Plain and simple the food is horrible and blows don’t waste your time or money. I tried it several times and it is the same result. I guess that the meaning of insanity.

Was visiting from Los Angeles for the weekend and came here twice for breakfast! The food was so good and it was so nice to be in such a low key relaxed environment. I’ve never had German food so that was great! Wish I had a nice little place like this at home.

This mornings breakfast was disappointing. The bacon was rancid & the eggs were dry as sand. The mushrooms inside the omelet smelled funky and the avocado was an odd brown color & were Molten hot so I gave up & didn’t eat any of it. Rest of the fam griped about the same lack of quality issues so we went to corpolese bakery to satisfy our food cravings. Too bad cause ice always been a huge fan. #jeers

We walked in and the owner started yelling at us to get out, so we turned around and left.

What a great place! The food was wonderful and coming from Conshohocken, INCREDIBLY inexpensive. As many have mentioned, Andy is probably the very best thing about this restaurant. He even sang my daughter a German lullaby. This was our first visit, but we’ll surely be back!

Went here on Saturday 9⁄12 after looking for a brunch place and saw the Unilocal rating. It looks like a hole-in-the-wall kinda place. Not flashy, but Andy’a Place certainly lived up to its Unilocal reviews! This guy(assuming it’s Andy) was the greeter, the server, the cook, busser, and cashier — ran a completely solo show and quite happily too! The quality of the food and coffee was great(I had Jamie’s Sandwich and my fiancé had the Bridgeport morning), the portions were huge, and the prices were amazingly affordable! If I had to have a complaint, I would say that the tables were a little sticky, but I’m guessing there may have been a number of patrons in before us at that table. Next time I’m in the area, I will definitely have to stop back!

Most authentic German food I’ve ever had! Kielbasa with homemade mustard, sauerkraut cooked in white wine, and Kartoffelpuffer with applesauce topping-what’s not to love?

This guy though! He runs the show, alone. No waitstaff. Nada. I had Earls Chipped Beef. Fiancé had Kristyn’s Chicken Salad. Friend had Apple Oatmeal Pancakes. I tried all things, and all were amazing! I could see him making the chicken salad and chipped beef fresh. Always a plus! His positive energy is also quite contagious! Brought us all smiles and laughter. Will return… Over and over.

It’s a very cute and charming place. The restaurant itself is quite homey and Andy is so friendly. The prices are CHEAP and you get a lot of delicious food. 10⁄10 would recommend.

Sadly every time I go here the food seems to be going down hill. I personally will not be coming back

This little place is on a corner with street parking, the menus are sticky, and there’s a guy with long hair and a strong German accent. What’s not to love? Oh yeah, and the food is fantastic! Came here for breakfast and wish I could be a regular here. It was so yummy and cozy. I can’t recommend Andy’s Place enough. It’s always these tiny places tucked away that are the best.

My fiancée raves about Andy’s wife’s home made mustard, as it brings out the best in the wiener schnitzel. Andy has improved the décor on the walls with his maps and own photographs of his Swiss home region. Typically neat, informative and organized.

The best part of this place to me was Andy himself. He does it all! Not only does he do it all, he does it all with a spring in his step and a smile on his face, brightening up the place with his presence. Great spirit in the guy! Brought up in Germany, spent years in Switzerland and here for 9 years is the story he told me. There are pictures on the wall of the various places. Great pics! The food is good too! Big portions and low prices. Could’ve been a 5 star but I’m sticking with 4 I guess! The only thing that makes it 4 is Andy should be running a huge restaurant and this place is not real big!

I always come to have breakfast here when I’m in town and I absolutely love this place. Andy is the coolest dude ever and the food is great. Ask him to say«sure» it’s hilarious.

Best. Mustard. Of. All. Time. Andy was a delight, breakfast was tasty and fast. The photo journals on maps on the wall were a neat touch.

Awesome food! Poor guy, his help did now show up today so it was a one man show but he did a great job! Had the chipped beef on toast and it was amazing! Rivaled my own!

Very nice brunch establishment close to Conshohocken. No complaints about the food or service. I have had both a breakfast and lunch order from here and enjoyed both. I stayed fairly traditional with my orders but if you want to venture the menu has many options of German dishes. The staff is very friendly and accommodating however the building could use an update.

Service — OK Ambiance — Bad Food — Good This place is not for the weak. Andy has a bad style in dressing and the hair of his eye brown are bound to end up in one of the plates but hell, he knows what he is doing and he is a nice man. I had the breakfast his mom use to make him in the black forest and although it’s an acquired taste, I was super happy with my overall experience. Again this place is for the strong.

«Preisleistungsverhältniss.» It’s what the British call«value for money.» At Andy’s Place, a warm and inviting diner in Bridgeport serving hearty American-style breakfasts and tasty German comfort food, you will find that you get quite a good meal for a very low price. I was in King of Prussia with a friend, so we headed out to Bridgeport, only two miles and a very easy drive away from KoP. On a Sunday morning during peak brunch hour, there was relatively easy parking and no lines or wait to be seated. The owner’s son greeted us and was very friendly, courteous, and outgoing. I had the Wienerschnitzel with German fried potatoes(Bratkartoffeln), some rye bread, and a side salad. The rye bread was fresh and tasty for American-style rye – but how I would have loved a nice hunk of the rich and malty Roggenbrot I fell in love with living in Berlin. The Schnitzel was very good. Tender, light and sweet-tasting pork with a crispy-crunchy exterior. The Bratkartoffeln were different from(and unfortunately inferior to) any I’d had in Germany – more like limp, slightly overcooked potato chips than the deliciously parboiled silver-dollar-sized slivers of potato gently sauteed in a pan that I’d expected. I had coffee as well, and I would be remiss if I did not praise the mellow perfection of that cup. Yum. So again, I think it all comes down to Preisleistungsverhältniss. My Schnitzel platter cost about $ 7.50. That’s crazy cheap for what I got, the food was good, and the service was excellent. The food by itself is probably three stars, but the reasonable prices bump it up to an extra star. It’s really nice being able to go out for breakfast and have a delicious, freshly-cooked meal without breaking the bank.
