All the food and desserts here are excellent. The prices are a little steep. Also the look of the dining room is very cool and pleasant. The kid at the order counter is always extremely kind and professional. The only other downside is that you have to wait in a really long line to order at the counter instead of from a waiter or waitress.

I am eating lunch here right now. Service was quick and friendly. My muffuletta was very good, as were the sweet potato fries. Do try it for yourself!

I ordered a personal sized supreme pizza and I was not disappointed. The bottom was perfectly crispy but not overdone. The toppings were fresh and the cheese bountiful and stringy. The lemonade was wonderful as well. It wasn’t from the tap and the sugar to lemon juice ratio was great. The store front next door is the sweets side of the business and connected but still separate from the dining area. It’s nice to be able to get an ice cream treat after lunch or dinner without having to leave the building. I will definitely be back to try more items on their menu.

I don’t recommend drinking coffee here. The café latte was lukewarm, and very bitter.

Yumm! Such a great place, people and food alike. Went last night with a friend for the 2nd time and it just gets better and better! The young man at the counter was unfailingly polite and helpful. The menu is diverse and looks to be well executed all the way around. First time here we got a few different pizzas that were all fantastic. I had the chipotle chicken salad last night. Lots of flavor and an ample amount of chicken. Prices are very fair. Ate for less than $ 10. Next time we will have to go over to the dessert counter. Thanks, yumm!

Amber — Thanks for your response. It’s really awesome to feel heard. My favorite is simply the Veggie Pizza. It adds fresh flavor to the pizza and it’s always has the right cheese to vegetable ratio. I’m a sucker for ranch so I always get a side, but I’ll take it ranch-less any day. I was thinking about other comments I felt I should mention… One thing I struggle with is the chalk board behind the counter. I find it busy and hard to read, albeit informative and overall a good concept. I also forgot to mention that y’all have a great selection of locally brewed and beloved beers without having an overwhelming amount to choose from. I appreciate a small amount of awesome choices. It makes life easy! I love y’all’s commitment to customer service… thanks again!

I’ve eaten here several times over the past few months and the food is very good and fairly priced. Polite service is hit or miss at times.

I love coming in here on the ‘indulgences’ side, because their selection makes it one of the best sweets shop in downtown Brenham. The employees can be hit or miss on social manners, but when they’re not busy sometimes you get a real ‘hello’! There’s this one gal who’s a total sweetheart, and made my sister’s day when she came up here to explore Brenham for her birthday! I’ve eaten out from Yumms twice, and had this burger with pico that was pretty killer. If it wasn’t so busy at lunch time I’d definitely go more often, I’m just not in to the long wait.

The whole menu is to die for. Pizza is the best in town. Main lady at the register needs a lesson in customer service. I’m not letting that stop me from an awesome meal, just giving a good tip.

The girl working the cash register was not attentive or friendly. The entire time she took my order, she had her head turned talking to another waitress. Not a single smile. It was unclear when I walked in whether to wait to be seated it order at the counter. They offered no assistance opening the door as I carried out a Togo order and two drinks. I will not be back to this place. You’d get a lot more tips in the«college fund» jar on the counter if you learned a thing or two about customer service. Plus our order was not correct.

Tried the Friday special of the Fish Taco Wrap. See, I have trouble walking by a sign that has the words«Special» and«Taco» on it. I can’t actually. And it was damn good. Came in a spinach tortilla and the very fresh flavors of Tilapia came through as dominant as any fish taco should. Perfectly grilled wrap which had orange cheese. They could make it better by using white Mexican cheese such as Queso Fresco but what do I know about tacos? So here you have a large, cool open dual restaurant with hand crafted unique foods, wine, local beer(like from Brazos Valley Brewery a block away) a candy and gift shop(wife loved the sweets), Jelly Beans and they even had Blue Bell Ice Cream again. Friendly service, lots of fun things to look at and take in. Of course this is a 5 star experience on Historic Downtown square. Easy free parking. This is small town Texas at it’s best. Will visit again to try the pizzas and more sweets for sure. And beer. And maybe some wine.

Really nice and spacious. Great atmosphere. I don’t love the grab the menu order at the counter routine when we were in there for lunch during an off time. Personally I prefer to have waitstaff but at least you get to skip the tip that works out pretty well if you just grab some menus and grab a table figure out what you want it works out in the end. It was really really good and so is the fried ravioli appetizer. You need to know what kind of beer that you want ahead of time when you get to the counter, because chances are the service person behind the counter is clueless about the local specialty beers they have. Definitely would come back here again. Recommended.

Pizza was ok but expected Yummy and it wasn’t. Toppings were scarce and we got the most expensive pizza. No reason to spend $ 15 here when you can have something delivered that tastes as good or better.

This place has a lot going for it, but its best feature is the space. Large, airy, with beautiful hardwood floor and solid furniture, and nice easy décor, it creates a casual, comfortable yet upbeat mood. We had a very tasty pizza, a passable mac-and-cheese from the kids menu, and excellent Talenti gelato for dessert. Good quality water, too. They also offer a large choice of interesting sodas.

The pizza I would give 2.5 stars. The environment, service and other food I tried I give 4 stars. My husband and I shared a Margherita Pizza and The Crisper Wrap. The wrap was battered chicken, cheese, some grilled peppers and Honey Mustard dressing in a Spinach Wrap then grilled on the outside. It doesn’t sound that exciting but it was so wonderful tasting. I ate my half super fast and was devastated when it ended and only had Pizza legt to eat. The pizza tasted undercooked but it was burned on the outside, the cheese was thick, barely melted and sweating. The toppings mushy and old. It probably had potential, but whomever made it ruined it.

Right in the heart of town lies this well kept Brenham secret, great affordable eats, cool atmosphere and great service. You’ll be greeted by some eclectic art right at the entrance and see the inviting bar(which is also where they take your orders). Orders are taken here, you’ll get a number and get seated for the short wait. They have a college fund tip jar which is quite a nice touch, all the wait staff really look like college kids, seriously. But, they do dress the part. Best food to order? Get the pizza and the chicken wings. The pizza comes served as thin slices on an elevated plate, baked impeccably to perfection, I secretly believe there’s an Italian chef in the back. They say the wings are appetizers but I swear you could have them as a full meal! It’s a nice crunchy battered brown, flavored with something secret. Dipping sauces are ranch, BBQ and buffalo– all home made! Tried the gumbo here as well, which was not too shabby, though a bit dry and had little rice in it. So, if you are ever exploring the Brazos river countryside, stop here, just even if it’s for the sweets. Next door they have the ice cream and gelato parlor, my only complaint is the steeper prices for cold treats.

Came here for lunch on a Saturday and it was not too crowded. Located on the main street of downtown Brenham, this quaint little place serves up decent food at a good price. It is extremely good for kids as the tables are spaced out nicely and the kid menu is robust. I got the combination pizza for myself and a bowl of mac and cheese for my daughter. All of the kids meals come with a drink and chips. I got her a Coke and it came in the form of a can, not fountain. The pizza was not bad and they even provided ranch at no extra charge. The mac and cheese, however, was very poor. The cheese was runny and it looked like it came from a box. I was able to share my pizza since it was pretty big. Overall, it is a good place for kids and there is the desert shop adjoined next door. Just stay away from the mac and cheese.
