Best butchers around!!! I highly recommend them and they have the best prices. They have great selection of Italian imports of meats and cheeses.

Best Italian deli in CT! They are old school Italians that do it the right way from the butchers cutting meat daily, to delicious imported cheeses(love their sharp provolone) & meats to your favorite pastas! They are a one stop shop to create a wonderful Sunday dinner. We love all of their butchered meats as well as dried sausages & you can’t beat the prices for quality & service that you get. Their grinders are handmade to order by Teri & Rose & they are delicious! Make sure to bring cash or a check!

A hidden gem located in the heart of Bridgeport. This place has been one of my favorite delis since I was a kid. My go-to sandwich is the Italian chicken club. It comes with bacon, a ton of gooey cheese, and a basil mayo that’s out of this world. Honestly, I haven’t tried much of the other specialty sandwiches that hey offer because I always get the Italian chicken club on a grinder. The staff has been the same for as long as I can remember and they are always super nice. In addition, they have a small grocery selection of imported Italian goods(olive oils, cookies, etc.) The only negative aspect is the parking. Parking on Main Street in Bridgeport during lunchtime can be challenging at times, but once you take your first bite into your Italian chicken club, you forget all about he stress of finding a parking spot.

A great old deli. One of the quickly disappearing small family businesses. Cold cuts, butchering, groceries & sandwiches — all amazing. Highly recommend. Street parking; cash only.

Simply the best around and very reasonably priced. Great family owned business that’s been there for 50 years. They must be doing something right. Great meats, sandwiches, sausage patties, burgers, cheeses, Italian goods and more.

This is a great place for cold cuts and prepared foods and groceries. I hadn’t been there in a while since I don’t get to Bridgeport often. As good as ever. The cold cut sub was excellent as was the porchetta sub. Only take cash.

Great $ 5.00 sub sandwiches for lunch; they use all Boarshead cold cuts. Plus while you’re there, you can pick up some excellent cuts of beaf etc for supper. I’ve been a customer of their’s for 40 years!

Great Italian combo sandwich! It is also a mini-supermarket for authentic Italian foods. Pick up a sandwich for lunch and buy all the supplies you need to make a great Italian dinner.

Recently popped in on a quick trip to Bridgeport. We had a cooler ready for the road trip home to DC. We left with delicious cured meat, cheese, olives, tomato sauces, etc. The place feels like a real Italian depot even before you walk in the door. It’s located in an ‘old school’ part of Bridgeport, on the corner of Main Street, about a mile or so from the burnt-out downtown which appears to have peaked about 50 years ago. Perfect location for a place such as this… The shelves are stocked with classic Italian items, and the people working there have exactly the energy that you would expect. I believe this place is somewhat of a Bridgeport landmark. My gf used to stop here with her dad when they were in town visiting the grandparents back in the 80’s. We were glad to see Sorrento is still bringing the good Italian stuff to BPT. FYI — Cash only. Of course! It’s like 1960 in this place and it’s perfect.
