We just had a great meal at Barado’s Café. We walked in without a reservation on a Saturday night and even though they were quite busy they accommodated us and sat us immediately. I had the filet and my wife had the short ribs. Both were excellent! I know because after I polished off mine I helped my wife finish hers. What else would a gentlemen do? We will be going back very soon, but next time with a reservation and several friends to share the great food and wine.

Best food I’ve found in the Brewerton/Syracuse area. My husband has the pork shank and I had vegetable ravioli. Every vegetable was cooked PERFECTLY and you could tell everything was made fresh.

This is the best food I’ve had in the Syracuse area. Totally cooked with love and it shows! All locally-sourced too!

Wonderful place to have dinner both the food and service are fantastic. If they ever announce they’re going to do another breakfast run there it is awesome.

This place is amazing. Two talented women told us their story about wanting to open their own place and finally getting there… and we are so grateful. After suffering through a lack of good food locally, we are so glad it opened. Fantastic fresh food prepared with love(it certainly tastes that way) and you feel so welcome there. You have a good chance one of the owners is waiting on you for dinner. The menu is limited to a few entrees, apps, salads and usually one specialty pizza for dinner every night, with new menus every few days or even every day. The place is little and has become so popular that we always call before heading over which I would recommend. We have been many times and since we live within 5 miles it’s a good thing it’s just a tiny bit pricey or we would eat there constantly. I keep telling people that the drive is worth it and you wouldn’t believe it’s in brewerton, home of fried food joints. Can’t recommend it highly enough. I have had lobster ravioli, beef tenderloin, chicken pasta specials and more in my trips and have not yet tasted something that wasn’t terrific. Desserts are homemade like everything else. Small but fantastic.

Being a graduate of the CIA I enjoy the dining experience. Barado’s hit the mark on food and service! The Crab, Lobster Chowder was full of crab and lobster, my wife and I had the Heart Beet Salad it was delicious however balsamic dressing, outstanding, served on side in plastic soufflé…ugh! Filet cooked spot on, Scallops seared nicely and cooked perfectly. Don’t miss dessert the Carrot Cake was a hit! The larger of the two dining rooms had a party of eight women who were quite loud(having fun) we asked to be seated in the smaller dining room and it was not a problem. I thought because we were the only ones in this small dining area we would be forgotten, not the case. We were asked during every course how everything was so service was attentive. Wine service could be improved We had a bottle and it wasn’t presented before tasting and never were our glasses refilled by server. This is a spot not to be missed relatively inexpensive, for the quality of food and service!

Being a chef myself I heard about this spot from some family members and they said it was great! Since I live out of town now I like to try new places when I am in town and especially support LOCALBUSINESS! Both my dad and my uncle said they have the best corned beef hash! We went for lunch and the restaurant seemed to fill up all at once. That being said service was timely and the food was perfect! Nice job! The restaurant is very nice and clean inside as well! Will visit again next time I am in town!

Stopped for dinner last night with wife, what a great new quint restaurant for the area. Had heard about it from friends who had eatten there and had to try was not let down one bit. Food was amazing, wife had the Sea scallops that she said where cooked perfectly and good size portion. I had the pork shank over risotto that was a huge portion that feel right offf the bone and had a taste to die for. Spoke to the co-owner as she walked through the restaurant, told use about place and how dinner menu changes weekly and all the homemade desert s they had to offer. We split the homemade carrott cake, normal not my first choice but I will definitely get it again when we go back. I would recommend trying Barado’s when looking for a new and enjoyable dinner experince.
