The actual product sold by this company is good. The customer service provided by the company that makes the product is that bad I can only rate that part of my experience. I Ordered the product mid June. The rep said products usually ship in 2 days should have 2⁄3 days after. I called about 6 days later and was told part of the products were on a 2⁄3 week back order and the rest where on a 6⁄8 week back order. The rep offered an option on the 6⁄8 week products and said they would not charge the shipping for the entire order and not bill my card until the order shipped. 2 days later my card was charged the entire amount, including shipping. Not really a big deal I knew I would receive the order. The order arrived and all worked except the option that was offered as a replacement for the 6⁄8 week item. I Returned that item and it was received by Armour Concepts Wednesday 7÷31÷13. I called the next Wednesday as my account had not been credited the money. The rep said the return dept. didn’t process returns until Fridays. Ok the item was received by your company last Wednesday, so a Friday has passed, he verified the item was indeed there and would make sure that dept. got on it immediately. Next Tuesday no money in my account. I emailed the CFO of the company and he assured me he would get it handled immediately. Thursday he called and said there was a problem processing the card I used for the original purchase. I gave him the account # again. Next Tuesday still no money. I called the CFO and left a message. The next day, know 3 weeks into this ordeal spoke to someone else. I received an email from the CFO later that day, 8÷21÷13, stating he would write me a check for the return. I an know very worried what has happened to my personal info I have given this company 2 times. At this point 8÷22÷13 still no money from this company. DONOT buy directly from this company.

I ordered the EZ Armor Side-Light set. Unfortunately, my door jamb is too thick and the decorative molding would have had to be removed to make the shields fit. I messed up by not knowing for sure how to do the measurements prior to ordering. Anyway, I ordered the kit after my neighbor had their front door kicked in. I saw the Armor advertisement on-line, and it looked good and had glowing reviews. I ended up having to return the kit, but I must say that their customer service is the best. They were very prompt on getting back to me on any questions that I had. Although, I did return the kit, I give them high recommendations for how they treat their customers — even when things don’t turn out right. They were willing to let me return the kit and refund my money. Kudos to Armor Concepts for bringing back superb customer service.

The«store» on Robertson is a real dump. It’s not even a store, it’s a bunch of offices. The reception area is filthy and the place gave me the creeps. No one to greet me(through the glass window, that’s friendly, yeah) for almost 8 minutes. Don’t know what is worse, the store or the website, which is super-cluttered. That aside, the product is pretty good and is reasonably priced. I later found out you can get some of their stuff at Lowe’s. wish I had known that. Giving it 3 stars for the product, not the place and certainly not the website.

Armor Concepts is a company that specializes in door and window security. The majority of their products are designed to strengthen your door jamb and door and make it impossible for a burglar to kick your door in. I found Armor concepts after three houses on my street were robbed within a single week. In each case the thieves kicked the door in and were gone within a few minutes. I decided to do something about my house and was thrilled to find a local business that had exactly what I needed. I purchased their EZ Armor product to strengthen my doors. It is basically a four foot piece of metal that replaces the kick plate for you deadbolt. The biggest difference is that it has eight 3 inch screws holding it in versus the two wimpy ½ inch ones that most deadbolts have keeping your door secure. I also installed the Hinge protectors and door protector. I was actually angry when I was replacing the screws holding my door into place. They were all ½ inch or smaller. It is no wonder doors get kicked in so easily. There is literally nothing sturdy holding the door in. All of the Armor screws are 3 inches long and actually connect to the framing of the house. The product was fairly easy to install, but I would highly recommend having a power drill handy to make it go much faster. A competent handy man can have one door done in roughly 30 minutes. The location and building are extremely nondescript, there is not even a sign to speak of. It is more of an industrial office than a retail shop. The staff is extremely helpful however and it is still the easiest place to get the product in Nashville. I was very happy with the product and the company providing it. They are a local business and all the products are made here in Nashville. If you have concerns about your security, and you probably should, then this company can be a great help to you peace of mind.
