I hate leaving bad reviews… I really do. But when my experience somewhere is horrible 4⁄5 times, I make an exception. They have never gotten my to-go order right… ever. And each time, I would forget to check, only to get home and be disappointed/mad that I didn’t have all of the food I paid for. Not today! I remembered to check and make sure everything was in the bag. And it was. So I headed home. Where do I start? I ordered extra protein and veggies with both entrees. Received neither. We are already at 8 bucks worth of food that I didn’t receive. Cool. My boyfriend loves egg rolls. He’s also 6’5, so the man can eat. I ordered 12. Only 3 were«edible.» They were a soggy greasy mess. I tried to sop up most of the grease before I took a picture, and they still look greasy and disgusting. It’s probably important to note that the 3 «edible» pieces were barely edible. Grease drained into your mouth with each bite. But at least they were semi-crispy so you could actually pick them up(hence«edible»). So let’s add another 16 bucks worth of food that I didn’t get or couldn’t eat. I would not suggest going to this establishment. Their workers don’t care, which suggest that neither does management. If you really want Pei-Wei, go to Green Hills In summary: *They will NOT get your to-go order right. They won’t. Ever. So order at your own risk or make sure to check each box/container. I once just counted the boxes only to get home and find out one box was full of condiments *They don’t care what they serve you. They served me 16 bucks worth of mush in a box with a smile on their face. No thank you *Go to Green Hills

I am visiting Nashville. so thought of trying some Asian food… peiwei was right next to my hotel. thought of giving it a try. Since I am vegetarian I pretty picky about my food. I ordered a Mongolian sauce with veggies and brown rice. And surprise the veggies weren’t properly fried with the sauce and they dumped cold brown rice with it. And hey they were out of lomein by 8 in the evening. which Asian food joint says that!!! Bottom line bad experience will stay away from this place in future

My coworkers and I have a tradition of «Pei Wei on Payday» and have been eating at this location since 2006. In that time we have witnessed firsthand the slow, steady decline of what was once a first class establishment. Today, I am sad to say, was the worst experience I have ever had at this Pei Wei location. I typically order the same thing(various flavors of Chicken and Shrimp, no rice, extra veggies.) After giving the cashier my order, I was asked what type of rice, to which I repeated no rice extra veggies(no big deal) We found a seat easily during the lunch rush(should have been my first clue) and one of our guest received his salad order promptly. We then waited for another 15 minutes and I finally received my entrée. I was stunned to see a tiny portion of chicken and shrimp with no vegetables, to which I politely told the server that I had ordered no rice, extra vegetables. She incoherently mumbled what resembled an apology and took my plate back and returned moments later with my corrected order, however, I was surprised to find the entire dish was cold. The remaining third member of my party had not received his food order at all and the first at this time had been waiting, with his salad for more than 15 more minutes to eat. I understand that these things happen, but its sad when this inst the first time you have had to deal with sub-mediocre service and cuisine from an established brand with a much better reputation. I cant in good faith recommend this place to our guests in the future and will not be continuing our tradition. Guess we will have to find another place that rhymes with Pay Day.

We had the sesame dish with white rice and the Thai Dynamite with brown rice. They were both OK. Ran us $ 15 for two small-sized dishes. Like a Panda Express without the drive thru. PW is OK but I prefer PE. Customer Service was great and the restaurant looked clean despite being late.

I have never enjoyed a meal at any location! cheap food with no flavor and the locations are not clean. I understand some people may like low quality food and some people don’t care but if you want to pay a decent amount of money, pick somewhere else or set your expectations very low. The location in cool springs served me awful fried rice with hair it

Knowing this is a chain owned by PF Changs, I have been anticipating trying Pei Wei. We visited on a Sunday evening. There wasnt a huge crowd in the place but it was busy. I ordered the kung pao beef over soba noodles and a cup of the wonton soup. The boyfriend ordered king pao chicken with fried rice and a bowl of hot and sour soup. His hot and sour soup was exactly the same as PF Changs but a little thinner. The kung pao chicken was tangy and could have used a little more spice. The option to add spice was there. We didnt opt for it because we didnt know how spicy it was. The chicken was tender in texture and fried rice was really good. My kung pao beef was awesome. The beef was tender and the sauce was savory. Needed more spice but still very good. The soba noodles were yummy. Perfect texture and fit well with the dish. My wonton soup was the best soup ive ever had in an asian place. The broth was light with herbs floating in the broth. The wontons were light and had a yummy filling. I would definitely go back and looking forward to our next time we find a Pei Wei.

At first site seemed like a good place. Dining room was busy and long line at register. However, food was very salty and covered in sauce. Dining room is incredibly loud and we experience flys and other insects(though sat by the door). In general we thought this place was too expensive and not worth the wait /value.

Pie Way is my favorite Chinese joint. You can enjoy your favorite dishes and get them in a healthy option. You can always steam your meats and get extra veggies for a healthier diet. Plus they have brown rice and a awesome unsweet tea. This location is Always ran efficiently. I will Continue to be a regular here.

I love Pei Wei, I’ve been coming for years and I don’t remember being disappointed yet. Usually I pay a little more here than a normal ‘Chinese’ restaurant but it’s soooo much better. The sushi is pretty good, too. I love the soup, tea and the chicken lettuce wraps. I have tried most of the entrees too. The only thing I wish they had one North of Nashville and had coupons!

The quality and consistency of the food at this location has been on the decline over the past couple of years. I keep willing to give them another try, but they haven’t been able to recapture that flavor they had in the beginning.

This meal ruined my day. I’d have been better off getting the $ 5 combo from the Chinese place in the mall. The service was poor, the staff was rude, and the food was all around bland and cheap. All four of the people in my party hated their meals. Never coming here again.

New menu items are bland. Sushi tastes pre-made and refrigerated(not fresh). Kids meal has no vegetables. Cashiers don’t have access to an in store allergy menu and are not equipped by management to handle inquiries about food allergies. Overall not a Pei Wei experience that will have me returning.

I love this place. The food served is always great in taste & the portion sizes are good. You can also ask for brown rice here. Prices are very reasonable. Be prepared to have a hard time finding a parking spot and a table at lunch time on weekdays.(It takes at least 15 minutes for your order to arrive). I personally feel all items taste better with rice than noodle.

I have not been to this restaurant in three years so perhaps my expectations were old-fashioned, but I was not impressed today. First of all, they no longer carry my favorite dish, coconut curry vegetables. Secondly, they brought me white rice instead of the brown rice that I ordered. The waiter was very kind and I appreciated his attitude. The meal was dry and the rice was drier. Thirdly, I had to ask for napkins which had been out of stock for a prolonged period of time. They also ran out of lids for the cups. Now I understand I did go during the peak lunch hour but isn’t that when a restaurant should be even more careful to keep up with the demands of the customers’ needs? It just might be another three years before I come back again.

I used to thoroughly enjoy this restaurant, but continued changes to menu and condiments are turning me away. The company clearly wanted to change its demographics. They have succeeded and I may no longer be interested. I don’t know if this location is under new management or something else, but the service on this trip has been complete chaos. Really out of character from experiences over the past several years. No longer is this close to a traditional restaurant. Management seems to have moved more closely to semi-fast food. No untensils, napkins, or plates on the table. Bare. All customers are required to stand in a mob at the soft drink machines to fish self-serve for napkins, utensils, etc. It used to be a fast moving mob dealing primarily with drink service. Now, it’s just a free-for-all in a space too small for that many people. Had to drop another star. VERYDISAPPOINTING!

Summer rolls were tasty. Lo mein was great. Recommended by my sis and brother in law who live in Nashville. I wouldn’t recommend the tofu again.

I love Pei Wei and this location is as consistent as the others I have visited in the past. Friendly service, food cooked to order and served hot at a reasonable price. My Mother has celiac and Pei Wei is her favorite place to eat out when she visits in Nashville. They have a gluten free menu with options that are not«marked up» or different from the other menu items the rest of us order. Mom can enjoy a meal without a bigger tab or having to sacrifice what she likes, which is typically the case when eating out with her condition. Gets pretty busy on the weekends and during lunch hour, but it is definitely one of my «go-to» places.

I would normally give them 5 stars but tonight our food was not good. First time in 5 years that we had this problem! I always get the Pad Thai, my husband gets the honey crispy chicken, kids get the lo mien and edamame. It’s usually, fresh, tasty and great quality. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to our needs(when we have them). Tonight we felt like our meals were not up to par. Nothing tasted right. We are hoping it’s a one time issue. Pei Wei is owned by PF Changs(FYI), and is similar rod but lower end, more of a «fast food made fresh» concept. Overall, we normally have great experiences here and will definitely give it another try. Prices are very good for the amount and quantity of food you get.

Waltimore likes. Orange peel chicken on white rice is a fave. Orange tea is very good. It gets busy at lunch, so go early or wait for a table. (I don’t know why others complain about service — this is a «fast casual» restaurant, so there is no wait staff. You order at the counter, pay, take a number, and have a seat. Folks bring your food pretty quickly. What’s to not like?)
