AREYOUKIDDINGMERIGHTNOW, CLARK? Do you know how much food I’ve just thrown away? I mean, obviously since we apparently pay Clark $ 90/eom(to do NOTHING) they must think we can throw away groceries, too? We got the service THEY recommended. they were WRONG and now I am out all this money and time to restock my pantry. Why is my ant problem worse than it was when they started treating my house? I AMPISSED. If I could leave them less than one star, I’d leave them negative 6,485.

I would not recommend this company. After months of spraying my house, I actually had more pests than when they started. I still had ants in my upstairs bathroom(which I had complained about to them from day one), moths, and spiders. Why the ants only found the upstairs bathroom and never the kitchen is strange to me but nevertheless, they never went away. Unfortunately, even though we insisted the technicians call in advance and schedule a visit so we could be sure to be home and let them in to spray, they wouldn’t plan their visit with us. Several months in a row, we found a card in our door stating a tech had been by and sprayed the outside of our home. This wasn’t what we had agreed to up front, so I started to feel taken advantage of after a few months. I eventually canceled and explained to the technician that one of my reasons was how I still had lots of pests in the house. But the tech replied that my husband confided that we leave our door open all summer which allows pests into our home. I told him we leave our screen door closes and that should cause us to have lots of pests if Clark is spraying regularly. I felt he told me that because he felt we were going to ask for a refund based on a lack of results. Either way, I can’t recommend them to anyone. Don’t use these guys. Just not worth the price.

We have used Clark Pest Control since 1992. Once every two months, a technican comes out and sprays the exterior of our Brentwood home, Our current technician is Ron and we are very impressed with Ron. He is professional, polite, and very informative. He shares where he will be spraying and is very knowledgeable about the products he uses. I have raised 2 children and 3 pets with Clark and I trust them completely. Karen Harrison

I may revise this review later, and hopefully upwards(currently a «2»). I absolutely LOVE my technician Robert, and the work he does is superlative. If judging just by HIS work, this would be a «5 star» company. But the office staff has problems that I think are dangerous, in handling credit cards. Long story short, I have had fraud on my credit card, which of course could come from anywhere. When calling in a payment with my new credit card, I spoke to an office person, verified the amount to be charged, and asked in GREAT detail if they used an encrypting program to keep credit card info on file so we could put my bill on auto pay. After making it SO clear to the employee that I did NOT want ANY hard copies of my card kept or sent, I received a call the following day from another finance person, verifying that I would be on auto pay; but she proceeded to read off to me my entire card information!!! It had NOT been encrypted, but written down and put in a cash drawer overnight! I then spoke to the office manager, who was unaware that it is illegal to keep a person’s credit card number when they have specifically asked you NOTTO! Even overnight! Lord! Clearly their office procedures are NOT in place, and it worried me that even an office manager didn’t see what the big deal was. Anyone who has EVER had fraud on their card knows what a hassle it is to correct. By the way, all staff were very polite and nice; I just found them either untrained(probably) or unresponsive to very clear customer requests. And again, their technical handling of all those bothersome critters is terrific, at least by my technician. So proceed at your own risk! UPDATE: I have upgraded this from a 2-star to a 3-star. I have continued to use this outfit, and the work Smitty performs is excellent. I no longer have my card on file, and all is going smoothly. They have a wonderful employee in him; I’m just careful of the office staff. I WOULD recommend using this company. UPDATE #2, November 2014: OK, back down to a 2-star again. I called in to pay my bill with a credit card(I hadn’t done so in ½ year) and Yvonne the secretary said, do you want to use the one«1234»(etc.)!! She had my card on the computer. It was encrypted, even tho I had told them NOT to keep it! I made my way up to the district office(800421‑7829) and spoke to first Rosemary, who looked at my records(again with the card there and numbers given to me) and then to her supervisor Chris Aguiniga. I was very specific in previous years for my card not to be kept. At this point Chris denied that it was on file and would not acknowledge that both Yvonne & Rosemary had given ME the last 4 of my card. Clearly it NOW had now been deleted. The local office supervisor Dan Bonnici said it is automatically stored if you pay with a credit card, and it seems this was the case. Chris flatly denied it and never answered my email. CONCLUSION: A GREATPESTCOMPANYWITHQUESTIONABLEFINANCEPRACTICES! WHATEVERYOUDO, DON’T PAYWITH A CREDITCARD!

Bait and switch. I made an appointment for termite inspection. When I asked how much the inspection costs, they said that the inspector would call me before coming out and tell me. First Red Flag. Well I waited until the morning of the inspection for the call, and then called them to find out the price of the inspection for termites, before they came out. They said that it would cost $ 325 for them just to come to take a look. I cancelled the inspection and had a ruined morning. If they are this dishonest initially, how can you have any confidence in their work? Sadly I already have a contract with them for bug control. I am probably going to cancel, because I am now wondering if they actually do the work on a bi-monthly basis, because I am never there during the day.
