Proper Pot

What amazing customer service. We bought cheese and jams for some snacks — about $ 60 worth. We requested to pick them up later since we had no ice chest. Then we totally forgot and were an hour away when we remembered. Upon calling, we were given a full refund! Even for cheeses they specially cut for us. 5 stars for being so accommodating!

Great place! Excellent assortment of specialty foods, wines, kitchen tools. I always make a point of stopping in to sample –and buy — some cheese. Selection is amazing and the cheese prices are better than the local grocery stores. One of the better stops on Main St.

Shopped here a couple times as a local but our last experience leaves a sour taste in our mouths in more ways than one. We bought a bottle of Italian white wine after tasting it in the store and it was delicious — light and crisp and much like a Pinot Grigio. Got a bottle home and after having a problem getting the cork out, found the wine to be quite musty tasting, as if it had gone bad. The dry cork probably had something to do with it. My husband tried to return the wine explaining the problem, hoping for at least store credit and was turned down flat! When my husband told the man behind the counter we wouldn’t be back, he just shrugged his shoulders. I guess the tourist trade is enough for The Proper Pot. We will take our business to other shops in downtown Brevard, where everyone else is much friendlier and more customer driven.

If you want some nice, jam, mustard, coffee, wine, olive oil, or other fancy condiment you can probably find it here. A large collection of kitchen gadgets as well.

I love anything for cooking or the kitchen! Loads of neat gadgets here. Stuff you don’t need but absolutely want and must have. A but pricy however.
