Horrible manager and customer service. They were no help when I was about to give them a thousand dollar print job. They should be fired.

This store is around the corner from our office and I’m in there at least once a week. The store manager Dave is terrific, and all of the help have been wonderful. I have had copies made, things printed, and ordered custom stamps, I was always very pleased with the product and the service and the pricing. The check out ladies are wonderful, they remember me, ask how my new grandson is and are a delight to visit with. The store is well organized, pricing is fair, and the rewards program is good for us. I look forward to going to shop there all the time. I am in no way connected or related to anyone at this store.

Really. I have been here so many times and now you told me all the prices you charged me for the past time was wrong. And please do not give me that look. I understand that all the business need to make money in order to survive, but not with that kind of attitude.

I used the Print Center to print off some 8×10’s for a school project. I was helped by Lynn. Not only was she experienced, intelligent and so kind, she helped me to completely resize and edit my files. The prices are fantastic and so is the service.

My experiences here are similar to Steven B’s. The place is stuffed with office supplies, and it’s a bit hard to navigate, but whenever I can’t find something, the staff is always right around the corner and willing to walk you to exatly where the stuff you need is located. I’ve found their customer service, friendly and assesible. The store is never busy, and parking is always available. Pricing is average… however, you can save money if you buy their house brand.

Reading some of these other Unilocal reviews, I figure someone got spanked at this store and most likely got spanked hard. The reason I say this is, every time I have shopped here the customer service is has been the quality of a high end retailer and we’re shopping for office supplies here. They now know the importance of good CS. There is an OM closer to my home, but when I am in need of office stuff, I drive the extra distance to this OF. One reason I like this Office Depot, is that I can get certain supplies such as: paper clips, rubber bands, binder clips, etc. in the color orange. Orange is my favorite color and kinda my signature color, so it seems appropriate to have these daily work items in orange. Oh, who am I kidding — the reason I buy these things in orange is so I know when some one has«stolen» my desk stuff. Great store. Clean, well organized, good selection and as mentioned above — very good customer service. Feels kind of weird giving an office supply store a 4, but they deserve it.

I have mixed feelings about this place. I came in one evening looking for pens. The store is HUGE, and I was in a rush; I didn’t have the time to search frantically through the store for the one thing I needed. I usually don’t like being bugged with ‘can I help you find anything’ when I’m at stores like this, but this time it would have been nice! The two workers I spotted there were too busy talking about the latest sports game to help a customer. I had to literally interrupt their conversation when they didn’t acknowledge the fact that I was standing right in front of them. Annoying. When I finally did get help, they were very helpful. I found exactly what I needed. The cashier was super friendly, as well. Bottom line: if you’re coming here and you know exactly what you want, you’re golden. If you need a little help finding something, you might have to be a little pushier in demanding some attention.

Today was a long(but generally pleasant) day, and I did not want to make space in my afternoon to sit in frustration at the incompetence of the one person who would actually help me. Worse, I was the only customer in the store and what could have EASILY taken five minutes took forty, mostly due to an assistant manager’s terrrrrrible customer service: he stood around chatting with a cashier while my obviously inept attendant(who was really blameless and was vigorously working after an A in effort) REPEATEDLY asked him for help. Meanwhile, I ended up waiting around nearly 40 minutes for a single 59-cent transparency that I didn’t really need. I should have left without it, but it felt within reach the whole time, although the first thing my helper said to me was«I don’t even have a computer.» She tried valiantly, but I’d just gotten off a day of work helping completely e-illiterate people through minor minor minor problems that always seem to take forever — unless I just do it for them myself. She spent the great majority of my time there on the phone with tech support. She seemed absolutely unable to comprehend what the tech guy was saying for the most part. I came very close a couple times to asking her for the phone but didn’t because I thought it might embarrass or insult her. I didn’t mean for this to be a tirade against this well-intentioned employee; I’m sure our time together was just as irritating and frustrating to her as it was to me, if not more so. Really, the bone I have to pick is with the assistant manager. I walked in at 5:20; they closed the doors behind me when I left at 6. You’d think that after the first 15 minutes, the manager or one of the other employees(there were several, and none seemed to be doing anything) might have stepped in and helped out, if only just to get me out of the store so they could get ready to close. It maddened me when she continued to ask for his help toward the end, and he kept telling her to figure it out for herself. Finally, he made his one contribution near the end by finding the blank transparencies — but only after my attendant had searched through 90% of the cabinets in the print shop. When FINALLY my unnecessary transparency came out of the copier, manager joe told me there’d be no charge. A: it’s 59 cents. I won’t notice if I have to pay or wont. B(more important): I prepaid my 59 cents on for this service. This rant somehow became very long for 59c. Tomorrow, instead of calling the store manager to complain, maybe I’ll send him a link to this review instead.(ANSWERTOTHEMASSES, OFFICE-DESPOT!) This is a new store(ish? When the hell did this thing open, anyway?), so maybe they’re still working out kinks like poor staffing. I don’t particularly care, because I don’t foresee myself returning. Okay, so that’s not entirely because of today. Honestly, I hope never in my life to have cause or desire to visit a big box office supply store more than once every three years. It’s worked out well thus far.
