I’m not trying to «slam» you, I’m merely giving my point of view. I even took much of the responsibility by saying that I am incredibly organized and knew what I wanted, thus probably did not need a planner at all. My wedding weekend frustrations were primarily that I was doing quite a bit of your job instead of relaxing and being the bride. I just learned that you are no longer in the wedding business, I’m not shocked. I hope you find a way of making a living that doesn’t scam, overcharge, or manipulate people. You have a gift in the entertainment field, I feel your main issue is just a lack of communication in expectations. Have a great day.

I recently got married in November of 2010, and was fortunate enough to have Jason as my wedding planner. I only had 3 months(yes, 3 months!) to plan my wedding of about 275 guests, but through it all, Jason kept me calm, cool and collected. He had a lot of great ideas to implement my dream wedding and in the end, it was exactly what I wanted! Jason’s biggest concern was ensuring that my wedding was exactly what I wanted. I’ll admit that I had some pretty lofty desires, but I never heard Jason say that anything was impossible. His best traits are his warm spirit, his kind nature, his can-do attitude, and his very friendly demeanour. Also, he knew how to make sure that anything negative or stressful was kept away from me, the bride. A few times, Jason had to handle some bumps in the road, but he did so without me ever knowing it. He never does anything to receive credit, rather, he just does it because he cares that much. He was always on time to all of our vendor meetings, which is indicative of how serious he takes his job as your coordinator. He was full of great vendor recommendations, too. All around, I thought that Jason provided me with excellent service as my coordinator!

Bay Area Entertainment made my wedding day dreams come true. From beginning to end, Jason(wedding coordinator) and Gladys(assistant) were there for me through the whole wedding process. I found Kenyon Estates from (loved the search engines on this site). The pictures are beautiful and instantly became a top choice to look into. I narrowed my potential locations and since it was so close, I made an appointment to see this one first. The place is even more beautiful in person! Landscape well maintained, the scenery and seclusion… perfect, great focal points for pictures and the overall ambiance was inviting yet elegant. I had to really budget since my husband and I paid for the wedding. The great part about this place is you don’t need a lot of decorations. It was the first place I saw and my mind was made up. It was everything I never knew I wanted. They had an open-house event and I was able to take my sister and mother-in-law to the location. The place was set up like a wedding and there were different caterers, a band, different décor options from rental companies, a photo booth and lots of stations with business cards so you could talk to the vendors. This was all from the preferred vendor list that has a wide range of options. I used some and found others. The event was awesome and would recommend going, even if you aren’t sure if you want your wedding or event there. I have a pretty demanding job, but I really wanted to do the planning for this day. Jason and Gladys helped me when I needed advise or had questions. They checked in with me from time-to-time to see how I was doing and offer help. Seemed to right as I needed it(sometimes just the support alone was helpful). Looking back, I should have asked for help from time to time(what can I say, I REALLY wanted to do it all). I got married on May 29th2010. Jason didn’t let me lift a finger the day of the wedding. Even his intern Kelly, at one point, got a drink for me since I was so busy saying hello to my guests. Jason made sure we started on time(which people were amazed about), moved the flow of events smoothly and ended with the sparkler exit(definitely recommend). This was the first real wedding in my family and one of the biggest we had been to. My family and friends tell me the bar is set pretty high for any future weddings to come. For me, it was everything I had hoped it would be and so much more. I would recommend this place to my family and friends. Thank you Bay Area Entertainment!

Bay Area Entertainment is an excellent wedding or event planning company. During the course of our relationship(they helped coordinate my wedding), I worked with Gladys, Jason and their wonderful intern, Adrienne. In the beginning I always wondered why a day of coordinator was so important for what I thought was only a few hours of work. I was very mistaken because I had not taken into account the amount of prework that is put in. All three were professional, calm and helpful in the«above and beyond» sense. They have an excellent collection of vendors they can refer you to. After spending months in the fruitless search for a flamenco guitarist, Gladys found me one for half the cost I had been quoted. Their chocolatier who created our wedding favors was also unique and amazing. Every time I needed a vendor, I would spend a couple of wasted minutes on Unilocal or google and finally call Gladys. Jason and his intern are extremely attentive and more than anything calm. There was absolute chaos and confusion in the final days before the wedding and they handled that with poise. An interesting thing about Adrienne, somehow she managed to be everywhere during the wedding. I think she should have been in that movie Jumper. If I could do it all over again(my goodness no) I would probably have booked them sooner to help with the entire wedding planning and not just the day of coordination. It would have saved a career girl like me(with no time for weddings) a lot of trouble.
