Experience was painful.

Can I put a 0? No, but it’s what they deserve.
Poor service and no call backs. A 700 dollar job and nothing was done besides a buff. They are bad, they said they would come back to check on it after it dried but didn’t.
STAY AWAY

If you’re looking for knowledgable and ethical salespeople, installers, and ownership for your floor installation RUN FAR AWAY! Whether they stand by work, and come clean when faced with numerous outright lies effecting purchase, warranty, and install is another matter.
This review is based on the fact that the floor was not laid to instruction, it was laid incorrectly, the owner lied about the floor manufacturer warranty, his Mexican project manager either told the truth that his no Ingles installers did not follow his repeated instructions, or he lied about them and… well that’s no better. The salespeople were not truthful about proper installation techniques, what options are available, and who manufacturers their some of their products (don’t fall for the this is made locally line, unless Texas is now considered a «local» manufacturer. Installers also ignored repeated instructions from the homeowner on the lay.
Looks like the entire job will have to be torn out and replaced. This was a brand new lay.
Thus far, they have turned a one room one week project into three weeks and best case will likely add at least one more week, but probably two. From one week to possibly FIVE for a single room? Inexcusable.
My advice? Do your homework, read the manufacturer warranty, be present when they install the floor, and don’t turn your back, not for a second with any of the employees or owner of the company. Good luck.
I will amend my review and give more specifics and photos upon conclusion of the job. R&S Flooring may be good for straight up installs, not a lot of care or thought, and NO added value, unless misinformation, lying, and bad workmanship is added value to you.

This business came highly recommended. Excellent customer service, competitive pricing, superior installation. Went above and beyond to meet our needs and get job done. Will surely use them again on our next project.
When spending thousands, you want a reliable company-​this is it! Save yourself the headache and hire them!

R &S flooring is a class outfit. They installed and finished two rooms in our home to match some existing floors and the match was perfect. We had a problem with the floor cupping (edges of the boards curling up) after a few months. Upon calling R&S, they sent someone out to check for excess moisture and found none. With no argument they agreed to come out and refinish the floors at no cost to us. It is really great to find a business in these times that is customer oriented and stands completely behind their work. Jim Valentine is a very pleasant and professional representative and it was a pleasure doing business with him.

My friend Skeeter had his entire house done with R&S flooring. What I really liked was the detail of the joints and tight fitting cuts the did. True craftsmen that take pride in the work they do. they even made really nice frames around the where the floor air vents are made out of the same hard wood as the flooring… I am envious of his new floors and I will be sure to call Ray and Tim when the time comes for me to upgrade my flooring
