The hostess was pleasant, but it pretty much went downhill from there. We were seated quickly and ignored. After 10 mins I asked to speak to the manager who apologized and brought over water and a waiter. The waiter did a great job of trying to improve the experience, but the food was less than acceptable. When 3 of the 4 meals arrived, my BLTA had less than 2 slices of bacon and the fries were ice cold. My niece had the same thing and it had even less bacon. I asked for a few extra slices of bacon so I could finish making my own sandwich and ignored the fries. For $ 10, I expected it to be slightly better than a homemade BLT, not so much worse. My sons meal came out nearly 7 mins after everything else. The manager never checked back in to see how things were going. The waiter did fine, but clearly had too large of a section. I’ve been there a few times and this trip was probably my last. Big disappointment at a high price.

Jeesh not sure where to start… entered the restaurant and waited inside the lobby for several minutes… like a hiker in the valley of the hardware section of Home Depot I almost thought it was help yourself… I just needed some croupons to find a table… I could have sworn the employees from Mels Dinner across the way were waving us over… before one of the hostesses returned to check on the lobby people. We were seated at a table… the floor was extremely interesting… it looked like my kids took condements and sprayed the entire floor. The music was something strange and different… Then the food came and and like the resutaurant it was a disapointment… Really to sum up Grazie not worth spending anytime there…

1÷02÷2011 — My friend and I went to Vic Stewart but it was closed so we came here. She warned me that last time she was here with her friends, the service was beyond bad. However, food and ambiance are great so she brought me here. I was a little worried about the service but a server did a very good job(I don’t remember her name but she was serving in the bar area that night — if you happened to that server, you did well done!) Soup was okay but pasta with salmon was excellent(Sorry, I don’t remember what I ordered). It is very challenging to make pasta and salmon to be very good but Grazie did an excellent job on both items!

We were greeted warmly at the door and immediately shown to our table. Water and bread were on the table as we were sitting down and our cocktails within minutes. We have been to this restaurant in it’s old location and the food was always great. Well the food is as improved as the interior and that’s hard to do since it was fantastic in the first place. The interior is over the top urban and it feels great to just be in this restaurant. The people are smiling, friendly and quick on their feet. Marium and Remsey are attentive servers and even Darius the owner came by our table to ask us about our dinner. I read the reviews here and find it interesting that so many reviews are dead wrong. This is a warm and friendly place. I give it 5 stars because that is what it truly is. Well done Darius, you have created the ultimate urban restaurant with a major dose of class.

This place is joke… It’s Monday night… Maybe 10 tables. If that 4 servers and a host in the Restaurant that did not even greet us when we came in until we starting walking to the main floor. It had looked like a Manager at the expo line and Manager running around looking like a dumb ass. Were sitting in the bar area to watch the game. As were there it’s a girls birthday next table over. Ten minutes for us to get greeted maybe another five for water. «Host brought them after telling the server» And I guess the bartender is our waiter not only trying to get our drink orders but keeps looking at the bar? Were like what? Anyways he gets our drink orders… And I was trying to say«what’s good pa… Sta.» He says I’ll get those drinks for you! Gone… Were like uhh were hungry and thought we were ready… But it wasn’t our time it was there time… My friend ordered a drink within that moment. So we got bread finally and saw the Manager check the birthday party next to us(how’s everything can I get you Anything more bread? Refills?) «mind you all good looking girls» as he walks I get his attention«Hey were ready to Order WEBEENWAITINGFORWHILE» He says ok I’ll get your server Walks sways tells the bartender hey your table is ready to order… And him not even started the drink my friend ordered and trying to catch up on drinks that he has in the bar area. «Looking were the manager went and is standing next to the other manager/Owner making jokes laughing and bullshitting» We all decided to get up leave. Walk to Red Robin and finally just get our meal in and eat and noticing the food is almost the same? Red robin being a company for how long? and grazie trying to Be? Can’t say sucks and will never will go back

Well I’m writing this review, just wasn’t really sure about it! Grazie moved to their new location @ St of Brentwood, and not sure if they still have their«wednesday family night» but it was awful! The food was pre-cooked(must have been in the afternoon), when I tood my kids there on a wednesday, the food was cold, soggy, and pizza wasn’t the best like they say it is. I don’t know how the food is now since they have moved to the new place. Poor Fuzio their neghbor, but it closed down, & hope it wasn’t b/c of Grazie. I don’t thhink I will go eat there!

I went to their new location in the streets of Brentwood hoping and praying it would be better and much to my chagrin it was not. The restaurant itself is gorgeous and the new expanded menu looked fantastic. I went in with a friend about 1:00 on Saturday. We sat inside and it wasn’t busy. I ordered a Flat Iron Steak and chose soup as it came with soup or salad and my friend order the Flat Iron Steak salad with a side of risotto. One of the few things I like about Grazie is their bread. So after sitting for about 10 – 15 minutes without any I asked our server for some. About 20 – 25 minutes after we ordered out came my steak and my friends salad. It wasn’t or server who delivered the plates and I was shocked to never get my soup which I was looking forward to so I mentioned it to the gentleman who delivered our plates. 5 minutes after my meal arrived out came my soup but the risotto my friend ordered did not come. At this point I got up went to the bar where our server was and told her to never mind on the risotto. Now I will talk a little about the food. My steak with I ordered medium rare was more like medium well but I never got to mention this as my server never came back to check on us. It was also covered in these terrible marinated onion which I took off. My vegetable we not very good and either was the risotto. Was more like rice than risotto. My soup which was cream of zucchini although was delicious and am glad I finally got it and as usual the bread was fantastic. My friend really liked her salad. Back to the service. So we finish and finally get our bill and I realize they charged us for the soup that was included in the meal. After sitting and waiting 5+ minutes I once again got up went to the bar where the server was and showed her the problem her response«oh, I must of hit the soup with the dollar sign.» When she dropped off the bill she refilled our waters for the first time since we sat down well over an hour before. My friend had lemonade and was never offered a refill. Our server was nice enough but then when she apologized she says«I am so sorry I am not good at table service.» I wanted to say then you shouldn’t be a waitress. I am assuming she said this as she is usually in the bar. I wait tables and my manager would read me the riot act if I ever said something like that to a customer. I gave you another try Grazie but you failed and I will not be back. They have a great location and menu but the management at this restaurant REALLYNEEDSTOWORKONTRAININGTHEIRSERVERS!!!

Please trust me when I say that this is a terrible restaurant and must be shut down. My sister and I went there for dinner and we had the soup and the salad. The soup was cold and we kept having to send it back because it was cold. Finally we got a warm soup. I SPENTTHENIGHTVOMITINGALLOVERTHEBATHROOM I HAVENEVERBEENTHATVIOLENTYSICKINMYLIFE.

I went with my family and was seriously disappointed with how bad the food tasted for an expensive price. I drove by there tonight, looks like it has closed for business, I’m not surprised. –Sorry.

What a joke. We went tonight and sat for over 30 min with not even a glass of water. Seemed everyone was not happy and finally we had no choice but to leave. Frustrating. Grazie used to have it together but no longer the case. We will not be going back to do it again :(

Grazie, I love you. We have been here quite a few times, and have not had one bad experience. This is our Italian food place. I always order the chicken alfredo and hubby varies between steak or fish dishes. We also get salads, which are good. I absolutely LOVE their homemade noodles. MMMmmmm. We have tried many of their beers, cocktails and other concoctions. We’ve been very pleased with all. I recall calling their daiquiri«the best since Vegas.» Basically, my only complaint is that they are a little pricey. You get what you pay for, but I’d prefer to pay a bit less. ;) In their defense, they do have an excellent rewards program for dining, so you get discounts and whatnot. Can’t wait for our next visit. Oh my, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Too bad those steaks are marinating in the fridge… Kbye. :)

Took the whole family here for Mothers Day/My sisters birthday. I used to go here quite often when I lived in Brentwood. That was when I was in high school and just out of high school. They had room for all 8 of us to sit. It seems that the waitress has to explain quite a few things on the menu. That kind of irritated me. Then for birthday dinners they offer a free meal if someone else is ordering a dish of equal or lesser value and only on certain days and as long as its not on a holiday, such as mothers day. I thought I was listening to one of those prescriptions drug commercials and the side effects. This was definitely worthy of a 3 star review. I had expected better but it wasn’t. My linguine was mushy and the sauce said it was a white sauce but it wasn’t is was way more red than white. They did have a good looking drink menu but I couldn’t drink with my Mormon Grandma there. I may come back with my husband to try it out.

My mom wanted to take me out to lunch so I thought Grazie! would be a good place to go since it’s right by my office and the prices are very reasonable. It’s a fairly small restaurant so we were grateful that the hostess warned us that a large group was coming in soon and sat us at a table that wasn’t right next to where they were going to be. The meal started with some tasty focaccia served with olive oil, balsamic, garlic and herbs for dipping. It was a good start, but at that point the meal stalled. We didn’t really see our server again for another 30 – 40 minutes. By the time our food came out I was anxious to get back to work so I ended up wolfing down my lunch and bolting out of there as fast as I politely could. I’ve been sort of intrigued with gnocchi lately so I gave theirs a try. The dumplings themselves were decent — not melt-in-your-mouth good like the best gnocchi I’ve had but still a good texture. They were served in a white wine butter sauce which was boring and bland. If I’m going to clog my arteries with buttery sauce it should have some flavor to it. Based on food alone this restaurant would probably warrant three stars on a good day but I had to knock off a star for the overall experience. It was a long wait for a mediocre lunch. Also, when the large group(about ten women and a few children) the hostess warned us about showed up, someone decided to crank up some music. The irritating music combined with the din coming from the nearby party made talking to my mom really difficult which was the whole point of us going out for lunch in the first place.

We went on a Friday night, so needless to say it was super busy. It’s very small inside, so if its a nice day(or not freezing!) I would request to be seated outside. I went there with 2 other people and we were all generally pleased with our meal. We ordered a pepperoni and scallion calzone, a pizza margherita, and I had the lasagna. I tried both the calzone and pizza and wished I would’ve ordered them instead. My lasagna was nothing special and tasted good, but I think it may have been previously frozen. My friend ordered the pink panther martini and said it was very good. I would go there again, however I would order something else. The salads that come with the entrees are sparse with the veggies, but the balsamic vinaigrette is fantastic. The food I think is also a little pricey for what it is.

We recently went back for two separate birthday dinners. They have changed up a few things, for the better. They have added an excellent children’s menu. The owner asked his kids if he should add Dr. Pepper or Orange soda and the answers were split. So he got both. :) The fries are a little too spicy for my oldest daughter; they happily let her substitute a Caesar salad. The food was phenomenal, as usual, both times. We ordered the fried artichoke appetizer and I saw a glimpse of it before it was devoured. I’m not even sure my 9 year old knew what she was eating but she loved it! There’s a great little area with outside seating. There’s an awesome bar with two big screens, displaying various sporting events. There’s a cozy little low lit nook in the back, with Italian music billowing in the air. A few visits back, it was a Friday night and I had a realization. I was sitting there sipping an excellent glass of wine, decompressing from the long work week and I realized — there’s no where else I’d rather be.

Cozy atmosphere with a nice little bar, and outdoor seating which is great on the warm summer nights out here. Pricey… quite pricey for what this food is. Come on now. The Bruschetta appetizer was truly a joke. With all the farm fresh tomatoes out here right now… I think a smattering of 6 – 7 little dice pieces is a bit sparce. Not just that… I felt like they bought the crostini’s premade and barely spattered some sauce on top. Did I say sauce? Hardly. The Artichoke appetizer came with the same crostini’s as the Bruschetta and you are lucky if you got a ½ on that. Both appetizers were weak and over $ 8.00 each. Nice! Not! The drinks were alright I suppose. The Martini’s come in 2 sizes… regular and large. I don’t care for this size choice thing for drinks. Come on now… have it 1 way… this isn’t a fast food joint with a choice of sizes of shakes. Sorry…I support local business, but this is sadly just a major disappointment.

Had dinner here before going to the movie theatre across the street. Nothing really good to say about this other than they have nice outdoor seating. We ordered two pizzas and each was disappointing. Their pizza sauce tastes more like BBQ sauce and is just way too sweet. The dough wasn’t cooked through. An all around mess. It was a Monday night and we were one of only two tables at 6 pm. However, it took 10 + minutes for someone to open our bottle of wine. A terrible waste of $ 50.

We went here for some appetizers and drinks before going across the street to a movie. Plus I had read all of the reviews on here stating how good it was so I figured I couldnt go wrong. I am giving it 2 stars only for the simple fact they had good martini’s. That was about the only good thing they had going for them. We ordered one of the brick oven pizzas which was not very good at all. You could go downt the street to schooners and get a much better brick oven pizza. Then we ordered the gnocchi and I have to say that the gnocchi trader joes carries in the freezer section was better then this stuff. Someone else in our party ordered something but I cant remember what it was and I didnt try it so I cant write a review on it. But over all if for some reason I did end up back here I would only be going for the drinks.

Good food with great service. We had several different pastas — each of us were impressed with the freshness and depths of flavors. The side salad was very tasty. We also enjoyed the focaccia bread and dipping sauce. Very fresh and delicious. We’d return if we’re in the area.

We love you Grazie! We used to dine here often when we first moved to Antioch and there were NO restaurants(folks, remember the three hour wait for a table when Chili’s first opened?) then, as spots started opening we hit the dining circuit full speed and Grazie sorta fell out of the loop because there were other places we could now dine at. I ikinda forgot about Grazie until I received a «$ 10.00 any purchase of 40.00»(drinksNOT included, boo. hiss…) so we went here today for lunch. My husband had the Grazie burger and sicilian potatoes, my twins had the pepperoni calzone and I had the artichoke pomodoro w/grilled chicken. Aside from my twins calzones being a little on the crunchy, no that’s not it, the hard? No, no, no, that’s not it. OK, The burnt side; the food was good. REALLYREALLY good. My husbands burger was huge and tasty and my entrée was delicious, fresh tomatoes, and plentiful chicken and artichoke hearts throughout. Some capers would have made a nice touch but, all in all, scrumptious and generous portions. In order to hit the $ 40.00 mark we HAD to order a dessert. We ordered the tiramisu. OMG — certainly the VERY best I’ve ever had. Ever! I almost needed some alone time with it in the bathroom. Which, speaking of bathrooms, the bathrooms at Grazie are probably the biggest and cleanest I’ve ever seen! They are decorated in a Tuscan-like theme. I’ve never been to Tuscany, but in my mind their bathroom is exactly the way I would imagine Tuscany bathrooms to be. Grazie’s is known for their martini bar so I had a couple of Blue Hawaiian martini’s. I’m not much of a martini girl and before today had never ordered one here. The Blue Hawaiian is really good. It was like drinking waster(cuz it went down so easy) only it tasted like blue kool aid with a coconut after taste. Tasty but pretty weak. I prefer my drinks a little stronger, so doubtful that I would order the martini’s again. I’ve had the long islands before and they are more like«strong islands» at least they were when Dawn was bartending(she is no longer there) but I was stepping outside of my comfort zone today. The owners Darius and Karla tell me its pretty happening on a Friday night for happy hour. It’s from 3 – 7 and they offer complimentary food items like foccaccia bread(so good and home made) meatballs, etc. Oh, and the martini’s are marked down too. I should also mention that about 90% of the food items are homemade. This includes the pasta(‘cept for the gnocchi and ravioli), soups(zucchini soup is crazy good), sauces, dressings and breads Definitely a great spot to dine. Friendly staff, good food, clean bathrooms and did I mention the tiramisu? :-) We’ve had our frequent diner card for a couple years now and have earned enough points to apply a noticeable a markdown. Just for that reason we will so be going back!
