My boyfriend & I always ask for home fries well done with our omelets, for once a place actually gave us home fries the way we like them! Awesome place, friendly staff, very attentive, fair/great prices. Would recommend if in the area!

Hhhmm I only went because a friend lives nearby. Heading into the heart of the Bridgeport war zone isn’t ever fun. They have ample parking in their lot which makes it easy.
The place was absolutely packed for a weekday breakfast. Service efficient and fast. All the different egg dishes we ordered around the table were fine. Home fries done nice and crispy.
I wouldn’t necessarily return primarily because of the location but it’s a great asset to the community there. I wish them well.

CHECK YOUR BILL! THE GRATUITY IS ALREADY ADDED! This is the only 24hr diner in the area. Its great to have a place open all day, especially when you have the late night craving for ANYTHING to fill your drunken belly.
The food is just OK. They will not win any awards, but it’s sufficient to nourish the body. I usually get breakfast dishes and occasionally the French fries with a side of gravy.
They do offer alcohol, so you can continue working on your buzz if your there after the club.
Overall, its hard to mess up eggs, but if you venture off and try other items, your taking a culinary chance.

This is my favorite diner in the city. Good service and pretty good food. Its fun to sit at the bar with the regulars if you are eating alone.

Wow! Huge menu. Everyone in our party loved their meals. Enormous portions. Unbelievable desserts. You could eat there every night and not get the same thing twice.

I’ve grew up not too far from this place and went for the first time this past year and had the da, da, da, da, da, da, da — -Oh my word Crabcake Benedict is the best-est! And the desserts are UBER-wonderful. They come in every Wednesday and Friday, if I’m not mistaken. Joe (SUPER-wonderful waiter) will let you know.
Bottom line: Make your way to Colony Diner, eat and let your belly rise!
