I can’t believe I didn’t write a review sooner. I contacted Lori 3 years ago during my pregnancy to help me with EXTREME unbearable sciatica pain. She took such good care of me — my sciatica pain improved significantly and the massages made both baby and me very happy. My pregnancy massages helped keep me moving, and also maintained my sanity. Pregnancy + pain = misery. Lori was the cure.
My mother and I are massage snobs. We have been to the best of the best in Orange County, Los Angeles, and internationally from 5 star resorts all the way to private ‘celebrity’ masseuses. Lori, hands down ranks #1 in our book. She is a true professional and knows her stuff — from deep tissue, sports injury techniques, to prenatal and postpartum massages. She knows how all the muscles, ligaments, and nerves are connected and hits the spot every time. The best part is, you are not sore the next day.
Lori is a Master Masseuse and Doula. If I were to have more babies, I would absolutely need Lori by my side. She has a very warm and nurturing presence, and the best part is — she comes to you! Yes! This is a god-​send, especially for new moms like me who barely get out of the house. She brings the massage table, lots of pillows, clean sheets that smell good, and her massage oil contains essential oils and are not sticky. In late August 2012, we had the great privilege of having Lori participate as a doula in the birth of our son. We are first time parents and knew we would need additional support leading up to, and during the labor and delivery process. From the moment we met Lori we knew that she was nurturing, supportive, and real in a way that would help us get through the process. Lori provided incredible support before, during, and after the birth of our son. During our prenatal visits, she came prepared with ideas for emotional and physical support for us to practice. She listened carefully as we shared our vision of how we hoped she would participate in the birth process. Not only was she a great listener, but she followed through with our plan. She was able to help my husband in being the primary support person for much of the labor, which was what we had intended. We feel strongly that Lori’s presence at the birth helped to create a labor and delivery experience that we feel proud of. She supported us at home as well as at the hospital. She was skillful in creating space for us to have moments to ourselves, while at the same time maintaining an actively engaged and supportive presence. She stepped in as the main supporter when needed; when the contractions became intense towards the end, Lori was able to provide much-​needed nurturing and guidance. She varied her approach to supporting me based on what she saw would be helpful at each stage. It was a lengthy labor (30 hours) and Lori was incredibly present, nurturing, and adaptive for the entire labor. We strongly recommend Lori as a doula.

I highly recommend Lori as a very caring person and an excellent massage therapist. She always listens and adjusts the massage to meet your needs. You never feel like she is rushing though and you feel relaxed at her first touch. If you need to get out of pain or would like like a relaxing massage, Lori can help you.

I was suffering form severe sciatica for several months and had tried physical therapy, chiropopractic, Reike… but nothing was giving me any relief. Lori has been the miracle worker for me! After 5 sessions where she skillfully worked nothing but my sciatic nerve area, the agonizing pain is gone. She is amazing! The atmosphere is so calming, so relaxing, and her gentle nature makes you feel like you’ve known her forever. If I could give her more stars I would, and without hesitation, I have recommended her to everyone I know. Whether you just need to unwind, or have a specific issue, she knows her stuff and you won’t be disappointed! She is the best!

Lori was very nice, accommodating and made me feel comfortable from beginning to end. I have had quite a few massages in the past and none of them have been for fun. Because of the jobs I have had the only reason I go to get a massage is when I have messed something up and I am in pain. Lori moved my arms and legs around a lot while doing the massage, which was new to me. I have had massage therapist move– massage– move– massage, but never do both at the same time. Anyway I felt through out our time she was focused and giving her best and not just going through the motions like it was just another day at work.
