One of the better restaurants in the Brentwood area. The menu is diverse and the food is excellent. Some menu options allow for a quick, cheap meal, while others allow for a nicer night out. Either way, you’ll find what you’re looking for here. The steaks, sandwiches, and wraps are all great. The wine menu is pretty impressive, especially for a restaurant of this size. My favorite thing here is the bang bang shrimp appetizer, which I sometimes get as my main entrée. They also offer a bang bang shrimp wrap, which I recommend as well. The only drawback is the service. The last time we went, two servers got into an argument right at our table about whose section our table was in. They were fighting to bring us our waters, which was a little awkward. They’d then come to our table and complain about each other. We haven’t been back since. That incident stands out in particular, but even on other occasions it’s typically slow, hard to get refills, servers don’t have wine knowledge, etc. In short: the food rocks, but the service is hit and miss(mostly miss). For that reason, we don’t go as often as we’d like.

Dirty. There was visible dust on the walls and it felt grimy all over. There was a cloud of smoke over the whole restaurant– it was like they burned something in the kitchen. I thought it would go away, but the smell & smoke only got worse. Apparently everything was«pre-made» so there were no substitutions or alterations to the dishes.(I’m totally fine with no substitutions, but the fact that it was premade is kind of gross). Total lack of atmosphere– just felt dirty, dark, and burnt. Ew.

When I travel I like to find a family friendly restaurant with a bar where I can sit and eat and not have anyone bother me. A local coworker recommended Bricks and it fit that bill to a T. The waitress was friendly — I don’t know if carding me was a ploy to make me like her bit it didn’t hurt. She made several recommendations when I asked for suggesting on something that might be light. I ended up going with one of her suggestions, the Tuscan pasta. The pasta was cooked well with tomatoes, artichokes, pine nuts, feta cheese and Cajun seasoned chicken in a white wine olive oil sauce. The chicken was the one disappointment in an otherwise tasty dish… It was a little dry and didn’t really need the Cajun seasoning. Overall it was a pleasant dinner on the road a D if I am in the area again I would come back.

Ok I’m not sure where all the bad reviews are coming from but I ate dinner here tonight. The place was crowded and a little noisy but the service was excellent and the food was outstanding. The only compliant I have is the focaccia bread. Too expensive for the amount you get, but even at that it was excellent. I had the blackened chicken pasta and my dinner companion had the cheesy parmesan chicken pasta. Both were cooked al dente and the chicken and seasonings where spot on on both. The dinner pricing was reasonable for the amount of food, trust me I’m a big eater if I say the potion was a good size it was big. Tip and all dinner was less than $ 45.00 and I was full and that’s no small feat in this day and age.

Dirty, dark and I swear they microwaved my fettucine alfredo. It was so soupy, overcooked and boiling hot when they served it to me that there is no other explanation. I did not try the salads but they looked fine.

After reading some reviews my expectations weren’t too high but I was very impressed with my meal. I got the pesto chicken flatbread which was excellent. The flatbread was perfectly cooked and was very filling. I will be going back.

I love this place & I don’t understand all the negative reviews. It’s a cute, intimate setting, very nice. They have a great wine special during the week & the fried goat cheese salad is amazing! Also, the service is never bad.

Service was good. Bloody Mary was good. Food was terrible! and the place is dirty, even the menus were dirty. Even the salt shaker was dirty. Food was below Ruby Tuesday’s /Applebees.

We went in mid day on a week day so it was pretty slow but the food was definitely delicious. I would go back here agains as there were a few things on the menu that I would like to try. Our waitress was cute and talkative and gave great recommendations! So, why only 4 stars? Because we ordered dessert first, as we typically do, and the waitress did not bring us our dessert. She ignored the request until the end of the meal she when we didn’t want it anymore. We wanted it at the beginning, when we asked for it. Oh well, next time we will order dessert only and then ask for the menus back.

The Good: Service was exceptional. Good value in quality meal for the price. The Bad: notta The Rest: Had the chipotle chicken sandwich and it was very good. The roll was delicious and fries were crisp. Had a Grey Goose Martini and it was made well. Nice décor. Dinned with my 20 year old daughter and we enjoyed a nice meal and good conversation.

Love this place! The beef medallions are amazing, the specials creative and good and the pasta great. My kids love the Mac and cheese. The service is always good and the wine specials are another benefit. We are regulars!

Well, I thought I’d give this location a try because it was centrally located for my friend and I, but it turned out to be pretty much the same as the Nolensville one except cleaner. Service was really bad, he messed up our orders quite badly, kept leaning on the table, wanted to talk to us about his Valentine’s date, hovered waiting for us to pay… it really was just bad. No desire to go to this«chain» ever again. :(

I got a pizza, it wasn’t bad but I would definitely say it was a little too expensive for the small amount of pizza you got.

We decided to try this place after our concierge at a hotel nearby told us about it. We came around 7 pm and was promptly seated. Our drinks came right away and stayed full the entire meal, service was excellent. Now for the food. I ordered the Parmesan Crusted Chicken Pasta, my dad ordered a cheese pizza with sausage, and my mom ordered the Pesto Chicken Flatbread sandwich. My pasta was excellent. The chicken was tender and wonderfully flavored. The cheese pizza was very cheesy. If you want a cheese pizza with very little cheese this is not the pizza for you. My mom says her sandwich was amazing, although I didn’t try it it looked good. I only rated this 4 stars because although the food was good compared to other similar dishes it fell short. But don’t let that deter you from coming to eat here.

Love this place! The best pizza I have eaten around! I love the pizza here. I usually get the BBQ Chicken and add bacon. But everytime I and my friends have been here, we all loved the pizza. I cant speak for the other items on the menu because I have never ordered anything other than pizza. The staff are courteous and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place.

Basic. I meet a friend for lunch here every so often. There is ample parking since the restaurant is in a shopping center. The problem is that there is a grocery store in the shopping center as well, and everyone else and their mama and their friends and their friends’ mothers are all out for lunch most likely at the same time as you, or they’re grocery shopping, so it can take a few minutes to find a spot sometimes. I’ve never had to wait for a table, so that’s good. There is lots to choose from on the menu. The last two times I had the crab cake salad and some sort of cheesy pasta dish. The food is OK, at best. The pizza may be the best item on the menu. I usually order a sweet tea. The staff is courteous, but can be slow due to the amount of people that are in the restaurant at a time. It just makes for a convenient lunch. Not too loud, and reasonably priced. I’d never select this place myself, but I go because my friend likes it, and it’s pretty convenient.

I’ve only been here a few times for lunch. I’m not sure if that’s because I’m only ever in the area around that time, or if it’s because I don’t care to pay the dinner prices. This place, along with the other locations is a nice restaurant. It’s not trying to be something it’s not. I’m lead to believe that«Bricks Café» is named after the brick oven stove they have. I guess that’s well enough true, but I ordered a pizza & was sitting by the brick oven stove, & I never saw my pizza go into the brick oven. I mean, it didn’t say brick oven stove pizza on the menu, so I guess I really cannot complain. The lunch menu is where it’s at. The prices are 7 – 14 dollars & the portions are reasonable. The dinner menu has a lot of the same but the prices are marked up. I know it’s dinner & a fancy time to eat at night, but why charge so much more to eat in a strip mall where there’s a pet store? Save your coins & go there for lunch. I ordered the(non brick oven) Italian pizza for $ 10. It’s a large sized personal pizza with 8 slices. I also got a $ 2 Caesar salad that comes on a cup plate, but was flavorful. I could only eat 3 pieces of the pizza and took the rest home. A friend of mine got the house salad & was sad to see that it came with feta cheese(she can’t eat because she’s pregnant or something) & diced red peppers. Those ingredients were not listed on the menu. She also got chicken tortilla soup that looked more like chili. She wasn’t happy. My boyfriend had the fish tacos, which are pretty spicy, although the menu doesn’t tell you that. The fries are battered in something & amazing! Do yourself a favor & go to lunch here. Get a pizza or a plate of fries.

Its been a while since we had eaten at Brick’s Café, more than a year I would guess, now I remember why. Brick’s, based off the name, is supposed to be primarily a pizza place, but the menu certainly does not support that. What is the identity of this place? Living in Brentwood, this is just another bland establishment, lacking any concern for a decent draught selection(Yuengling is not a good beer people), the overall atmosphere of the establishment is nothing special either, there are clearly a lot of regulars there on a Friday, everyone seemed to know everyone, which is cool. That said, what a disappointment from a taste, service and value standpoint. We split a pizza, BBQ chicken, which comes on a frozen cardboard crust. This place really takes advantage of there pizza oven, nothing says fresh and tasty like a Tombstone! Compiled with our frozen pie, was a pitiful ceasar salad. It was closer to a slaw consistency, slimy, willowed greens. I don’t recommend! Erin didn’t have a drink, I had a Sierra, when we were all said and done it was $ 31, not too expensive for a decent meal, but this was not decent, it sucked. We will not be returning to Brick’s, IMO, if you cannot figure out a menu, which has continuity in a specific cuisine, I don’t care to eat there because 9 times out of 10 nothing is ever good, I.E. Mexican and Italian never should be on the same menu! If your happy with Bud Light and bland food, check it out, this brick’s is for you!

Um… YUM!!! Your Fried Goat Cheese Salad is incredible. I’ve become a bit of a salad snob and really appreciate a salad prepared just for me, AFTER I have ordered it(not one waiting in the refrigerator for me). The warm chicken and goat cheese over the veggie spring mix will make sure I return here for a repeat performance. The attentive service, clean restrooms and Motown jams playing in the background round out my lovely afternoon experience.
