Maybe I got a bad batch because the twists and maple filled donuts today 6÷21÷16 were chewy and not cooked thoroughly. Pretty sad because everyone recommends this place and I have been here more than a handful of times. Very disappointed when I got home and tried to enjoy my donut. Took a bite and the donut stuck together, very chewy texture, almost pretzel-like. Will stick to stomach.

Always great customer service, great baker and the perfect donuts; fluffy, chewy middle with slight crisp edges and topped with sweet goodness! But get there early, they go fast! Cash only.

Best Doughnuts I’ve had in years!!! After being vastly disappointed at the bakery that has the pink cake,(seriously how has that place lasted?) I decided to give Larry and Kristi’s a try. I’m a Southern lady, well traveled in the US and always try the local bakeries in every town I visit or move to. These are classic old fashioned flavored doughnuts of my childhood. I do wish the oil was a better quality, left an odd film and flavor like some fast food chain french fries do, BUT they were so good, I don’t care! Perfect nutmeg flavor in the cake and the little crunch on the outside, omg! The yeasts are chewy and soft like Krispy Kreme, but better. This will def be my go to bakery while I’m living on the Kitsap pen. Thank you ladies, for an outstanding job! Get there early, they sell out! I was the first one in at 4:30 am and people started tricking in while I was ordering and on FB they’ve posted selling out by 11 am. Don’t bitch! This is very common in good bakeries and they can’t just make more(to long to explain). Also, many bakeries still only accept cash, so I know to always take bills to a bakery. Duh… lol :)

Great donuts, breakfast bars, and cookies. People were very friendly. Donuts are made once a day and had about 5 left around 10am. Get there early and bring cash. They only accept cash and check. Good selection of drinks too.

SUPER friendly people here. They were patient with me when I was trying to figure out what to buy. I love the old school mom and pa stores it feels like the doughnuts are all made with love. You need to get here quickly or else all the good doughnuts are sold ! Well worth it.

Fantastic donuts and fritters. The staff isn’t very friendly however. They only accept cash though. Also they have these delicious blueberry donuts. SoOoOoOoOoO good. They are limited edition though. There is no better donuts in Kitsap County however. For all other baked goods I recommend Sluys’ but for donuts and fritters look no further.

I’ve had donuts from this bakery a few times, and I’m still amazed when I bite into one! They’re quite literally the best donuts I’ve ever had. The fritters are my favorite and are definitely a must have(apple and blueberry!) There’s something about the texture that makes these donuts so unique and stand out from all the other donuts. The first and second time I had donuts from this bakery, they were brought into work by coworkers. Finally, I decided I needed to check this place out for myself and walked out with a dozen. Definitely hit this place up early, as they sell out quickly(no surprise there) and make sure to bring cash. I can’t wait to go back soon! I’ll post pictures next time :)

The best doughnuts without question. Love this place. Super friendly and local. Everybody loves this place so get there early or call ahead and have hem set aside some doughnuts for you like I do! They always sell out. I also love the fact that they keep the cash system alive. Beautiful doughnuts, beautiful business, beautiful people.

I hate this shop. Mostly because the people who run the shop have no clue what they’re doing. A few months ago I walked in 5 minutes before closing time and was told to leave. OK. then a few weeks later I come in at 10a and there isn’t a donut in the place. Apparently someone«bought» every donut in the joint… hmmm…how about making a good sales day a great sales day and make some more donuts for your other customers? What an idea! Then this week I go in the shop and was told they do not take debit or credit cards… What!?! This is the 21st century! The chick behind the counter told me I could go to the mini mart to use their ATM… Uh… no thanks. Your donuts are not so good that I’m going to pay the ass at the mini mart a fee to use their ATM. I’ll go to Safeway, they fresh bake their donuts all day, have normal hours and take debit cards.

My coworkers love it every time I bring donuts from here. If it were closer to the shipyard it would probably be a weekly thing for me. Cash only, show up early, enjoy!

So super sad we didn’t like this place. We arrived around 9AM and half of their donuts were gone, so the variety wasn’t impressive, but they still had stuff we normally like. I got a white frosted with coconut that was really bad. The frosting tasted like straight-up crisco :(I also got an old-fashioned glazed that was really, really good though! I’d like to try this place again because the reviews seemed so great — maybe we just went on an off day,

Donuts are alright, they can go easy on the nutmeg. The fritters are good but prolly won’t go back.

The donuts here are really good, but watch carefully as they pack your box. The last TWO times my husband went here, he didn’t get the same donuts he asked for. Even though he waited 20 minutes first thing in the morning to get a dozen fritters, half blueberry, half apple, he ended up with a dozen blueberry and NO apple. Luckily, they were for a group of sailors, so no one really noticed, but it wasn’t fun to wait for the apple and end up with only the blueberry, which were ready when he got there. The next time he came in he ordered a half dozen of various things including two glazed old fashioned, and ended up with two glazed regulars instead. That one hit me pretty hard because the glazed old fashioned is my favorite now that the maple bacon is gone. Come in for by far the best donuts in the area but keep an eye on what you’re actually getting! Also, the maple bacon is gone, which is tragic.

They have this chewiness that other donuts don’t have. Very fresh and delicious. The only downsides; cash only, and not open long enough. Sadly can’t make it here often because it’s usually closed by the time I’m out and about. EDIT: Also, removed maple bacon donut from their menu of items. Must haves: Maple Bacon Donut(do not leave here without one!) — the bacon is perfect, crispy~ [NOLONGERAVAILABLE] The maple isn’t super duper sweet, and it just makes the best breakfast. Glazed — The staple! Bluberry Fritter I also recommend for pumpkin flavor lovers, the Chocolate Pumpkin Cookies. They are the best I have ever had. There is one I don’t really recommend though, and that’s the Boston Cream donut. I feel the cream tasted bland and it wasn’t appetizing. The only thing I’ve gotten from here I was disappointed about. EDIT: THEYDONOTHAVETHEMAPLEBACONDONUTANYMORE. I have docked a star now because they no longer have it, which I feel was the star of this donut shop. Made it slightly less appealing to go here, since it was already a bit of an inconvenience due to the short hours they are open. Still some of the best donuts, but pretty sad they don’t have them anymore.

YES, YES, YES!!! We live a mile away from here and I am so glad that we found this place. The donuts are soft and chewy. I LOVE the maple bars, blueberry fritters and the maple pershing. The employees are great and super friendly. A dozen donuts is $ 10(cash only) which is a pretty good deal for such awesome donuts. Interested to see what they change the name to! This place will be our new place for donuts. Grocery stores don’t even compare.

This is the Best Old School Family Run Doughnut Shop in Bremerton(In fact, I think it’s the only one) Excellent Doughnuts, Nice Variety. Had a Blueberry Scone that was the Best Ever ! Everyone in the store seems to treat ya like Family, Very cool. I know they are getting up at O Dark Thirty just to make some of the best Local Doughnuts around. Once you’ve had these doughnuts, you will be unable to eat any at Albertson’s or Safeway. No Comparison! Open early enough so an early stop can be made and still have time to get to PSNS, Bangor or Keyport on Time. They Take Sunday & Monday off for some well-deserved rest. And remember its Cash only. Thanks For the Great Doughnuts !!
