I went to sleepys for a new mattress and was assisted by Deontae Carter who was a great salesman. He assisted me and my boyfriend with everything we needed and did not pressure us to purchase anything. I will definitely recommend this location.

I went shopping with my boyfriend for a new mattress for his room. Walked in shortly before closing but was still greeting warmly. Barry was a huge help in letting us know the best mattresses for his needs. Testing the beds was a little difficult at first but once Barry introduced us to cool gel pillows the decision became simple. He was fabulous throughout the whole process and we couldn’t be happier with our purchase. Strongly recommend him to those looking for a new mattress but not sure of what to get. Go see him and you’ll walk out satisfied.

We only get our beds at sleepys because of our sales man Deontae Carter. He is always there! He makes mattress shopping fun and knows his stuff. He is not pushy and meets you at the price point. He is professional and I trust his word We have furnished 2 homes with sleepys merch and have been greatly satisfied so its the only place we go. Deontae for President!!!

I am so greatful that I walked into this store and met Barry. He took such great care of my husband and I. We both have back problems and have always had a hard time sleeping. We searched for months to find the right bed and were completely confused before we met Barry. He took his time and explained so much about beds and really taught us a lot about how to find the right one for us. Thanks to Barry when are now sleeping on our brand new bed comfortably and for the first time in years we are BOTH actually sleeping great. We are so thankful and would recommend anyone that’s looking for a great bed at a great price to go see our new friend Barry

This is a continuation of my previous«bad» review which was not deemed helpful. In the end, three guys delivered the bed on the sixth attempt. Yes, the 6th attempt. Like I said, I can’t make this up. Customer service reached out to me after I wrote this review. I was away when they attempted to call me at my home. I left a message when I returned. They have not called me back. Not sure what they will do at this point. We shall see…

I have seen the previous reviews of this Sleepy’s and was sorry that the service was so bad. I had quite the opposite experience when I went there. About 6 months ago, my daughter decided she was going to stay in the New York area and because of that, she needed a bed. I went to this location because my brother lives in the area(I am in California) and the clerk who helped us went out of his way to find a good fit in a mattress for my daughter, even though he knew we were not in a position to buy at that point. He gave us a quote that was much lower than we were expecting to pay. Time passed and it is now six months later. I called Sleepy’s last week and spoke with a salesman named«Joe». He was more than happy to look into the current pricing for the same deal and I was ready for a major up-sell. I was wrong, the price was actually pretty close to my original price(within $ 100 and the original price was VERY low). They promised delivery to the Bronx on Saturday, within a 3 hour window and actually showed up in the first hour. I have nothing bad to say about the experience!

Never again. I was lied to. My mattress ended up being $ 1600. I paid $ 700 up front and financed the additional $ 900. I thought I was only paying the $ 900. Nope. They’re taking $ 135 out of my paycheck every month for a YEAR, which is over $ 1600, add that on top of the $ 700 and I’m paying $ 2300 for a mattress. I will never EVER use Sleepys again. Also, the person from Sleepys that commented on my review with an email address? I emailed them a week ago, with my phone number and have heard absolutely nothing back. Its like they’re pretending to have good customer service or something. Yet another update: Someone finally got ahold of me through email and offered to send me a mattress encasement, «free of charge»(because technically I paid for it since that’s what I thought I was getting in the first place, when instead was given a mattress cover for $ 100 when the salesman said he was going to throw it in for free for me) Its been a month now… have I gotten anything? Nope! I despise this company so much at this point, I get angry everytime I get in bed.
