Just had my first brazilian here. I was pretty nervous at first but she immediately put me at ease. She’s very friendly and so easy to talk to and she keeps your mind off what she’s doing. She’s also very knowledgable. She knew all about the medication I’m taking for my skin and how to work with it. The suite is small and private and I felt comfortable there. It went by quickly but I never felt rushed. I’m really glad I listened to the other reviewers here and went to her. She made something I’d been dreading into what felt like a quick visit with a friend.

Emmie deserves 10 stars. She not only does amazing work and is extremely professional, she also has built herself an amazing business. Her work ethic is impeccable. She makes you feel extremely comfortable.
I originally went to her for threading 2 years ago. I was very experienced with threading and had been to many if not all of the local threaders as well as threaders in other cities. No one could hold a candle to the work Emmie did on my very first visit. I have thick, coarse eyebrows and she was able to clean up and reshape my brows to perfection.
Additionally, Emmie has always been super understanding and welcoming of my children during my eyebrow appointments. She is a mom herself and understands that it is sometimes hard to get away for pampering without the kids.

Texted Emmeline today after finding her on Unilocal… And to my surprise she responded asap with an appointment time!!! She’s located in the suites which are gorgeous … Excuse the shock but this was my first time visiting there! Her store front was clean, serene, and did I mention clean??? It was a change from my old experiences at the big box stores where everyone is starring at you and thinking… ewwww what is she doing… Well no more!!! Emmeline was great! Very friendly, engaging and just fun to chat with… Being a mom I’ll take all the ‘adult’ interaction I can! She threaded my brows for the first time EVER… I know I’m behind the times … Yet it was awesome and painless… Well compared to waxing was simple and quick! Well needless to say I’ll be back! Next time to try a Brazilian… Yikes! Say a prayer for me

I recently had my first ever Brazilian wax! I searched all over Unilocal for the best results and chose emmeline rose and am so happy I did! I was so nervous and thought I would feel super uncomfortable but cece Emmys partner was amazing and made me feel so welcome and comfortable! It didn’t even hurt as bad as I thought and I got an amazing scrub for ingrown hairs as well! I will definitely be coming back here and recommend everyone else to come too! They got me in the exact day I needed and were very accommodating :)

You MUST make an appointment with Emmy! I recently had my very first brazilian wax. She made me feel super comfortable and at ease. She was kind, informative, and super knowledgeable. I am so impressed by her relaxed, yet professional attitude. Her salon suite was perfect and clean. Emmy also threaded my eyebrows, chin, and lip. It was painless and looks amazing. I immediately booked my next appoinment– she is that good!

Best wax I’ve ever had in all of the Bay Area. Better than all waxes I’ve had in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. She really makes this as painless as possible. Try out her scrubs too! They smell amazing

Definitely going to continue going back to Emmeline for threading my eyebrows! I’ve been getting my eyebrows threaded for 5 years now and my first girl I used for 3 years doesn’t work in my area anymore. The past two years I’ve struggled to find a person who does a good job. Found Emmeline on Unilocal and glad I did, she made them perfect to how they use to look and didn’t hurt at all! She’s great and very comfortable to talk too as well!

Emmeline deserves these 5 stars! She is a great small business owner and is truly an expert when it comes to waxing. I found her through Unilocal when I lived in Antioch. Her Brazilian wax was $ 50, and it was well worth the money.

Emmeline is the best for threading! I go to her for my eyebrows and lip and I leave happy every time. I have gone places in the past to get my eyebrows waxed/​threaded and no one has ever done them as good as Emmeline! Her prices are very reasonable and you’re guaranteed to walk out looking beautified. She also has her own private suite so you always feel comfortable. I highly recommend her for threading. I get in and out and her work is always precise!

I found out about Emmy through a friend. My skin is very sensitive and I break out very easily with waxing. No rash or any signs of acne at all. Thanks for a great job.
Emmy was extremely helpful and very professional during our entire appointment in which she performed an amazing job (even CURED my FEAR of threading) that shat hurts, not with her though! Couldn’t even feel it. She seemed to enjoy the challenge of showing that her competition couldn’t even hold a fork to her.
Pricing was very fair as I expected to pay about 25% more then what she charged. She seems very popular as her phone was constantly ringing with returning and new customers.
I will for sure use Emmy again. Pain is beauty… didn’t feel a thing.

OMG!!! i had the best threading in the world done by Emmy! i went to the mall once and got my eyebrows threaded and the lady messed up almost took my eyebrows all off and it was the most painful thing in the world and i am good with pain. Emmy talked me into her threading my eyebrows (after they grew back) and i have to say that this girl not only made it non painful threading n my life! She also shaped them and they look amazing!!! I recommend this girl to anyone and everyone the prices are great and she is a sweet girl who knows what she is doing I WILL be going back to her, and you should too!!!1

Emmy is absolutely AMAZING!!! I’ve had threading and waxing done in the past and it was always sooo painful that it wasn’t really worth it. Emmy does such a great job, it was fast and painless! she’s very professional and takes her time to ensure you are not only comfortable but happy with your results!
