Best fish tacos I’ve ever had. We did a roadtrip from the Bay Area to Yosemite to Tahoe. Along highway 395, this place was a surprising find. Clean and comfy. Brideport is a major fishing town and it’s miles away from the sea and fresh produce so stick to fish entrees and you will be pleased.

We ordered a plate of calamari and expected large juicy rings. Instead, we received calamari bits. The amount of calamari we got is much less than what we paid for. Hey, I guess that’s part of the experience of having sea food at 250 miles from the nearest ocean. So, don’t expect much with their sea food. If it’s fresh water fish cuisine, you might have a better chance since Bridgeport supposedly is near prime fishing spots. I think the ambience of this restaurant’s outside seating is really nice. It’s a good place to rest and recharge during long road trips.

if you like fried seafood this is the place to go. The fish and chips was not my favorite in my seafood platter. The calamari was fresh and clams were good but the fried prawns was huge and very delicious. Self serve soft drinks are always a plus. The $ 15 for my platter, I thought was a little pricey for counter service.
