The place sucks won’t back up the warranty on anything. The managers don’t want to take responsibility for anything. Brought the chair in to store right away they tell me not our fault. Check with the manufacture and don’t bother us. I will never buy anything from them again.

Absolute worst, I would give a 0 stars if applicable. Joe is a liar and Michael, who sometimes says he is the owner and other times is not is even worse. They promise the world and are helpful at the store until you actually want the items you paid for. Waiting weeks upon weeks for a table that comes with only two of the chairs. That’s great except their are 4 of us in my family. The table is also scratched and each time we call we speak to Michael or Joe and both are extremely rude with stories about backorders. Then Michael speaks to my wife in a horribly condescending tone. Trying to make us feel bad that we are bothering them about the furniture they never delivered. This place is a nightmare, stay away.

I could not be more disappointed with the customer service at this store. My husband and I went into Michael’s furniture to purchase a couch for our new home on President Day 2015. We shopped around at other furniture stores and the prices were comparable. We spoke with the store manager Joe, who was very charismatic, and we felt like this place deserved our business. Value City Furniture had the sectional listed for cheaper, so Joe matched the price and knocked an additional 50.00 off. He guaranteed delivery in 7 – 10 business days. Which was fine because we were still painting the living room. On day 12, we called the store since we still had not heard anything. Joe, very arrogantly, said that he told us it would be 2 – 3 weeks. NOTTRUEJOE!!! If that were the case we would have ordered from VCF because they had free next day delivery. Joe then made up some excuse about malfunctioning springs and offered to give us a deal on a pillow package or knock some money off of the price of the warranty we did not want to purchase. Why would we want to give you anymore money? He then assured us we would have the couch at the end of the first week of March. At the end of the first week, we called again and spoke with the manager. He gave us the 5 year warranty for free and told us we should have our couch by the end of the next week! No, I am not joking. A few days later, a girl calls us and schedules a delivery for the following Friday between 3 – 6. Friday rolls around and at 12:30 they call to tell us only half of our couch was shipped and we would have to wait til Monday unless we wanted half a couch. Here is the best part, the next day, a girl from the store calls my husband and tells us the issue again. Joe gets on the phone, and very rudely says he is doing everything he can, as if we are bothering him. YOUCALLEDUS! Bottom line, take your business elsewhere. Even if you have no control over«spring“issues, you treat your customers with respect and do not lie about delivery time. We had to cancel our housewarming party, because we didn’t have a couch for anyone to sit on… for over a month!!!

Save your self the headache. We purchased a desk set and entertainment system, which not only took 3 wks for delivery but both damaged. Furthermore, when I called to let the store know they were very rude and said someone would get back to me. Well it took numerous phone calls only to have them tell me they would not replace but have someone come out and fix. When the guy finally arrived he too was rude as if he was doing me a favor ., was here for over and hr and desk draw still is broken and will not open and close properly. Shelving is all messed up in my entertainment system and it does not align evenly, as there are two pieces that push up to middle on both sides were tv stand is. I was rudely told” well that’s the way it is” nothing I can do. Moreover, if I had done my research I would have saw that this place has 20 complaints with bbb and 98% unresolved ! Stay away!

I have ordered almost all of the furniture in my home from Michael’s. They are amazing. Everything I have ordered is not only beautiful but also very well made. All of it has stood up to 2 out of state moves and my growing family. Could not be happier and will continue to order all of my furniture from Michael’s.

OK, well they fixed this, to an extent. I understand that sometimes things get back ordered, but seriously over a month? They exchanged my table for a bigger more expensive one at no cost to us. They apologized up and down for all the problems and issues and they did get me a table before the holidays. I still am frustrated that I got the run around, and no one would ever answer any questions, they all also talked to me like I was slow or something. But overall they fixed the problem, and they were decent about it. Still probably won’t go back but its good to know they will fix a problem, it just takes a while.
