Midway Inn

Clean rooms and fantastic service. It looks like the inn went through some recent renovations so the rooms look very nice. The owner, Rita, got us checked in quickly and was super friendly. She remembered our names and made sure that we had everything we needed. The parking lot is a little small, so I can see how it gets crowded if there are a lot of guests but we didn’t have any trouble during our stay. The only complaint I have is that we booked a reservation early via
only to find out it was $ 20 cheaper if we had booked through the inn itself. I recommend calling ahead to see if they have any specials!

Clean rooms and super friendly service. Average continental breakfast fare. Parking can be crowded late at night. The walls are very thin, but overall I think the positives outweigh the negatives.

My mother stayed here while I was in labor and she had borrowed my car. She parked it in the garage below the building one night (while I was literally in labor) and some little thugs kicked two huge dents in my doors. She says an employee mentioned telling those same people to leave earlier, so they probably assumed it was her car as I guess that’s where employees park. So that’s great. The sad thing is I told my mom during a prior visit that I would not stay there, some not-​so-​great looking people walk the sidewalks all around there and I would not consider it safe for cars even if its location is very close to our home. She seemed to think the place was generally OK on the inside. But watch out, it may end up costing you hundreds of dollars, and in my case while I’m busy trying to deliver a baby. No justice.
