This was a great place for us. We were just returning home from a long vacation and needed to refuel for the last leg of our journey. The wait staff(Aliya in particular) was especially attentive. The food came quickly and pipping hot. I had the pulled pork skillet and my husband had the steak. Both delicious and cooked to perfection. The craft beers were well done. My pint of whiskey stout was great and my husband loved everything in his flight. This will definitely be a place we return to.

Atmosphere is cool. Wait staff was prompt and courteous. But the food was awful and the beers tasted like dish soap. Cool place to hang out, but definitely grab food before you come. Stick to bottled beer

Went here yesterday for my nieces 10th Birthday and for a local fundraiser. What a great time! With music, raffles, balloons and bull rides– there was fun for all ages. We will be on the look out for more fundraisers and definitely be going back for the fried pickles and bacon wontons. Great job Bull & Barrel!

We were tired of fast food, so we stopped in for a bite on our way through town, and this place was perfect for lunch. Their veggie burger was one of the best I’ve ever had! They’re made from scratch with corn, chick peas, peas, and delicious. My husband liked his burger and fries, and especially enjoyed his beer. They even offer a children’s menu, and my son enjoyed his grilled cheese.

My second time there and everything was as good as the first time. The food is fabulous, the staff was professional, the beer is delicious and the restaurant is gorgeous. I wish I lived closer so I could go more often. If you want great food and a good time I highly recommend this place!

How funny! My feedback was taken down. Don’t eat here — gross shit flys up from the area where the bull is and gets in the air and in food. Disgusting

This was the second time I gave it a try. I forgot why I didn’t like it the first time. It seems silly but the chairs! You walk into a bar scene with banquet/diner chairs so tacky. It’s a cool scene but those chairs make me think I’m going into a cheap environment. I had a chicken sandwich which was decent my boyfriend had a pulled chicken which was so dry and minimal meat. The bull is cool but also very noisy place great for kids but not for conversation.

I only gave this place one star because the blueberry beer is very good. We went there for dinner and got a burger and shrimp po-boy. The burger was so bad I could not ever eat it. The beef may have been old or left out it that a very bad taste. The shrimp were small and gross they had a weird odor. Even the French fries were over cooked. The beer was good but that was it. The server asked us why we did not eat the food so we told him. He did not offer to get is anything different and charged us full boat. It’s a nice place inside and good beers but eat before you go there.

Food was great. I ordered the fish and chips off of the specials for that night and my boyfriend had the hummus burger. Both were yummy and service was good. A bit loud inside but that’s to be expected in this environment

This place has a great energy and lay out. You can ride a mechanical bull, do some line dancing, watch a football game, or just drink at the bar. Ive had several of their appetizers and they’ve all been good. They have healthy choices on the menu as well as indulgent choices. It’s a nice balance. The bartenders have been cordial and attentive.

Beer is great, cocktails great but pricey, food is bar food so don’t have high expectations. They have live country music sometimes which is a lot of fun

Loved this place! I went with my boyfriend for the first time last night and the food was soo yummy ! The pickle chips and bacon stuffed wontons are amazing. They also give you a bowl of popcorn when you get seated, which I thought was pretty cool.

This review is for Patrice as much as it is for the restaurant. The parents & I went for beers and stayed for snacks. The beer flights were pretty good — I had a bourbon barrel ale, a pumpkin ale, some type of citrucy beer, and an IPA. Dad went for the Scottish ale. The snack food is basically what you expect from most pubs — cheese Doritos, wings, pretzels. Nothing fancy but filling. But a special thanks to Patrice for not only being super nice, but also running out to get us when mom forgot her credit card inside(oops!).

We only went here because we were visiting friends in the area. Otherwise, I’d never heard of it. Big, bustling bar and restaurant with a «bull ride» in the middle that was ridden by both drunken adults and(sober) children, which made for an entertaining backdrop for our high top table near the bar. Really nice staff, and our heavily tattooed server was really pleasant and prompt with getting our party’s drinks out and orders in quickly. Lightly-buttered popcorn as a complimentary starter was a nice touch. We tried some of their unique beers, included a «limited edition» local seasonal pumpkin ale that had been aged in beer barrels. The food was solid. The wings and pulled pork were good, not great. The burgers, however, were enjoyed immensely by everyone in our party. They were HUGE and thus very satisfying. I tried one of their signature burgers, «The 2 Faced Burger», which was a 50⁄50 blend of pulled pork and ground beef with homemade slaw on top. The combo worked well, and even the bun was good. Their waffle fries, especially with a side of BBQ sauce, were awesome. Due to its distance from me, I’ll likely never come here again, but I definitely enjoyed the time I did.

We had our son’s 30th surprise birthday party last night and the party was all around fabulous! Lisa, the Event Planner, helped us put the party together and guided us through the whole process. She was amazing and totally on point. The food was delicious and the meals for over 20 people came out at the same time. Everyone enjoyed their meals as we witnessed lots of clean plates! The atmosphere was lively and we had fun watching our guests take a chance riding the mechanical bull! They were very accommodating as we wanted to decorate our area(mezzanine) with balloons and other fun things. Our wait staff was great and couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you to everyone who helped make the party a memorable night.

Hubby and I have been wanting to come here since they opened, so we were in the area and decided to give them a try. This place was so much bigger than I thought. We were seated along the back left where they have ½ booth, ½ chairs. It was the perfect spot for us bc we had our 3 year old and 9 month old. Once seated they brought the popcorn and offered my daughter a coloring book with crayons(brownie points for the coloring book vs a kids menu with a picture). As always, I ordered my daughter meal(mac n cheese) right away — it came out pretty fast… Hubby and I started with Corn Fritters — they were pretty good. The chipotle remoulade sauce served with the fritters was awesome. Hubby ordered the Pulled Pork Skillet(served with corn bread and slaw), I ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich served on a Pretzel Bun with fries. I must say, we’ve had a lot of Pulled Pork throughout the years and for us this was the best flavored Pulled Pork we’ve had in a very long time. Our server was always around when needed and the staff all together were friendly. If we lived closer we would dine here more often. I’m looking forward to our next visit! :)

Had a 30th birthday party here. Constantly getting harassed as to how many people were coming and when they would be there — there was no line at the door of people waiting for tables. Waitress kept forgetting drink orders. They charged 2 dollars per slice to cut a cake we brought(would have bought a cake directly from here but nothing was mentioned when the reservation was made. Left over cake was put aside as the waitress left and we enjoyed the bar area. When ready to leave we asked for the cake and suddenly no one could find it — granted they didn’t walk more than 5 feet. So on top of charging us to cut the cake PERSLICE! the cost to purchase the cake on its own… and now leaving without the rest of this large cake. Food was good though but the staff made it a hassle. Had potential to be a great place but seemed rather stuffed up. Plus super boring on a Friday night!

Stopped by for lunch again. Had the corn fritters appetizer and the Spinach and artichoke grilled cheese. Everything was great and service was with a smile. Andrea took great care of me and she could not have been any nicer. I will def be back.

READTHISREVIEWFIRST! Most of my acquaintances had dined here when the Bull & Barrel first opened and I was told not to go, bad food, long waits, and terrible service, but good beer. So almost a year later and I found myself eating there and scared(I was starving and hate eating bad food when I am on the verge of eating the sole of my shoe), but my Mother was in dire need of a beer, I am glad she needed it because I will be a regular at this establishment for now on. SERVICE: My server Mike was fantastic, he was courteous, accommodating and even kept in mind my food restrictions that I mentioned when seated. FOOD: I started with the bourbon maple glazed chicken wings which were out of this world! For my main dish I ordered the pulled pork which was served on a skillet. It came with coleslaw and cornbread which I substituted for mashed potatoes. The pulled pork was fantastic and smokey/sweet. After I poured the coleslaw on the pulled pork it just got even better. I would also like to mention that I have never received such a large portion of pulled pork in my life. The mashed potatoes were made with red potatoes and seasoned perfectly. I have always felt red potatoes make the best mashed potatoes and when the skin is left in there it adds a pleasant texture, so I was extremely satisfied. BEER: Now it is a brewery but I don’t drink beer(yuck), HOWEVER my mother was dining with me and she loves the beer from this establishment. She ordered their seasonal stout and found it dark and rich. However she is waiting for St. Patrick’s day as they have a dark stout that is aged in an old Jameson barrel, that is her favorite and worth waiting for the earth to make a full cycle around the sun to yet again enjoy that cold Irish beverage. Ambiance: Better than a diner that is for sure, and any other local spot. But I am not a fan of country themed anything though. I also think that the mechanical bull is a waste of space. They would draw in more revenue with 4 – 5 extra tables and wouldn’t sacrifice patronage without the blight in the middle of the restaurant. RESTROOMS: Relieving myself into a cutaway beer keg was more entertaining than it should have been, I guess I still haven’t grown up.
