Incredible store — really. It’s like an adult version of a candy store. They pretty much have everything you want.
Staff pretty friendly and helpful. Brian (one of the owners) is awesome.

The people here are super friendly, the prices are really low, and, best of all, you don’t have to be a restaurant to shop here!
Also, you can order stuff from them online which is super helpful since I live in Northern Virginia and they are all the way up in CT.

Globe is a good choice for any foodservice requirements you may have.
I purchased my first «official» chef’s knife here, which I still use, when I was 13 yrs. Old. They have good service and are knowledgeable about product. The showroom at Globe is large, and they also stock a good bit. They may be a fraction more expensive than shopping online or elsewhere in CT, but they are good to deal with and open to restaurant people as well as the home chef market
