I really liked my experience here, the owner was very friendly and did my hair great! I loved the small atmosphere which made it more personal instead of crazy packed and all over the place. He only charged $ 35 for a shampoo, blow dry and flat iron and let me tell you my hair is long and I have super curly ethnic hair. I’d def recommend to any students or person on a budget! The pricing is very reasonable, I cannot speak to color/cuts as I haven’t had this service but he was very nice! I’m definitely going to go back… Not to mention they have a customer appreciation date coming up for discounted services, pretty cool!

I have been looking for an experienced and talented Hair Stylist ever since I moved here from Paris. And finally, I found Ed; the owner and stylist of Cut Color and creation. He is extremely talented in both color and cut. I have send so far, 4 of my friends to him for color, highlights, Cut and Keratin treatment and all 4 have been extremely impressed and Happy with Ed’s Work. Recently, I asked for a very specific Red highlights this time, and he had no problem achieving the results I wanted in One Shot. Now my other friends including my niece want to go to him to get my color and my hair cut. Also, the young Lady at the Desk who is also Ed’s Apprentice is doing a great job, greeting and Shampooing the customers. She is extremely sweet, Gentle and Caring.

If you are new to the area, or just looking for a new place to get your hair cut or styled, there are plenty of other options. On the other hand, if you want to be treated like a second-class individual, this is the place for you! Upon entering the salon, you are greeted by a tacky décor that looks like it came right out of a 1980s Duran-Duran video. Then, there is the«girl» — the young shampoo girl that literally sits there in the customer waiting area the entire time, with her eyes glued to her cell phone. She does not greet you; she does not offer to take your coat; and she doesn’t try to make you feel comfortable. Instead, she literally does nothing. This, in fact, makes a customer feel very uncomfortable. The owners talent for cutting and styling hair is average. His business and interpersonal skills are way below average. I once made the mistake of commenting on his website(which also dates to the 1980s in terms of style, performance, and overall functionality. Rather than express his interest in my comments(which is precisely what a mature business owner and entrepreneur does), he yelled at me, raised his voice, «instructed me not to ever interrupt him again», and basically said«I am in no hurry to be successful. Why do I even need a modern website? People don’t come here to get their hair cut — they come here for ME.» What can I say but«wow!» Bottom line: business owners that(1) treat their customers poorly simply because they make a comment about the services they provide(which, in 2015 includes the website);(2) don’t greet them when they first walk in; and(3) exhibit behavior similar to that of a teenager is not where you want to spend your money. Furthermore, any business owner that is «in no hurry to be successful» is usually the type of business owner that is in no hurry to respect you as a client; is probably cutting corners regarding safety and health conditions; and probably talks about you behind your back when you leave their establishment.
