If I had a choice on what deli to get a sandwich from, this would not be my first choice. Very expensive and food is not worth the price. I had I guess a tuna melt and wow what a disappointment. There was more relish on it then tuna. The sandwich tasted like it was warmed up in a microwave. Find another deli before choosing this one. The only thing I can say is the people who work there are nice

Not sure what happened between my first visit and today. Today I paid $ 13 for a breakfast sandwich wrap and coffee. Yes $ 13. Never again. Ridiculously OVERPRICED. Never again.

Food is good but there is always mistakes on the sandwiches, if it were just one or two things once in awhile, I could live with that but when they screw up(more than 50%of the time) they are huge mistakes. Today’s mistakes were three items missing and the wrong meat. How does this even happen? Maybe they should change there process and let the person that takes the order actually make the sandwich. Otherwise someone is making an order based of someone’s messing handwriting. Very disappointing and almost not worth the frustration every time! Update: Cameron’s strikes again– this time 8 minutes to buy two bottles of water with five staffers and no customers. When we asked for service after waiting, we were told one second please. Doesn’t make any sense to me.

Cameron’s Deli is very convenient with its 24⁄7 service however sometimes those who call in and order will be forgotten and people who come in get their food before the people who call in which isn’t very convenient. Besides that the food is good and there is a nice grocery variety its location is perfect for those who live in the area and those who are making a pit stop to fuel up on good food with its closeness to the highway.

From the look of the place you would think it would be a really great deli but unfortunately it falls very short. My first time here I got horribly sick from most likely their chicken(I ordered the Cluck’en Russian) and the second time I got a bacon and egg on a wrap which was more wrap than egg/bacon and by the time I got home the wrap was cold and stiff… probably old, gross.

Today I took my first trip to Cameron’s and I am a fan! I got the cluckn Russian and it is a 10⁄10 sandwich. Nice soft roll, tender juicy chicken breast, perfectly crisped bacon and just the right amount of cheese and Russian dressing! I am definitely adding this to my Brewster lunch spot rotation.

The sandwiches on a roll are all $ 7 plus tax. That’s pricey considering they’re not overstuffed. The deli is massive but there are no tables nor is there a counter to eat on. That’s odd. The place is open 24 hours despite almost no traffic in that area in the middle of the night. There is a port-o-potty in the parking lot for reasons unknown as the building is not under construction. Is that for customers? An article on their website about their Cross River location says the owner refuses to give his name. Now that’s truly odd, and you have to wonder what’s really going on here.

I go to this deli quite often and TOMAS aka mi amor takes such good care of me! I get a large coffee with a bacon egg and cheese with a hashbrown on a plain roll(I hate poppy seeds) and before Tomas would consistently care for me, my order would sometimes get screwed up somehow. Tomas is just the best. I am greeted from the minute I step foot in that place. In the afternoon or night I love the cluck’n chicken but I order it with swiss instead and no poppy seed roll. I also enjoy the chicken salad. They have a huge variety of sandwiches, chips, drinks, cookies, etc. One time I ordered ahead of time and they refried my curly fries because they didn’t want them to be soggy. Now that’s service. I told her she didn’t have to do that but she insisted saying she wanted me to be satisfied with my order. And they’re open 24 hours! Can’t get better than that.

I’ve come to notice that depending on who takes your order, it’s a 50⁄50 gamble if your food will be right. Wheat toast sometimes means wheat bread, no cheese means cheese, light mustard means soggy bread… you get the picture. Lunch usually seems to be more accurate than breakfast for some reason. Still an okay deli overall, and the fact that it’s 24⁄7 makes it convenient.

Excellent place! The service is fast and the menu has an amazing choice of options. It is open 24⁄7 and extremely convenient. Go here for late night wings or jalapeño poppers whatever you get there is great and has basically any drink you can imagine. Real good big parking lot aswell!

Sandwich was ok but was very pricey!!! They price their food like the are located in midtown Manhattan. Would come back in a pinch but that’s about it.

I like the idea of a 24 hour deli that’s closer then rockies, but I have eaten here about 6 times and I have gotten horrible sick from it. My girlfriend as well has gotten sick a few times. Maybe they need to work on sanitation a little, employees need to wash their hands more often.

I have been here for the third time, I work close by and tried this place on Tuesday I have been back here now for the third day. I have ordered three different sandwiches and all were great tasting and rather filling. I got my co-workers going here now too. Even when I messed up and ordered a roll rather than a wedge, I called and they fixed it rift away. My co-worker loves their rice pudding and now everyone is addicted to «Tate’s cookies» couldn’t be happier for this place, and I will be back many more times. If they delivered then they’ll be getting 6 stars.

I love Cameron’s. I’m so happy we have this addition to the neighborhood. There sandwiches are terrific, and always fresh tasting. My gold standard is the Reuben, and they make it as good as it gets. I really like that they are open 24⁄7. In Brewster-Carmel area, almost nothing is open at nite, and the other nite while coming home late, I called ahead for a Reuben, and there it was as good as ever. Frankie took my order, and assured me it would be ready. They always seem busy, but parking is plentiful.

I always judge a deli based on the Italian Combo, So I called in about 20 minutes in advance, when I arrived it was immediately ready. This wedge was huge, It was bigger than my… foot! Everything was super fresh, nice amount of meat. Friendly staff. I will definitely be back, glad there is a 24 hour deli closer than Rockies.

We love having a place finally open 24 hours that serves excellent food. Quality food and cleanliness are the most important requirements when eating take out food and this place is perfect. Negative comments are from people who are in a rush is not a reason to give a bad review. Plus we always get fast service. We don’t order ahead either so i don’t understand the bad reviews here. If you want good food and a super nice staff — you found your deli. I know we did.

Even worse then the cross river location. Old guy at night takes forever to make sandwiches, I waited a half hour cause he forgot to make the sandwiches the people in front of me ordered I don’t know how he got hired.

I’ve always been really fond of the original location, a hometown classic. Cameron’s in Brewster has a lot of potential, a good amount of original staff of the Cross River location, nice to see familiar faces behind the counter. The menu is about the same, cluckin’ russians are made well, but maybe it’s just me, doesn’t quite seem the same. I think Cameron’s has the room and potential for improvement, but it’s not quite the real deal yet. Location is great, brand new, no cardboard boxes strewn all over the floors. Conveniently 5 minutes from the Southeast exit from i-84. It’s still one of the best delis in the area, and there aren’t any wannabee rednecks revving their pickup trucks in the parking lot,(Yet.)
