A growing crack in my windshield, caused by a rock on the highway, needed to dealt with asap. I called Safelite, Safelite worked with my insurance company, all I had to do was book a date and window of time. The technician, Wilson Anzolletti, let me know what time he would arrive, I also received reminders and notices electronically, and he, indeed, arrived exactly when he said he would. He was terrific. Expert at what he does, personable, took the time to explain what he was doing and how, and cleaned up afterward so you’d never know he was here. He was, really, extraordinary. Sloppy and noisy repair. A tech came back out and used a box cuter that was slashing the Jeep decal on my Wrangler. Low expectations, bad mobile service. Maybe a shop is better.

After talking to a customer representative and driving from Norwalk to come to find out that the manager decided that he would not repair my window because his technician wasn’t capable of repairing it then talking back to the customer representative she informed me that she had contact the store to find out that the manager was hiding in the back and will not talk to me Great customer service Dave

Safelite charges a junk fee of $ 9.95 for removal of your glass. That is not included in their online estimates. The $ 9.95 is charged whether they remove a pebble or an entire windshield. Buyer beware.
