Been renting from Kips for maybe 5+ years now. Great prices and the guy is down to earth. Maybe not a fake salesperson but knows his stuff.

How can this place stay in business with the single worst salesman in history? The old dude who runs the place loves nothing more than yelling at children — it’s actually kind of hilarious. His second favorite thing is to act pissed that you came into the store.
Despite living right by this place, I’m going to have to go elsewhere for ski needs. There’s just no reason to reward this guy with business based off of convenience.

Can I give zero stars? This guy was SO nasty to us. Obviously hates kids, hates his job. We walked out and will be taking our business elsewhere. What a JERK. And the store is a total DUMP. The WORST.

AVOID! After giving them the benefit of the doubt several times I have decided that the low rates are not worth it. The owner is extremely disorganized, unprofessional, and rude. Skis are not ready when they are supposed to be, and he vocally complains about his customers and was extremely nasty to my son. It isn’t worth it.

Good rental rates. Great advice from the staff for making purchase decisions too. Go in mid week to get sized up while the equipment is not rented out or shop is too busy.
