So not bad but not oh my god wow either. Worth it to go see at least once. Some moments and actors are better over others. Wait to get in isn’t bad at all and they put on a little show while you wait so gives to do. They also have it 5−6pm where the lights are on if you have kid who are younger who would like to go. Which is a nice option. Got my tickets on groupon for a good price.

It was pretty fun– some unique ideas… Don’t want to give it away. Here’s a hint-you wear magic glasses for part of it. Worth 12 bucks, easy. And the zombies don’t touch you :)

Kitsap Haunted Fairgrounds is where you will find Otis, an imposing man with a scarred, baldhead and Lester, a scumbag carnie with a greasy mullet. They live at the old barn on county property where they help care for the aged bearded lady, trimming and shaving any stray hairs she might have. It has been rumored that Otis and Lester are cannibals. Kitsap Haunted Fairgrounds has 3 venues. The first up is a live stage show with entertaining dancers before an impressive backdrop followed by a 3-D maze featuring bright colors and brilliant 3-D artwork. It sets the tone for an affable adventure. But next is the Old Barn where Lester & Otis live. Long dark mazes lead you into the gruesome, perverse and gory realm of carnie cannibals. The kitchen was stuff nightmares are made of and the attic deeply disturbing. Well set pneumatics, detailed scenes and fervent actors make this haunt astonishingly intense. Beware Bearded Lady. The final maze of metal fencing, blinding strobes and thunderous music was plagued with creatures that were no help in leading me out of its puzzling paths. For a family friendly adventure be sure to arrive before 6:00pm during the lights on tour. After that… well, just see if you can get through alive

Maybe I’m not the best person to go to for a review of a haunted house. I am not really into horror stuff, but my niece was in it so I went to support her. I would say that it’s not the worst haunted house I’ve been to, by far. As far as quality goes it’s ok. There are dancing zombies and most of the props don’t look too fake. The clowns are freaky– and there’s part that could induce seizures, but not terrible. I guess I would say it’s not really worth $ 12. 7, maybe 8 but not 12…(I’ve been accused of being cheap before) you can get a dollar off if you bring a can for the food bank, but seriously, you probably paid a dollar for that can, right? anyways… 3 stars
