by himself with such a big crowd. Sweating all over the place, poor man. The food, just the regular dennys, nothing special. Just wont get your food too fast. Plus he told us straight up that the fruit is old, not to get it.
Waited a total of 1h10 before we got our food.

Ok for breakfast can be pretty busy on weekends though. Service is decent most of the time.

In the past we enjoyed coming here. One waitress, Lordis is amazing and provides great service. The reason I am giving one star is because the past two times I came here I ordered a skillet with no cheese. Both times they covered it in cheese…

The food itself was delicious. However the service was terrible.
A woman brought us our drinks and when we tried to order she walked away. At a different table, the people asked a passing waitress for something. She snapped «I’m not your waitress,» then walked away. The woman who checked me out criticized my math and wouldn’t let me pay for my friend while she was in the bathroom.
Overall, I’m not happy with this establishment. In the future I’ll be traveling farther to visit a quality Denny’s.

Breakfast is pretty lame here. Go for a bacon burger with a chocolate Oreo milkshake and you’ll be right.
Seriously though. Have breakfast here if you want every other breakfast in life be better.

Me & my mother come here because they have this delicious salad. Cranberry Apple salad.
So we come here, normally the service isn’t too bad. Food comes out relitvly quick. This experience tonight wasn’t the greatest. They have one waitress to about 10 tables. We ordered nachos & our salad,
Nachos as an appetizer. When we finally got our order about 15 minutes after ordering it, we got our nachos with our salad.
Our nachos didn’t come with salsa or sour cream, or salad didn’t have the amazing honey roasted pecans on it that makes it delicious, on top of not even having the ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ spring mix the salad is supposed to be. We got our salad, realiZed the pecans weren’t on there, asked her for them. She said just a moment, took about 3−4mins then we asked the busser.
1. Why would they schedule one waitress?
2. Why wouldn’t they put in a food order before the salad runs out?
3. Why didn’t she inform us our salad wasn’t going to come with the pecans when we has asked her for them?
4. Why not put a order in for the nuts before they run out?
Obviously, poor management, I can’t be too mad at the waitress. It is just her, buuut. I know I could do better, I will be back.
Only because of the salad.

So I saw an advertisement for a biscuit & gravy breakfast… one biscuit & gravy, two eggs and hash browns… for $ 4. What a deal! Based on the reviews of this restaurant, I was extremely skeptical about trying out this Denny’s. It was fine. It was a dated restaurant, appeared fairly clean, and smoking is not allowed 25 feet from building. The two waitresses were friendly and service was fairly fast. I would go back and have the biscuit & gravy breakfast again.

Maybe we tried this location on a bad day, but for starters we had to walk through thick cigarette smoke just to enter the restaurant. Turns out it was our cook and other restaurant staff smoking right outside the entrance. When we complained, it fell on deaf ears. Our waitress was super friendly. So friendly that she made a little too much small talk. It was dead inside. Only one other table sat, and it took forever to get to order (mainly because our very friendly waitress was busy chatting up the other table). At least our food came out quickly. But it was greasy and they forgot our toast. We asked for ketchup. It never came. We asked for refills. They didn’t come. Neither did the toast. We asked again. The toast showed up after we requested the check. Never did get refills. I’m sure we’ll return to Denny’s again, but probably not this location.

Food was 3 stars, service is minus 1, bathrooms were disgusting. From the second we walked in our waitress — Tasha — was very rude. The place only had two other occupied tables but she took about 3 minutes to even say welcome to Denny’s while she worked on the cash register at the breakfast bar, then sat us down and walked off did not offer us a drink until about 15 minutes later. We told her then that we were ready to order and she said and I quote «actually the other table is about ready so how about you just order a drink for now.» REALLY I am not joking. So we asked for coffee and water, which she came back with about 5 – 10 minutes later and decided she was ready for us to order. My husband ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and a milkshake, I ordered the veggie skillet. She never came back around to even check on my coffee before our food came out 30 minutes later so I had to stir my coffee with my finger… (at this point I am wondering how they ever got that speed of service award they proudly display at their entrance.) When she did come back it was with our meals, she dumped mine right on top of the magazine I was reading — did not even apologize and proceeded to watch me tweak it out from under the skillet. We had to call her back for silverware — which she did not apologize for. The veggie skillet was scalding hot, burned my tongue — I am not complaining about hot food that is the way it should come out but scalding is a little much. Not one minute later she came back to ask us how our food was and I told her too hot to eat right now, she smirked and walked off (what has this woman got against us!!!) even her non-​verbals were rude. I plan on calling their manager about her tomorrow. When we were done she dropped off our bill — my husband still waiting on his milkshake decided not to bother with it at this point. We noticed she charged for coffee twice also. When we went to pay we told her the coffee was on there twice and he never got his shake — she actually had the NERVE to double check the table to make sure and then spotted it half made over by the kitchen and said «well I had started it but never got back to it,» to which I replied yeah he never got it and she said «I know I was just saying». She did not apologize for that until we were leaving and at that point it was obviously out of necessity, not sincerity. She is literally the worst waitress I have come across to date — if you have TASHA as your waitress LEAVE!

Came in here on my birthday for my free grand slam. Our waitress was great. Really friendly and attentive. Didn’t have a long wait for our food and it was fresh. Buttermilk pancakes had a great flavor. I got strawberry and whipped cream topping. Whipped cream was fresh, and real whipped cream. My hash browns were cooked perfectly. Crispy on the outside and had a great flavor. My sausage and bacon were also perfectly cooked.
I’ve also been going to Denny’s for years, and have been to them in several different states. The food here was good. Exactly what I expected from Denny’s, and I enjoyed my meal and my service. I’d definitely come back

If you are looking for food to simply serve its purpose then here ya go!
Not anything to write home about… your basic flavorless dishes. This is the second time I’ve been here, and both times I was one of two guests. Our waiter was pleasant, but the manager/​greeter left much to be desired.

Ate here at 4:15 on a Saturday afternoon after a hard workout session. It was my «carb up day» and I missed a meal already so I had to make up some ground to stay on par with my days nutrient needs. I got the fit fare slam, fit fare omelet and the fit fare veggie skillet. Yes I know, lots of food for one person. Welcome to my world!
Well I did finish it all so nothing was wasted. In fact I had it all down in about 20 minutes and that was pacing myself…
All was very good and flavorful! I love breakfast foods and this hit the spot for sure. Only catch was that it took 25 minutes for my food to come out despite the place being really dead at that time. Only saw one cook in the back and yet 4 servers out front? Oh well, maybe the extreme post lifting hunger I had coming in made the wait worse then it really was…
My whole meal minus tip was $ 26.50 which is high considering what you could pay to make this on your own… but hey, this time I did not want to make it myself, I just wanted to sit, order and be served. Mission accomplished!

Not so good service. When we got here, only 2 server working on a very busy Veteran’s Day. They should have hired more for this specific day to accompany a lot of customers coming in. Or maybe Im wrong and probably the server came in late but all i know Two tables ahead of us had been waiting for 10 minutes just for the silverwares. Imagined how long is the wait for a cup of coffee and for the foods.

Meh, it’s Denny’s. I don’t come here for the great fare. I come for the convenience and because they do a solid breakfast for relatively cheap.
I’m here about twice a month for a breakfast meeting. Bess is a fantastic waitress, she’s helpful, attentive and always takes good care of us.
The food is ok, its hard to screw up a couple eggs…

My husband and I enjoy Denny’s on occasion, but we will not be visiting this one again. Walking in, it felt run-​down and dirty and was nearly empty. The service was very slow w/​the waitress more interested in hanging out with her regulars than serving. We tried the chips and dip appetizer and the dips were cold and chips were stale. The food was just okay.
Now I know Denny’s isn’t the highest quality food, but we frequented some delicious, clean Denny’s when we lived in South Carolina. This place had dive written all over it.

I apparenlty can’t even eat the fries here… they are cooked in lard (according to th waitress). This means either she has no idea or that they really are. i’m pretty sure that they aren’t actually… but come on! lard? who does that?
Lame.
i’ve been here a few times and usually get ok service… not good, not bad… never amazing. the food i sub par… on a good day it’s generic diner food then again… it’s denny’s.
they are open 24 hrs… gotta give them credit for that. They have a bar… not totally hopeless. however, i am pretty sure i paid around $ 8 per shot of jäger which is kinda pricey not only for bremerton but mainly for the fact that we were at a DENNY’S!
this place is one of my lesser favorite denny’s locations that i have been to. oddly enough, i just realized that i have been to hella denny’s/shari’s (pretty much the same place) locations… huh…kinda gives you an odd sense of pride as well as shame.
