Terrible experience. Had a root canal done a few years ago. The root became infected and had to have it redone. Two different dentist told me the 2nd root was not fully cleaned out. Called many times and was told the doctor was not available, nor was the office manager. Was told to keep calling back as they do not return phone calls. Most the time the phones just ring and ring with no answer at both the Antioch and Brentwood locations. Had to pay out of pocket at another dentist.

I love this place! They found the problem and replaced the crown. Nurses were extremely friendly too. My kids visit their dentist every six month and look forward to going.

Everyone in this office is so rude, the receptionist at the front is horrible!!! We don’t have amazing insurance so there is not a lot of choices when it come to who my kids can see, On one visit I over heard them checking the insurance to the reminder card and they were throwing out the cards for the insurances who done pay enough!!! Dr Legaspi is rude and it is like you are a inconvenience to be there. I have talked with many people in the community and it is good to know i am not the only one who feels this way about this office.

I gave this 2 stars as I went here back around 2007⁄2008 and had an ok experience, wasn’t bad, wasn’t good. I moved and switched dentist, and moved back so was going to give her another try even though the ratings were so low. I called to make an appointment they said I had to have this as an assigned provider and would need to call my insurance. I called my insurance and they had her listed as one of my assigned provider. I called back and another person answered she was extremely rude, stated they have to go by roster it doesn’t matter if my insurance says she is an assigned provider if it doesn’t show on the roster and that I have to call my insurance and have them fax a sheet to prove she is an assigned provider. Shouldn’t be this hard to make an appointment it wasn’t when I switched to a different provider. Because the staff is so rude and all of the bad reviews I will keep looking not worth all the hassel.

United Healthcare Insurance HMO sucks. 98% of the dentists listed in their plan are Western Dental. Dr Legaspi is one of the few that is not a Western Dental. I’ve come to be highly suspicious of any dentist now covered by this insurance policy, from personal experience. I am now actually paying out of pocket to see a dentist I trust rather than put the health of my mouth in the hands of any of these other dentists. Dr Legaspi is one of these dentists. I would trust her for a basic cleaning and xrays, and that’s about it(and even then, I go somewhere else for those and pay out of of pocket). Her Antioch office is always crowded. Wait times have been over 1 hour in the past. Technicians often not friendly. The dr herself is generally not very helpful/patient when you have questions and the place is run more like you’re cattle in a factory. In and out. A dental professional told me that dental HMOs pay their participating dentists whether you see them or not. That means those dentists have no incentive to provide you with good service and in fact would prefer you don’t come in to see them at all. I don’t know if that’s true or not(or true in all cases), but it certainly feels that way here.

Dr. Legaspi’s office is very family friendly. My 7 yr old son has a sensory processing disorder and can be easily overwhelmed. She talked him through everything she did, and he felt comfortable with her. She was excellent! I switched my husband and myself over to her practice also.
