This is the best Home Depot I’ve been to. I lived in Houston until 3 years ago and shopped at Home Depot quite often. If I had ever been to the Brenham Home Depot before we moved out to the country, I might have driven the 50 miles to shop in Brenham. I have never gone into this store and not been able to find someone who is eager to help me. (Unlike in Houston, where they run the other way if you look like you need help) Often I have been asked by 4 people in one visit if I need help finding something. The employees at this store are great! If they can’t help you they will find someone who will. At Christmas time they were handing out fresh baked cookies and even had Live Christmas music. I never saw anything like that in Houston.
The Brenham Home Depot is the best Home Depot I have ever been to. The big city stores should send their managers out here to learn how a store should be run.

I had the greatest experience of customer service at the Brenham Home Depot. Bought a garage door, new door opener, complete with installation — Getch was our Home Depot rep and went out of his way to ensure we got the best discounts available. Not only does HD honor vets year round, they are truly one of a kind in Brenham, TX.

Absolutely zero customer service here. Needed a black dishwasher & found one at the Bastrop location. When we got it home it was broken & tried to return it to the Brenham location with the receipt & on the Home Depot card. Got a short, «Sorry we don’t stock that model, you’ll have to return it in Bastrop.»

When you’re in an area where you’re not familiar with and the Unilocal reviews are low, you go to the big box/​chains to hope for consistency. Well let it be known this Home Depot sucks! All I needed was some keys made for my one of my rental properties. First off the place is not close so two drives to Home Depot is unacceptable. Lucky for me when I got to the car I looked at my duplicate keys and realized they were completely the wrong base key. I walked back inside and had to wait again for the keys to be made. I’m so glad the Home Depots/Lowe’s in Houston have the automated key makers.
