My dentist has been Dr. Sidwell for the past nine years – from the first month I moved to Nashville! He is great. You don’t have all the fancy, unnecessary stuff that you get at these new «dentist spas» that are around these days. And if you are like me, you hate going to the dentist, and want to get in and out of there as soon as possible. At Dr. Sidwell’s, you can get your teeth cleaned (assuming you’ve been in the past year) in under 30 minutes! Fabulous.
He is pretty inexpensive too, which is great if you don’t have dental insurance. However, I always feel as though I get a very thorough check-​up – I never feel slighted! I go twice a year for cleanings, and I most recently bought a teeth whitening system from him. Expensive, but when I did my research, it came in under quite a few of the others out there.
He recently moved from his Green Hills location to the newer Harpeth Medical Center – about 10 minutes down the road on Old Hickory and Granny White – because his Green Hills building was sold. This new location is more modern and a bit fancier, but he is still a no-​nonsense dentist and I love it! I highly recommend him if you want to get your teeth cleaned, cavities filled, and be done with it. He offers other cosmetic procedures besides whitening as well. Five stars, well deserved!
