Endodontic Associates

I despise the dentist with a passion and was less than thrilled when I was told by my dentist that I had to go an get a root canal. The procedure was done by Dr. Freeland. It was essentially painless. He gave me some topical Novocain which made the Novocain shots a breeze. Literally felt nothing. Before starting the procedure he made sure I couldn’t feel anything by placing something cold on my tooth. At least I assumed it was cold since I felt nothing. And then outside of a tiny bit of pressure the entire time I just zoned out on ESPN (the nitrous helped too). I was in and out in about two hours and came back to work after it was all over. Could not recommend Dr. Freeland and this entire office enough. ¹⁰⁄₁₀ would go back… but I hope to not have to.

Moved to TN 3 weeks ago from Chicago. I started having tooth pain and ended up at the ER around 4 am. I was able to get into a dentist a few hours later, the dentist advised I cracked my tooth (which I didn’t) and that I needed a root canal and that the root canal would take 2 visits lasting about an hour each time. After doing some research I figured that I should get a 2^nd opinion and see someone that specializes in a tooth abbesses and root canals. I found Endodontic Associates through Unilocal.I am sooo happy that I did! I saw Dr. Freeland, he did my root canal in about 45 mins and it was painless! He explained everything and had great bedside manor. Also all of the staff at both of their offices are very friendly! Highly recommend!

On Saturday morning, the 12^th of October, I awoke with a terrible pain in my right jaw. My dentist, Dr. Larry Averbuch, diagnosed the problem as an infected tooth, requiring an immediate root canal. He contacted Endodontics Associates, found out that Dr. Terryl Propper was on call, and she instructed me to come to their Brentwood offices right away. The procedure lasted just about an hour, and from anesthetic to the final closing, Dr. Propper advised me with a relaxed and confident manner as she completed each stage. At no point did I feel more than minor discomfort. From my experience, I believel Dr. Propper is a knowledgeable, experienced, and highly skilled practitioner, and I would recommend her to anyone needing a root canal. I learned subsequent to my emergency visit that Dr. Propper is the President-​elect of the American Endodontic Association.
