Ugggg. Ice cream was not good. Overly sugary and not made with quality ingredients. My kids didn’t even finish theirs! Tons of lazy teens«working» and the place was dirty. Girl was friendly helping us, but the others were too busy chatting and checking their phones. I guess this is all this area has to choose from, but I’d walk to Publix and buy some decent ice cream out of the freezer before I go here again. Disappointing.

Great ice cream. I just wish it didn’t smell like dirty mop water every time I walked in the door.

I feel kinda weird giving an ice cream shop only 2 stars. I REALLY love ice cream. I don’t keep it in the house. My husband and I «go out» for ice cream. We’ve been to Bruster’s several times as we used to live in Nolensville. It’s never that great. You know how Kilwin’s is squeaky clean and the people are(or seem to be) eager to serve you? You know how the scoops are generous enough that one scoop seems like a real treat and two scoops is hard to finish? None of that goes on at Bruster’s. It’s always kind of grimy and the furnishings are more like a waiting room at an oil change shop. The help is a little surly and never friendly. The scoops are puny, especially for the price and the ice cream is often too soft to stay perched on a cone and I’ve also had a yucky tummy more than a couple times afterwards. I’d never make the special trip to Bruster’s…yesterday it was a matter of convenience and it was probably the last time. There’s much better choices.

Ice cream is too soft for my taste. By the time I reached my seat to eat the two small scoops(equivalent of 1 scoop at baskin Robbins), half of the ice cream was melted! I ate maybe 3 bites and threw it away. Ice cream didn’t have very much flavor. Definitely prefer baskin Robbins or stuff at the grocery store. Service was fine, though.

Love this place! Never disappointed! My husband and I make the special trip whenever we want a good ice cream treat! He says their blasts are way better than dairy queens blizzards, and he loves those things!

So the ice cream is great! Buuuut, the store smells bad. My family and I have been in here several times in the last 2 or 3 months now and every time we go in there it smells like dirty, sour cleaning rags or something??? I can’t really describe it… But it’s gross.

What an awful rip off! If you want the best ice crème on the planet, go to Kilwin’s in downtown Franklin. Just don’t come here. I went to Bruster’s for the first time this past Sunday. I won’t be back. The ice crème was tasty – but then, what ice crème isn’t? But the scoop size was teensy, tiny. It was a total rip off. At first I was shocked when they told me that a large size waffle cone includes four scoops of ice crème. I thought that sounded like way too much. When I go to Baskin Robbins and get three scoops, it barely fits in the cone. So I was sure that four scoops would do me in. I decided to go with the medium size and thus three scoops. Now I know why they have the four scoop option for even more money: their scoop size is so tiny that I had to break off literally half of the cone to even get to the ice crème. And then with my first scoop, three licks was all it took to get to my second scoop. Ridiculous. I realize this is ice crème we’re talking about and not life or death, but if I can go to their competitors and get three times the amount for less money, well, that’s a no brainier. Sadly, Unilocal forces me to give them at least one star. They wouldn’t even get that if I had anything to say about it. I won’t be back.

Super nice place. Clean. The ice cream is divine. The staff was nice and fast on their orders. I miss some of the older Brusters flavors like black and white, and strawberry tuxedo, so I hope they come back.

I was not impressed with the ice cream here. You can buy better ice cream from a grocery store.

What service? I stood in here waiting to be served while a young man sat in the back staring at a computer. First and last time I’m coming here.

Great service, great ice cream made fresh in the store everyday. Not a bad location either. The Cake Batter flavor was definitely on par with other places. I’ve only been once, but I would repeat for sure.

I ALMOST wish my husband hadn’t found this place. :-(With the plethora of yogurt mixing shops, I’m thankful — to the point of regretfulness — to have real ice cream so close to home. In about a month we are on our 2nd punch card. We LOVELOVELOVE this place. I haven’t tried any flavor that I didn’t immediately fall in love with. For graham cracker crust lovers, Graham Central Station is out of this world.

I have to thank Bruster’s for officially turning me into an ice cream snob! There’s Bruster’s…and then there’s all the rest. The first flavor I ever tried was chocolate chip and it really felt like I had never truly tasted ice cream before. It was sweet, rich and buttery… heaven! Another fav is pumpkin patch, which has the crust mixed in and its awesome. I have heard that birthday cake is the best selling and I cant wait to try it very soon!

We love Bruster’s! We are an ice cream lovin’ family. Prior to Bruster’s our favorite was Baskin Robbins, but there isn’t one near our home. Bruster’s opened up, and I’ve always been so partial to Baskins that I didn’t even want to give them a chance. But, one of my sons would not let up on the begging and pleading, and sure enough he just wore me down one day. But, OHHAPPYDAY! Yum, yum, yum! His favorite flavor is «birthday cake». Not to be confused with the one that is supposed to be like icing. He would eat the birthday cake ice cream, and only that, for the rest of his life(if it was up to him). There is a funky smell here. It’s not good. I’m not sure what it is, but I smelled it at one other eating establishment recently(I can’t remember where). Unfortunately I was cursed/blessed with an extremely talented sniffer. That’s great when I’m in a flower garden or something, but if there is a dirty diaper in a 5 mile radius of me… WOAH! Poor me. Not that there are any dirty diapers at Bruster’s. I wouldn’t be setting foot in there if that was the case. But, I do wish they could get rid of that smell. Regardless of the smell, it’s not enough to keep me away. In fact, it’s not even horrid enough to cause me to take away any stars! That’s how good the ice cream is. Plus, the staff is so friendly, the service is quick, the store is clean, and they have great coupons sent by e-mail. WOOHOO!

This place has great ice cream and friendly employees. Great place to just hang out with the family. Ice Cream is made fresh every day. It’s good stuff.
