A very special «thank you» to Julie and her staff for making my bridal gown dream come true! Julie’s salon is a hidden gem in the central valley that carries gorgeous gowns from Sophia Tolli and David Tutera gowns (both of whom are my favorite designers). I can’t wait to wear my gown on my upcoming wedding day and genuinely thank them for ensuring that my gown is a perfect fit to marry the man of my dreams.

After wedding dress shopping from the Bay Area to the Tri Valley, not only did they make me feel special but they also paid close attention to what my likes and dislikes were. It was easier for me to open up since it felt like I’ve known them like family rather than just meeting a sales person that wants their commission for the dress.
Their was a dress they picked that I wasn’t sure of when they grabbed it but it had everything I liked and nothing that I disliked. As soon as I put it on, I definitely knew it was the one!!! I love it! They do know how to listen and make the experience more memorable!

We had an appt on a Friday and Iris and Julie were both amazing and very knowledgeable and helpful. They went above and beyond with their customer service. My daughter is in the military and only home for a few days so we were hoping to find that perfect dress. Knowing my daughter wouldn’t be home until her wedding Julie offered to store her dress and is arranging to have her dress bussled when she comes back right before her wedding. Not only am I glad my daughter said «YES» to the dress and was made to feel so special, I am also happy that we were able to shop local and support this great business! Thank you again~

I just got my dress here and my experience was AMAZING! Julie and Crystal did a wonderful job making sure I felt like the most important in the world.
They had such a good selection of high end dresses with out the ridiculously expensive price tags. I’d recommend J James to anyone looking for bridal or prom dresses

I took my daughter in to find a prom dress after going to multiple stores. She found the dress of her dreams! The customer service was amazing. As a dad I felt so comfortable there and truly feel that we paid a fair price for my daughters dress. She looks so beautiful. They rent tuxedos also and I will come here next time I need one. Julie, the owner has a great personality and really made me feel welcome.

I made an appointment to look at dresses and was greeted by name upon entering. There were other customers in the store, but the owners focus on each bride to be was great. She made everyone feel comfortable and the people I brought with me also love the experience. There are many selections and the owner knows what would work best for the bride to be without pressure. I was able to take my time and retry dresses. She wanted everyone to make an informed decision. I decided to purchase my dress here due to the great customer experience and the friendly environment. I would recommend this place to my friends. I look forward to coming back when the dress arrives.

Omg where ti begin Julie and iris were amazing I found my dress today and its perfect and so what I wanted and more. We all shared a really personal moment even though we were all strangers. I left so satisfied!!! Thankyou again ladies for helping me say yes to the dress!!!

My Friend and I came in looking for a last minute suit for our friend’s wedding. Iris and Julie we’re super helpful, they were really funny all throughout. Even though it was last minute they got everything done in a timely fashion. Would recommend to anyone. Suit was great quality and the ladies there are great!

J James Bridal has been a true blessing. Ever since I got engaged I was eyeing David Tutera dresses from afar-​thinking it would never be possible or in my budget. Then after months of research I found that J James was having a trunk show and all dresses would be discounted the day of-​not to mention if you had the luck of finding a floor sample you would get it at 40% off! I started to email Julie the owner a month out to ask about certain styles and prices to make sure I went in and was only trying dresses within my budget-​everytime I emailed with any inquiry my questions were answered completely and quickly-​making it super easy once I got to the store.
On September 19^th I went to J James with my mother and mother-​in-​law to be and we all were very happy with our experience. Amber was my consultant and she already had the dresses pulled that I requested via e-​mail ahead of time. After trying on a few dresses I selected and sharing with Amber what I liked and wanted she actually suggested the dress that I ended up buying. She listened to what my vision was an instantly knew which dress-​when I tried it on it was very clear-​I wanted to make a few additions to the dress including a belt and some other adds. We are in the process of getting those items together to finish my dream dress. My wedding is not until next year but having the dress and getting at 40% off is really a steal.

I was so happy with my experience at J James Bridal.
Of course I am an excited bride so when I walked into the store it was so beautiful and the staff were so welcoming to myself and my whole huge bridal party! We talked and tried on many dresses and at the end I SAID YES TO THE DRESS! Something totally different from what I wanted but I never felt so beautiful! Julie was AMAZING at showing what looks great for my figure. I had the time of my life and felt like i was on an episode of Say Yes To The Dress. I definitely recommend J James Bridal for all you brides!

I’ve been to multiple bridal shops in the East Bay Area and have had very lack luster experiences. One bridal shop had nothing but pushy sales people, another shop just didn’t have the variety I wanted to see…
I have had an INCREDIBLE experience with Julie and Amber.
They listened to what I wanted instead of trying to sell me. They had a beautiful variety of different styles of dresses and when I finally said «Yes to the Dress» they surprised my family and me with a bottle of Champagne to celebrate! We took pictures and laughed, shed a few happy tears and just plain had a memorable time.
I was impressed with that interaction alone. However, Julie did not stop there! She e-​mailed me the next day to tell me that she had inputted the order for the dress and she e-​mailed me again today to confirm the date it would be ready for me to put on!
I would absolutely recommend any bride, bridesmaid or mother of the bride to shop at J James Bridal. 5 Stars all the way! :)

Had a great experience with Julie! Stopped by on a whim am a bride on a budget and know boutiques tend to run above low budgets. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and acknowledged by Julie explained to her that I was looking for a wedding gown and gave her my budget was upfront since I didnt want to look at and fall in love with something outside of my budget. Julie was great she started looking at gowns on her racks to see which fell closest to my budget unfortunately they were higher, however she was able to find one on her discount rack meaning it would need to be altered to fit me since they are discontinued gowns not available to order! I saw one I loved she helped me into it and with her help set up appoimtment for today to have a seamstress quote me cost on alterations! Julie was fantastic about not trying to push something above my budget and she wants to get the quote from seamstress to make sure the alteration costs don’t exceed my total budget. Wonderful service is all I have to say this is the way every boutique and small bussiness should treat customers, she did not frown upon my modest budget and set to work to help me find something that could work for me!!!

This is a new store with new owners and all brand new inventory! Amazing experience! Beautiful store and gorgeous gowns! I will come here for all my tuxedos and special occasion dresses in the future!
