They mixed dairy cheese in with our vegan pizza. Yes, all 12 of us noticed. A group of 11 of my friends went here specifically for the V for Vegan pizza & once we received the pizza we noticed the cheese looked very«cheesy» but we were unsure if it was because of the extra vegan cheese we asked for. So once we vegan to eat, it was clear that it is dairy cheese. I don’t see how the kitchen can unintentionally put dairy cheese on a specific V for Vegan pizza with vegan cheese. Unless there is a half vegan cheese/half dairy cheese pizza we don’t know about. Anyway, upon tasting, I immediately informed our waiter who replaced the pizzas. But we were all kind of skeptical after that(of course), and for me I just lost my favorite vegan pizza place to go to. I will never go here again for pizza. It really is just unacceptable. We believe in non-violence & though it is not about personal perfection, we don’t expect a place of food service to think we can be tricked into eating animals or animal secretions. Not cool. Also, the employees in the kitchen and behind the bar were eating constantly and drinking from a pitcher(hopefully not one used to serve customers). Against health code much?

The Bayou Beast is the best!(Personally I like swapping the peppers for spinach.) Beignets are also very good and I would recommend trying an order at least once.(Be sure to eat them before they cool down! Cold beignets are no good.) The atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice but I’ve never been when a live band was playing.

Past two times I went there they screwed up my order. Called an order in and went to pick it up and they forgot to make it. Had to wait an additional half an hour. Manager did not apologize or offer any discount. The staff ignored me or gave me attitude when I asked what was going on. Second time I got the vegan pizza for a friend with a dairy allergy and they put cheese on it. It’s sad that their food is delicious but management and staff are incompetent.

Great specialty pizzas and the po’boys are good too. Definitely try the beignets, they are delicious. They have a wide selection of draught beers and they have happy hour specials on pizza/beer/apps. Try and go when they have live music and when you’re hungry at Grand Central in NYC, go to their other location on the bottom floor. Overall, two boots has very unique pizza, which is among the best in the area. You won’t be disappointed.

Never order for delivery! I live 5 minutes away, my food was old and cold, they ran out of mac n cheese at 6 pm. The quality of two boots is quickly declining. The pizza ehhh, I’ve had better at the $ 1 pizza place on 125th st.

Terrible, rude and inattentive server. Trying to get drinks or even water was like pulling teeth. But Nicole was sure to add gratuity to a party of 3… Mac and cheese was awesome. The Pizza came out cold. Manager seemed to care less. Poor experience.

It may be a little loud, but DUDE best wings(and if they recommend mild wings take their advice… trust me)!!! Haven’t even gotten the pizza yet but if it lives up to the rest holy cow! Don’t know why people rate so low this is a fun join with high top outdoor seating and excellent pizza joint food. What the heck more could you want!!! And Nicole is awesome as a server!

Good food, I love the«guy pizza» their food is always good a little bit expensive but worth it, «big easy trio» it’s another of my favorite, if you’re looking for good and tasty food, you will love this place.

What an experience… To make a long story short… 30min wait for our garlic bread(the cook never recv’d our order) when we did get it it had cheese(we ordered without) we were told it would be taken off our bill-thanks! By that time we were so hungry we ate the garlic bread with cheese and side of marinara sauce– so when the pizza came didn’t really feel like eating. We tried it anyway– cheese pie was pretty good– the«Cleopatra» was so bland– a pound of peppers and a sprinkle of sausage that tasted like it was previously frozen(something that you would get at a fast food place) NOT impressed– will not return –ps the employees walk around eating pizza behind the bar/cook area. Very unprofessional — lamps had layer of dust like they never clean I gave two stars because the waitress was very nice and apologetic

I had very high expectations going to Two Boots after seeing the delicious pizza options that are in the menu. I was unfortunately disappointed, there is just something about the crust that I don’t like and can’t put my finger on. Both of my experiences coming here I was not thrilled with the bar staff. They were not attentive and somewhat unfriendly.

Two boots has some really inventive and creative pizza that I am definitely a fan of. The sauce has a little spice to it which is just right and the specialty pizzas are pretty delicious. Im a big fan of the specials and the wings are SUPER yummy. Also a GREAT place for friday happy hour!!!

Ok so I have to give this place a shout-out for two things(although honestly their pizza style is not my thing): the popcorn crawfish are amazing and I can’t get enough of them. Secondly: great live music. Come see everyone play! The concept(Italian meets Louisiana) is clever. Note this is actually a chain, with another branch in Grand Central Station of all things.

The pizza is only good when a certain chef is working, any other time and it is horrible. Also, don’t bother calling ahead for your pizza because when you get there apparently you imagined calling because you’re pizza is not ready and they have no order. Maybe if you took down people’s names and numbers like you used to then people wouldn’t forget about them!

Yup, you bet, it’s New York pizza. That means it’s a dry with just a smidge of tomato sauce. It also means the cheese congeals as soon as it exits the oven. Like I said, it’s New York pizza and I say that as a former New Yorker. What’s sort of odd is the sausage is described as «Italian sweet sausage» but it’s not like any Italian sweet sausage I’ve ever tasted. It’s not sweet at all. It’s quite spicy. WTF? Plus, it’s ground up like hamburger meat. DOUBLEWTF? OK I get the whole celebrity name pizza thing. It’s corny. Do I really want to order«The Cliff», a pizza named after Cliff Claven of Cheers TV fame? Not really. The interior of Two Boots is quite nice. It reminds me of a 1950’s diner, and it’s not overly decorated with pseudo-fake décor like many nostalgic diners often do. It’s tastefully done and looks fairly authentic. So kudos to them for that. And kudos to them for providing service with a smile. So in summary, except for a thumbs up on the décor and service, sadly Two Boots pizza is proof that not all things from NYC should be exported over the New England border. One last thing, I respectfully disagree with the other Unilocaler’s Connecticut pizza«dilemma» comment. And I strongly disagree that«New Haven and a few outposts are the exception» to Greek pizza. Mister if you can’t find Italian pizza in Connecticut then you’re just not trying hard enough. In a state where Italians outnumber Greeks 20 to 1, Italian style is the overwhelming norm in this state.

Two boots is not my normal kind of spot for food but as a hang out in general it is a cool place. Known for pizza and Cajun food there’s always something edible for your drunken stomach. Actually loved the wings here. They also have a spot in NYC I have been to for a slice just to say I was there. Be careful here because they have some interesting events which totally goes with the young artist crowd in the neighborhood but call before bring kids after 7 or 8 pm. I think every bridgeport local should come hang out here on a Friday after work

I came in for two things: 1) drink special 2) NY style pizza with a Cajun twist. What I got: 1) a very flat soda 2) New Haven-ish pizza with cheap and poorly done chicken What I liked: 1) I added crawfish to my pizza and it was really great. What I didn’t like(aside from the chicken): 1) service was spotty with a total of 3 people coming over to check on folks only when it was extra clear that no one needed anything at the moment and when people did need something the place was a ghost town. Just weird… 2) I arrived at what I thought would be happy hour but my server made no mention of happy hour and my menu only had non-happy drinks on it. I had given up on table service and was headed to the bar when a server stopped me and directed me back to my seat. I was so hungry and felt bad that I just ordered food. 3) On my way out I noticed the bar section really filling up and a sign regarding happy hour. This made me very unhappy as I missed out on both drinks and a fun atmosphere. My recommendation: Only go here when they are already busy– or immediately sit at the bar. Don’t get anything with chicken but do try the crawfish on your pie.

Went there for the New Years Eve party. The $ 60 per couple price was very reasonable for apps, meal, desert and champagne. They offered a decent variety from the pre-determined menu. All the well drinks were ½ off as well. Now lets talk entertainment… I’m using this word very loosley. They offered a comedy show, which was hosted by Jackson. His timing was off and the jokes were just not funny. When the crowd is looking at cellphones during your performances, that’s called a clue. Comedians Don Jenkins and Trev were good. They kept the flow of laughter going for thier sets. The DJ was good. He kept the music pumping for the crowd. Now lets talk about the«Band». They were described to us as some of the workers who play. The singer, if you can call him that, was horrible. It was even worse than bad karaōke. Once he started singing, I thought it was a joke. Once I realized they weren’t joking, we immediately left. Don’t waste your time with the house band.
