Nothing but complaints in reviews I see… Not here! We are taking in all kinds of recycling to this location and saving up to go to diabetes camp this summer. We usually go on Saturday mornings and yes it’s busy at this time. So what! We’re turning in recycling and doing the earth a favor and getting money in return. The guy that is usually there on Saturdays hustles his butt off and gets the job done as quickly as possible. He is there by himself and does an amazing job! If you don’t want to wait, check out another one or go at a non busy day like Thursdays. We go here because of the great service he gives us. Lighten up on the guy! He is working hard.
He gives you a cash voucher and you take it to FoodMaxx for redemption at their customer service desk. Easy peazie!
As for those other reviews… you can’t please everyone all the time and some you can never please.

I shop at the Foodmaxx by this place a lot and always go by this place looking to see if it’s possible to get my redemption fees back here. This place always has a line of several people each having 20 garbage cans full of recyclables. Each of these people take 2 hours each to go through all their stuff. I basically would have to wait many hours in line to get $ 1 – 2 dollars.
I once was able to get through the line and that was by sheer luck by getting there when the place was closed and waiting for it to open.
The staff seem nice unlike the guy at the 7820 BRENTWOOD BLVD place, but the lines are hours long all day.
This store gives vouchers by the way and not cash, but it is to the Foodmaxx store which is really low priced.

Every time I go here there’s a new attendant, and every time they’re complaining about their job. Most recently I was there and while I was sorting my recycling, a woman came over and took a bin I was clearly using. During this time I specifically heard the attendant say to a man I assume he was training, «we won’t turn people away.» I returned with another load hoping that the rude woman, who happens to be a well known business owner in town, would be done. I arrived at 4:15 only for the attendant to turn me away, saying that by the time he was done with them it would be time for him to close, a complete contradiction of what I earlier heard him say. 4:15 is not 4:30. I will not be returning ever again and I encourage anyone looking to recycle to head to the center on Brentwood Blvd or Delta Scrap and Salvage.

This is a new location — the closest to where I live. However, the one guy they hired to work there is very unfriendly, painfully slow, and can’t answer simple questions like, «when will your glass be emptied so I can come back?». I saw 2 people with carloads of recycling leave in frustration — just in the short time I was there. I didn’t get nearly as much $ as I expected, and I can guarantee you I’ll not be back!
