The owner wasnt lifting a hand to help even when the line was getting backed up leaning on the counter with his hand on his hip on on the other hand with a look that says get on with it and since i am a messy eater i like to have extra napkins and when i asked for more he was being a little stingy adding one«to the pile» the fact that the sauce was heavy on the sandwich didnt seem to rationalize having two napkins esp when you are in public and want to look your best esp on a date

Can I give no stars? Terrible service, and they are cheap! Only one person working right before the busiest ferry for the Seahawks game! They also skimp on toppings. Worst subway I have ever been to.

Been here 7 or 8 times since Smiley’s Subs closed. Several times there has been a communication issue while ordering because English is not their native language. Difficult to order, but the food was ok. I’m not too picky if they put the wrong cheese on. On my last visit, I ordered ice water as usual and they told me they were out of water and that I would have to buy it at almost $ 2 a bottle. Out of water– how do they wash their hands??? Then, as I was leaving the store, the employee yelled at me to stop, as though I was stealing something. After several attempts to understand what he was saying, he said I hadn’t paid for the chips I had asked for when ordering. Altogether I paid $ 24 for 1 foot-long, 1 six inch, 3 chips, and 3 waters. And treated rudely again. I won’t be back. There are just TOOMANYCHOICESWITHIN1BLOCK to put up with this.

Pretty standard for a Subway. Service isn’t spectacular, but it is polite and quick. I especially appreciate the convenient location near the ferry terminal.

I realize that this only counts if you happen to get the same short fella who makes your sandwich — but the service is absolutely horrible(and I’ve had some pretty bad subway sandwiches in my time!) I went there shortly after school, hoping to get a good sandwich to soothe my sore and hungry stomach. A classmate of mine and my teacher had both complained and warned me of this man who’s stingy and doesn’t follow what you want. However, I like to live my life on the dangerous side and went anyway to fix my hankering for a good cold cut sandwich. Besides that, I figured that there were other employees, and I’m sure he wouldn’t be the one who would fix my order. Dun dun DUN… He was there and ready to prepare. I like a lot of lettuce — he gives me a measly strip of it. When I asked for more, he gave me literally a pinch of the stuff. I ask for tomatoes, he gives me exactly 2 and doesn’t spread them evenly across. Olives? Oh sure, how’s about 4? I could have lived with this and ate my sandwich just fine with the measly ingredients that he put on my sandwich — but the thing that killed it was none other than the mustard. I asked for a LITTLE bit of mustard. What’d he do? Glide the bottle across the sandwich back and forth with nothing coming out. He looked up at me and asked me if I wanted more. «…Yes.» I said, thinking that he might have been joking. He does it again, then looks back up at me. «More?» «You…You haven’t put anything on it.», I staggered. It was getting to the point where it was uncomfortable. I couldn’t figure out if he was just being rude or if he didn’t understand. So, he pushes on the mustard bottle. «PLBLTHH» it went. A massive goop of mustard landed on my sandwich — making it barely edible. «Anything else?» He asked. «No.» I said, completely angry that I would now have to pay for this sorry excuse for a sandwich. I didn’t want my oil and vinegar nor my salt and pepper. It was plain and simple, my 3 dollar and some cents sandwich was ruined. Sure, you might think«You’re overreacting!» But, I’m not. I felt the most gypped here than I have felt anywhere else. Another employee popped out of nowhere and took my money, with the last words being«Enjoy your sandwich». Insult to injury if you ask me! My point is, if ever you get this employee, be sure to stand up for yourself. He’s been known to give soup half full too.
